Hi there! The company came and went, left overs are put away, some dishes need a re-run in the dishwasher, but they'll either wait til I get home or the Yeti can take care of them. I'm a bit short on sleep right now. It's been windy all night, we are to be at 74* today, a long sleeved shirt it is! Blessed be, the coffee is on the counter.

A warm and sticky morning heading for a hot and miserable day. Thank God for air conditioning. We broke a record high heat yesterday and likely to do the same each day this week. Mandy was quick this morning which made mamma happy.
I started a load of laundry right after I poured my coffee so now some things are in the dryer and some on the lines on the porch. A trip to the bank and then home the rest of the day. The fridge repairman will come either today or Wednesday. For the last couple days the freezer did not defrost but it's only a matter of time and it will happen again. All I have in the fridge freezer are ice cube trays. I've saved some in a bowl and put it in the upright freezer just in case. I have to have ice in the summer. Cold water does not come out of our taps in the heat of the summer. The water pipes aren't very deep in the ground.
Take care and get well.

Good Morning Ladies. It's a beautiful morning. I slept better last night so feeling better now too. I just wish I could get rid of that head ache. I have an appointment with the foot Dr. this afternoon. First she was off after having a baby, and now, I have had to reschedule 2 or 3 times. Wouldn't mind not going today either, but may as well get those nails trimmed. I am not going to have coffee here tomorrow, as I am just not up to getting ready for it. I may go, if I feel good.

It's a cloudy morning but the temp is 70* so not a bad day. The weekend was uneventful so here it is Monday and tomorrow starts the beginning of a new month. And the 10th month! I have a load of laundry going and I'll put clean sheets on the bed today. I am out of milk and eggs so I need to go to the grocery store. I might go to the bank while I'm out, if not, that can wait.
LAURIE Have a good day. And hope you get better sleep tonight.
MAMMA I always have ice cubes in my water. No tap water for me, it has to have ice and be cold. LOL I hope the freezer gets fixed soon.
GREENBACK It's so good to hear that you're feeling better. Like I say, it feels good to feel good. A wise idea to not do coffee, just give your body a rest.
Hi to all coming in.

Goodmorning grannies seems to have been awhil since I've said thatI think I was just overwhelmed with finding out how little I could do! So many things to do and so little I can do.
Another drippy, cloudy day Temp feeling more like Fall every day! I sure would like some suunshine so I could sit outside
I hope i'm over my tantrum!
I did learn an interesting thing about the 'Amazon returns did you know they are repacked and sold! There is a huge distribution center on one side of town and a return bldg on the other side of town, DD AND 'DSIl had time to check them out. Returned items are repkgd and and go out the shelf for $14.99 then the price is reduced half each day! Nothing can be removed from it's pkg without an attendant to assist you on the final day the items are removed from the sale and go to other places like flea markets or Odd Lots if you are caught opening a pkg without an assistant you will be escorted from the store for the day! I thought this was interesting to hear.
I don't know anything else I would share the news with you

Jane, I'm happy to hear you are at least up and about now. I was really worried.
Elle, yep, gotta have ice in my water
Grammy it's so good to hear that you are rested and done with the tantrum. I was so worried about you. But I know you have a good family to help you. Yes, I knew that about Amazon returns. There is an outlet not far from Lincoln, but none down here. Good information to know too.
When I got to the bank there was a closed sigh! But as I read further, in the small print, the drive through was open, thank God. I needed money for the dentist or get charged an extra 2.5% to use the credit card.
While waiting for the bank to open I made two Christmas cards. And now that I am home I put in an egg bake for one in the oven. I put it together last night before bed. Mmmmm, I can hardly wait to eat it. My stomach is growling already.
The dew point is still high so the clothes on the lines are going to take quite awhile to dry. But there is at least a little breeze to help some.

ICOOK I paid $3.78 for a dozen eggs today at Aldi. Ouch!! I usually got my eggs free from my sister who always had chickens. But her chicks are dying and she's not getting a lot of eggs so now I'll bite the bullet and pay the price. But I had many, many years of free eggs so I can't complain.
CAROLYN What devastation you and your community/family are going through. I must confess, I can't imagine what it's like but thankful you and family are safe. Just go with the flow and you'll get home.
GRAMMY It's good to hear from you again today. You are an encourager!! I also think of Gram several times. She is missed. I didn't know that about Amazon either.
