What is starting out as a nice morning will turn into an extreme heat day. I'm so tired of this summer. With all the heat and humidity this year I wonder what winter will be like? No normal anymore, we are breaking records every for one thing or another.
Mandy and I were in the cart ready to leave the pet area and along came Mary and Emily. So Mandy wanted to go back and say hi, which we did. It was quick since Mary had things to do. She doesn't go to church so I assume she wanted her coffee.
This morning I got an email from Amazon saying they have not heard anything from the company that is to ship my embossing machine. So it's still a waiting game. I did however try to cancel the order but have to wait a until Monday to see if that went through.  I've not been charged for the machine and won't be if it is not shipped.
So I'll just keep working on the new techniques I'm trying.
Church, then who knows. Sometimes Lynda wants to go out for lunch and some times we go our separate ways.
Mandy is not happy with the bed rotation. She won't even go to the new bed. I'm sure it will take time, she and I are creatures of habit. |

We still have any power since Friday a.m . But we have water.  The mountains are in bad shape. So sad. We are supposed to go to my house tues. but don't know how we will be able to. Hope all of you are well. Will post when I can. My phone loses its charge quick. 🦋🦋 |

Good Morning Ladies. I'm about to have a little nap. I was so tired last night that I went to bed early and then didn't sleep much of the night. My head still aches but I got dressed after I listened to church. Had a cinnamon roll and a banana and a few strawberries for breakfast. Now to just rest again today. Now will just rest again.

Good morning, it's a beautiful day here, a slight breeze and is to be 82*. I had the MP on the deck where he was the referee for the Pupper All-Star 'Rasslin' Match. It was a tie as they both called a time out to lick his feet. They sure like him and he likes them; also, their dogs and ours get along well. We really miss Susie yet though, she was a big part of our crew for a long time. My brother called yesterday, we talked for a while, we still don't know a lot about what happened to our aunt, the uncles will let us know as she was their sister and are the ones who are taking care of everything. They went through the same place as she did for her sweetie when he passed. I'd guess there will be a burial with my grandparents, but who knows? I know cremains burials are different rules than the other kind. Her sweetie didn't want a funeral and I don't know what her wishes were. #1 is at a repatriation ceremony for two youth who passed away at a tribal relocation school about 100 years ago. He is doing some photography for it, that's about all I know. There were four youths, but only two families wanted to do this.
I hope all are well or doing better and are safe where they are. It's gorgeous days like this that make our long winters worth it. But, we choose to live here, been our goal to be here the whole time, so here we are. The MP is snoozing, his mom and dogs are taking a walk, the Yeti and our dogs are on the deck and I am supposed to be doing some online training that is due tomorrow. Why yes, I procrastinate well. UGH!!  We broke another record today. Back in 1994 the high was 108º, we hit 113º today at 2 pm. Nothing to brag about if you ask me. Thanks be to God for a good functioning HVAC unit.
In between doing nothing I made three Christmas cards. I think I'm stuck in the Christmas rut. I need to make a few more Thanksgiving cards and get well cards. But I'm stuck in the snow and I can't get out.  Or should I say sand?
Back to my chair and do nothing.
