Good morning! The MP brought his parents here last night, he's growing so much and is a lot of fun. We now have childproofed cabinets, that's been a while. The plan is that they'll be here through Sunday, it'd have been a day longer, but the Yeti has Medi-van duty on Monday when #1 has a photo job and cannot watch the MP, so they'll go home and a friend is going to watch him. For whatever reason, didn't ask, SIL is not able to take FIL to his appt, I thought that is why she came from FL. What do I know? I was reminded that this is her vacation, I'll leave it at that. This has been a rough week at school, yesterday was very noisy, etc, I really hope today goes better. I'm here this weekend, so I can get time with all of them. Today is #2's sweetie's birthday, they are staying at #1's and going to a wedding in Cannon Falls. Too bad it wouldn't have been a different weekend and we could've gotten together. Best go find some clothes, it's a jeans day-but the dress code is pretty casual. I should get a couple of things done before I go, but they'll still be here later. Help yourselves to coffee. Blessed be.

Good Morning....
It's a bit overcast but I think the sun will come out in a bit. The temps will be in the low 70's.
Thanks again to Linda for keeping us up to date on Grammy. Prayers continue for her. Hoping she will start feeling better and able to join in with us once again.
I was surprised yesterday, as Teddy asked to take a nap...LOL DH was playing hot wheels with him and Teddy decided to lay on the rug and curl up. DH asked him what he was doing and he said "I'm sleeping". So DH picked him up and rocked in a little and he fell fast asleep. He laid him on the bed and he slept for 2 hours. I think if I had told him it was nap time, he would have said no...LOL
I will be going to see the lady at a new bank about changing over to it. I've already discussed things with her...so today I will start doing it.
Lauriet...isn't it fun to watch the MP change? Enjoy your time with him.
Have a great day everyone.....

Good morning. A nice cooler morning but the afternoon looks HOT. Mandy and I joined Mary and Emily in the big pet area this morning. Just a nice little chat and then off we all headed for home.
Last night when going to the fridge freezer for ice, I found everything thawed. It happened once before so I thought it was because I hadn't closed the door tightly. Well that is not the case. The freezer part was off for hours this time. I had to put as much as I could into the upright freezer. So this morning I called Samsung, not a company I like to begin with. They said it's all was out of warranty. The fridge is only 18 months old. So I have to wait until 9 to contact a repair person. I've hated that fridge from day one, but I could not talk Mark out of it at the store. Now I'm paying for the poor decision. If I had the money I would get rid of it. In fact I would like to sell it after it is fixed and use my door money for a good fridge.
Sheets are in the dryer and now I need to put clean back on the bed, or I could wait and just put the clean ones from the dryer back on the bed.
Not sure what the rest of the day will be like, so I may just hide.
Prayers for Grammy, Jane and Carolyn to get well quickly.

Another day like the rest! I do go to the Dr this afternoon and then will pick up a grocery order on the way home. I'm needing that! I had some buns in the freezer so made some BBQ and it tasted good. I have a headache now and need to get in the shower before long.

Good to hear from Grammy OH's daughter and from Jane. Jane, please let us know what the doctor has to say. I have been thinking about you and Grammy and praying for you both as well as Carolyn with her back pain.
I had a hair cut this morning and then we ended up looking at and buying a newer brush hog for Mike so I was gone a bit longer than I wanted to be as my assignment for today is to make between 150-200 cinnamon rolls for Eli (DGS). His junior class is in charge of all concession stands and, since I made cinnamon rolls for a summer basketball shoot-out and everyone loved them, they have requested more for a big tournament next Friday. Today is the only day I'll have the opportunity to make them, so, I'm making a triple batch of "big batch cinnamon rolls"--that's the recipe name. I use the Pioneer Woman's cinnamon roll frosting recipe which has coffee and maple flavoring it--it is absolutely delicious and I think it just puts the cinnamon rolls over the top. I also sometimes drizzle a little cream or half and half over the top before baking and it insures the rolls are nice and soft and gooey. The rolls will go in the freezer until next Thursday night and I will get them delivered to them and they can thaw overnight and be served Friday morning. I have frozen them before and they are just fine after thawing, you can't tell they've ever been frozen. I have the three batches of dough in big bowls doing the first rise now and have been getting the brown sugar, cinnamon and butter ready for the filling and also got three pitchers of the frosting made. It is cool and windy here today so it is taking a while for the dough to rise, but that is OK, I needed a SSD!
I need to get outside and feed and water the flowers. I will pull up a few and store the pots for the season. I swear though some of my flowers look better now than they have all summer!
We've been to two basketball games and one cross country meet for Drew this week and Emmett has a football game tomorrow as well as both of us working Tuesday, Wednesday and half day Thursday so we meet ourselves coming and going.
Either after the football game tomorrow or early Sunday morning, both DDs and I are off either heading to Oklahoma for an overnight stay at the Pioneer Woman's Boarding House on Sunday night and shopping at her Mercantile on Monday morning before coming back. When we leave depends on the girls' schedules. Just me and my two girls, that doesn't happen much at all anymore and I am looking forward to the time with them. Nothing is open on Sunday in Pawhuska so our plan is to work our way there, stopping where we want along the way and get there in time for their happy hour at the hotel which has wine, soft drinks, and snacks. And, they have cooks come in on Sunday afternoon and prepare room service meals for the guests since the restaurant is closed and we have ordered delicious sounding meals to be delivered at 6:00. Then we plan to just put on the hotel's fluffy robes, kick back and watch a movie together and let the girls get some rest and hopefully even some extra hours of sleep since they both are so busy and rarely get away by themselves. I will miss the DGDs, but Josie Mae is really too young to go on such a fast trip with us yet and it will be a treat to have just my two girls for a brief time.
Time to do up some dishes while waiting on the dough to rise. Going to be a late night for me and I still have to pack a bag for the trip.
Hoping for good news from the doctor for Jane and from Grammy OH. Laurie, enjoy the MP and squeeze his cheeks for me! Love to all, have a great weekend!
