Good morning, I had to log in again, I hope it's not an omen of the day to come. I see we are to be around 72* and sunny today. I had a prior commitment before agreeing to this long term sub job, so there will be another teacher in there next week Mon-Fri and then Mon-Wed of the week after. Yes, I will look forward to not having to be up and about at 5 a.m. during that time. Tonight I need to get organized for the stuff I need to take to the church festival here on Sunday, then I will have the next time to me. Better get dressed, my supersized sweats aren't going to cut it today. Blessed be.

Good Morning Ladies - - - Sunshine, but a cool 49 here this morning. Had kind of a restless night. My shoulder was hurting, no matter how I seemed to lay. Today, I have an appointment with the sleep study people for a check up on me and my machine.
I m on y regular computer today - - last night, I deceided to come in here with my soup and watch the news while I was eating -- For some unknown reason, I deceided to try this thing, and low and behold, it came up and I could sign in again - - - I had tried lots of times before I just gave up and let it sit. Guess it must have needed the R & R as much as I did. Anyway, I'm happy to have it back, but it is still acting strange at times too!
Laurie, a little break in the classroom will be a good change for you too! Hope the fall festival goes well for you.
IC, I can certainly understand your dislike of going to the dentist - - You have spent way more time there than one would like!
Hope everyone has a good day - I am hoping for that myself as of now, I feel pretty good - that can change in a moment though!

Good morning.
What a loooooonnngg day yesterday. We left at 8 for Mexico and got home around 3:30. We did stop at a Casino for lunch or we would have been home earlier, we were very hungry. I won't give you the book length of the day but suffice it to say i got my glasses, and my dental work is done until spring.
A load of laundry in the washer, and I now have my first cup of coffee. I didn't sleep well last night so I refused to get out of bed until at least 6:30. Hopefully the repairman will come today and fix my stupid fridge. Annie needs to be let loose today and I need to put some things away that are on the craft table. That's all I have planned for the day.
Jane, I hope all goes well with the sleep study.
IC, good luck at the dentist.

Still no power. It is being restored in different areas close to us  Oldest grandson is bringing stuff for us. And, his brother brought pizza last night and turkey sandwiches today for lunch. So, otherwise we are ok. The mountain towns are gone  Guess I will be here for a while. I am good with that but really would like to go home. BBL |

Very bad news from the dentist Crown couldn't be put back on as it's been off for three weeks & the tooth moved. More bad news The few teeth I have were X-rayed Some are crowned & decaying underneath the crown I have six teeth left & all have to be pulled & I have to get dentures.

IC, I'm so sorry to hear that you will need dentures. But then you won't have to have anymore teeth pulled either.
The repairman came and left. He found that the drain hose from the freezer was plugged and that the fridge drain hose was partially plugged. The drain holes are so very small. he made them bigger so they will flow more freely. If it acts up in a week, I should call them back. This visit was only $100, I was expecting a lot more. So if this fix works I'll be happy. I'm still considering selling it when I have the funds. I have hated this fridge from day one. Even the kid knew that was not the type of doors to have in the location it had to be.
This morning I finally got two get well cards done and I'm so very pleased with how they turned out. The new ink I got works so much better for blending colors. Happy happy.
Cap'n Crunch for lunch, and now wash up some dishes that don't go in the dishwasher. I think the stuff on the lines are dry by now too. Shortly Mandy will go out and then I will sit and do nothing. Yesterday wore me out. I need a break.

Just wanted to let you know we are home from our little get-a-way. Had a good time and did a lot.
Greenback...glad to hear you are feeling better.
Carolyn...I was worried about you. Glad you didn't have damage where you are but so sad for all those around that didn't fare as well. Glad you are with your DD.
Grammy...so happy to see you posted and doing better.
Lauriet...you sure are busy. I'm sure you enjoyed time with your family.
Icook...so sorry to hear of the bad news from the dentist. Hopefully when you get the dentures things will be much better for you.
Mamma...glad you got things taken care of in Mexico and that, hopefully, the freezer is fixed now.
