Good Morning....
It's a cold sunny start to the day. It will warm up to the mid 60's. It was mid 30's when I got up...brrrr
Have a few things to get done today. I'll be moving my Christmas cacti to the basement in the back bedroom down there. They have been in the garage where I sprayed them to kill any bugs/spiders. Hoping they will flower this year. Last year they only got one or two flowers. One plant is huge and heavy. Might need DH to carry it down for me.
Hope we hear from Grammy today.
Not much happening yet.....Have a great day..........

Good morning. It's far from cool here. Either it rained during the night of the dew point is high on it's own. The temp is 77 and the dew point is 68. Miserable out there. But thankfully Mandy was quick.
A small load of dark clothes in the washer. This time of year not much dark anything is worn. The white load is always the largest. Ironing this morning and a small grocery order to be delivered. My last order was mostly "things" i needed, this time it's mostly food.
The park "pot head" told me this morning that the bottom of our utility bill said there would be an increase next month. There was nothing stated on mine. Every other park is going up so it wouldn't surprise me if ours didn't too. With our solar for the park it shouldn't go up as much as he says. I'll call Mary and see if her bill had that notice.
CJ, it was nice to hear that your visit with MIL went so well. Burr, you had a cold start to the day. We won't see the upper 30's for our low until sometime in December. I can wait for that, I'll freeze. hehehe
Time for one more cup of coffee.

Good Morning Ladies - - - Nice sunshine here today, but chilly also - - - waiting for the warm up they were talking about. Another mostly sleepless night - I moved out to my chair at 5:30, but not much sleep there either. My shoulder is hurting so bad these days. That was the positive out of the covid, as it didn't hurt while I was on the meds! Yesterday afternoon, I got a call from our former pastor's wife, that our current pastor would be having some surgery in Nov. and she was getting a meal train together for him, as he is single. She wondered if I would make a meal, and I said yes - she said she would deliever as that is the hard part for me, and she doesn't cook much, so thought we would be a good pair! Now, what shall I make? I'm thinking roast with the carrots and potatoes cooked with it. I'm guessing he will get lots of hot dishes and that kind of thing. I might make some soup too, that he can have for lunches or freeze for later if he would like to. I guess we will see when the time comes and I get details. CJ, those plants are going to love you getting them in where it's warm! Yes, news from Grammy would be welcome! Hope all is well. IC, enjoy your hair cut! Mamma, I have sheets in the washer - - I sure didn't have much laundry when I was sick - I stayed in a nightgown for about 2 weeks, and when they were all dirty, it was time to wash, even though not a lot else. How was your soup? Did you end up having a little party to enjoy it at, or did you bring it home. I think I will make hamburger soup again today.

Good morning. Just getting ready to head out, I'm going to meet #1 before my class. I slept in again, it was great but I didn't get everything done that I wanted to before I go, oh well, it'll be here later.
Jane, those sound like good ideas, cook bigger and keep some for you and some for him. Cindy-Al has a cactus that was his mom's, I don't know if it is Christmas or Thanksgiving, or what. It seems to bloom a couple of times of the year and it goes crazy when it does. Beautiful fuchsia colored blooms and so many of them. I accidentally (really) knocked off a piece, I asked if I could take it home and it rooted like crazy. He's 93 and his mom passed in 1981??? He keeps them watered and I go out and deadhead as needed.
Best get dressed, #1 said he's leaving now, it's an hour for him and 30 min for me, we will meet at Fleet. Blessed be everyone.

Jane, a big surprise for you to hear..... I stayed there and ate the soup. I visited with those that came after me, until a couple that I don't like at all, came. Then it was time for me to leave. She is ok but he is an obnoxious butt. And that is putting it nicely. I had a nice visit while I was there and the soup was delicious. Since Johnny asked me to bring some home I had that for supper too. Mmmmmm good.
We were just notified that our electric is going up from 12Β’ per kwt to 15Β’ per kwt. And the water sewer and garbage up by $4.50 more a month. This morning isn't starting out very well. I hope it gets better.
I hope we hear something from Grammy or Linda soon.

We ate dinner out last night. My grandson and his oldest took me. My great grand daughter waited on us. It is a Greek restaurant. She works after school. She did a good job. And the food was excellent . Heard from my DD in Sarasota. She is keeping in touch with me and I hope she can continue to do so. Praying for all of FL. I was there last year during Ian and the year before in the hurricane. I have officially been in 5 hurricanes. One in 1964 and one in 1965. Those two were in Key West. And, the one here Helene. So, hope no more. Hope all of you are well. Take careπ¦

I always feel better after a hair cut. Christina only picked up a few things at the store but it cost $40. My friend Julie was here this afternoon.

Have a good evening.

I'm sure I'm talking to myself since the sidewalk closes up early. But tomorrow I'll be heard. LOL I'm usually quite loud.
The cod finally got fried and eaten and Mandy and I shared some cooked green beans. This afternoon I made rice krispie bars so one was my dessert. Mmmm good.
Now to clean up the greasy mess and wash the dishes. The dew point dropped all day so it's finally comfortable out there even though it's still 102ΒΊ. I chatted with my sister in law for a bit this afternoon. They were heading to her granddaughters soccer game.
Good night and God bless.

Hi everyone, I'll post this again in the a.m. if I need to. I reached out to Grammy's granddaughter, here is her reply:
"You could pass along that she is in hospital and could use prayers." She doesn't have access to Grammy's computer, I asked her earlier if her mom would post something. I'll keep you posted.
