One Basic Pizza Crust
Ingredients:
1 tsp (scant) Active Dry Yeast 3/4 cup warm water 2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp kosher salt ( I use regular salt) 3 TB olive oil
Preparation:
Sprinkle yeast over 3/4 cup warm (not lukewarm) water. Let stand for a few minutes.
In a mixer, combine flour and salt. With the mixer running on low speed (with paddle attachment), drizzle in olive oil until combined with flour. Next, pour in years/warm water mixture and mix until just combined and the dough comes together in a sticky mess. (I just mix mine by hand and it turns out fine)
Coat a separate mixing bowl with a light drizzle of olive oil, and form the dough into a ball. Toss to coat dough in olive oil, then cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and set it aside for 1 to 2 hours, or store in the fridge until you need it.*
Spread sauce over pizza and top with mozzarella and what ever other kind of cheese you like. Place toppings on cheese.
Bake in a hot oven, 500 degrees, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly, 12 to 15 minutes. Watch closely after 12 minutes.
*(after it has risen, I dump it onto a floured board and knead a few times. Then roll out with a rolling pin to the shape you desire. I make mine on a cookie sheet. The dough is free form and does not touch the sides of the cookie sheet. I put the rolled out dough on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.)

Recipe is similar to mine. I add Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the dry ingredients. It really gives the crust a good flavor. Thanks for posting your recipe.
