Roughing sleeping night for me again last night Got up earlier this morning Showered Just have to finish dressing Christina day She's taking me to my dermatologist appt. this morning.

Good morning.
It's pretty nice this morning and Mandy was a happy girl and quick to do her thing too. This morning she jumped up on the bed all happy. First time she has done this in a loooong time. Kind of nice to have "someone" to say good morning to me.
A quick trip to Fry's for a couple of the sale items and a run through the house with the dust mop and finish the dusting is all that I have on my to do list. This place is small so it doesn't take long but it sure gets dusty and dirty quickly. Desert life.

When one of our friends is missing it puts a big hole in the hood and our hearts. Our little group is shrinking and my heart is sad. So many have been called home and some have left for one reason or another. I know our lives get busy and as we get older we tire and just don't feel like we have anything to share anymore. But each and everyone is so very important, special and imbedded in our hearts. I am so thankful that we have met so many years ago and have stayed together through the good times and the not so good. The love and support of this family is strong and has gone through so much together and I pray each day that we can stay together for more years ahead. God bless us all.

There is quite an echo here today. hehehe
As I was getting out of my car from my trip to Fry's, Johnny was waiting at the end of my drive. He told me he is making a huge batch of chicken and dumpling soup. He will be in the main hall and invited me to bring a container if I want and have some of his soup. He is an amazing cook. I thought that was so kind of him to do. It's not just me he invited but other singles as well. If others are sitting and eating I'll sit and have soup with the others. No fun eating alone no matter how good the food.
One load of wash is in the dryer now, it had to wait for the dryer until I got home. I never leave the dryer run when I'm not at home. Now to hit the floors with the dust mop.

Talked my Joy in Sarasota just now. She is at work. They are closing at 2. Airport closing at 4 there. She is going to a friends more inland. Her boss offered her to come there.  Is is cooler today in the 50's. At home in Tennessee it is in the 40's. Brrr My back n legs hurt worse in the mornings. Should be used to it now maybe. May get to go out to eat tonight. With my oldest grandson. I hope all is well with you all. Be back later. 🦋 |

Good afternoon, it's sunny and on the cold side. It was 40* when I got up this morning. It was 66* inside so yes! the furnace was turned on. I was hoping that wouldn't happen for a while but thankful that I have it and it works!! We're up to 64* outside now so it will be a nice day. I had prayer meeting this a.m. Then I got my car washed and stopped at the local grocery and got some hamburg that was on sale. Hamburg is a staple here. There's so much I can do with it. It's game day this afternoon so I'll be leaving shortly.
ICOOK I'm glad Christine helps you like she does. Hoping the dermatologist appointment goes well for you.
MAMMA Enjoy the soup!!! It's soup weather for me too. In fact I made bean soup with ham yesterday. I think that will be my supper for tonight.
I've been wondering about Grammy. We haven't heard from her or her daughter. Maybe it's an internet issue.

Good Afternoon Ladies - - - The coffee gals have come and gone - dishes are in the dishwasher and table is back in place! It was so nice to visit with the gals again. It's been a month since I have been to coffee!
Mamma, you shared my feeling exactly about our little group. I sure do miss those that don't come anymore and mourn those that aren't with us still! Gotta love our little group and few people realize how much we all mean to each other!!
I'm ready for for a little snooze - even though I fell asleep during the Voice, I didn't sleep well once I got to bed. I just am so tired all of the time.

Good Afternoon...
I meant to get here early but then I started a couple things and before I knew it, it was almost lunch. DH wanted to go see his mom before lunch, so we did that. Had a nice visit. It's usually the same things she talks about...that's okay. She was in a good mood. DBIL set up a hair cut appt for her last week where she lives. Her hair looked nice. After we left there we decided to go out for lunch and make that our main meal of the day. We'll have left over soup again for supper. That's just fine with me.
I cleaned my oven first thing this morning. I have a self cleaning oven, but since I don't do it very often, I had to read the directions on what to do...LOL It was really messy in there. I made something on Friday that spilled over and really smoked up the house. It started out a little smoky this morning but soon got over that. I had the ceiling fans and windows open so the fire detector wouldn't go off. After I got that going, I stripped the bed and washed it all.
I'm concerned about Grammy, too. Usually her DD will let us know what is going on.
Carolyn...enjoy your dinner out with your grandson. Hope all is well with your Florida DD.
Icook...hope all goes well at the Dr today.
Mamma...isn't it nice to be greeted by your fur baby?
Elle...I was tempted to turn the furnace on just to take the chill out but didn't need to as it warmed up in here when I started the clean cycle on the oven.
Greenback...glad you were finally able to enjoy coffee time with the gals. That is something we always look forward to, getting together with friends.
I think it's swing time. I just hope I don't land on the ground. That swing is deteriorating quite fast now...and there is a couple places I can see right through the wood posts.

Finished my lunch a few minutes ago Christina left about an hour ago She's coming tomorrow Hair cut in the morning for me. She got the floors done She runs the sweeper often There is always a lot of dog hair on the floor She said there was a lot on my front porch too.
I hope Grammy is OK too.
CJ I have my bathroom & bedroom windows open a little Won't be for lone with the cooler temps. coming
Elle Didn't turn my furnace on yet It's going to happen soon My dermatologist appt. went well I have a fungus on my little foot so have to put ointment on every day.

Hello, or rather, good evening. I just got back from the farm, I'd picked up cat food and some other stuff for Al after my meeting. It sure is nice to only have a ten minute drive vs 1 1/2 hrs. So, meeting, stop at the Co-op elevator for him, drop off cans to the Cub Scout recycling trailer and back here. I've fed the dogs and cats and watered all of the plants, now the time is mine. I have some homework to do that I brought with me and do need to get the grade book taken care of. I hope today was a better one for my sub, sounds like yesterday had its moments. Last night I fell asleep one the couch, then went to bed and slept in, loved it. Tomorrow, #1 will be about 30 min away, so I'll go see him and then I have a class from noon to 4 pm with a friend of his. Then, back here for critter duty. I don't know if I'll get to the farm tomorrow, we'll see. I cleaned out some drawers as now that it's cool, a furry little critter left a surprise, yuck. The travelers should all be in Hawaii, glad they weren't going to the southeast. The Yeti's sister is here from FL and they were able to change her flight from today to Saturday, hopefully she'll be able to go then. It's a beautiful evening at 63*, I can see Blackduck Lake through the trees. They Yeti is at home and said that the northern lights were fabulous last night. I'd fallen asleep and missed them. I should go feed myself before I waste away, alas....Blessed be.
