Good morning! I'm just sitting in the dark with my coffee and some cereal. We are only to be a high of 69* today, so long pants it is. I went in early yesterday as we had a staff meeting before school and I was to have a new student coming for their first day. The meeting went fine, the student did not arrive, we'll see what happens today. I stayed a bit later last night to correct some things, I do not bring homework home any more. Right now I could go right back to bed, sleeping well is not a thing here, I'd oversleep if I tried to catch a few zzz right now and since it's not as light when I leave so I want to be alert and not rushed in case I see the moose or bear again. The MP is bringing his parents here this weekend, so I hope to be over this cold-I called Al to make sure he didn't have it, he said he's good-before they get here. We got the shelves in the canning room reinforced and most of the stuff is on them, I'll finish tonight, it's mostly empty jars to put away at this point, but there are a couple of bins of candle holders I need to go through, either use them or get rid of them, I feel like I could be on a hoarding show-candle holders and books. Anyway, it's so good to hear from Grammy and I hope Jane and Carolyn are feeling better soon. Hello to all, help yourselves to coffee. Blessed be.

Good Morning....
It's dark when I get up now. I have an automatic internal clock that wakes me up every day...LOL
I managed to sit on the swing for a cup of coffee before it started to sprinkle. We are to have a couple little rain showers today. I need to put one of my mums in the garage so it doesn't get soaked and destroy all the flowers. It's a very pretty purplish red color.
I have a couple errands today then divide some chicken to put in the freezer.
I did go shopping yesterday but couldn't find any clothes that looked or felt right on me. I did find a new purse, so that was good.
Was so happy to see Grammy stop in. Hope Greenback is feeling better and Carolyn is enjoying her time with her DD.

Good morning.
The temp isn't too bad this morning but the afternoon forecast is not so nice. It is what it is. Mandy had no interest in her business this morning so she gets no treat. Staring off into space is not why we go. So that means we have to be out in the heat longer this afternoon while she decides where to go potty. Stupid dog.
Just making some cards today and washing one load of clothes. A quick run through with the dust mop wouldn't hurt though. And I have a small grocery order coming this morning. That's enough for the day I think.

Good Morning Ladies. Feeling about the same today.. I am having a terrible coughing spell at the moment. Water has started to taste strange to me.. isn't that a strange thing? I would sure like a shower today. Thought that yesterday too, but didn't happen, so will see about today. This is getting ready old.

I stayed in bed until 11. Had company
last night. Bob and Logan, and Jimmy.
Bob is sad because I am not at his house. 😞
But he works long hours. Bob n Jimmy are
my grands and Logan my great.
Pam made fresh squash, slaw and steak
for them. I had a sweet potato instead of steak 🙂
Jimmy has 3 trips in the next 3 months.
Dec. is Indonesian.
Well, I am trying to deal with my back pain.
Sure sleeping in a comfy bed.
I had eggs, broccoli and cucumbers for breakfast.

Hello again, I had a meeting this morning and my phone went off, it was an uncle who usually texts me on holidays, etc. His sister, my aunt, passed away last night. I've not been in touch for a couple of weeks, they are going to Minneapolis tomorrow to take care of things. She lost her partner of about 30 years a couple of years ago and I think she's just been existing since, not enjoying anything. I don't know any details, but if you could add Sue to your prayers, I'd greatly appreciate it. That's my dad, a bonus dad, an uncle and two aunts in just over a year.
My idea for pants turned into a longer skirt and boots, as it was chilly when I left. It was warm in my room though, could've raised bread in there, it's either that or a meat locker temps. So, I will grin and bear it and keep a sweater or jacket there. The new student was there and I'm now up to two cases of strep, one ear infection, and a case of the ol' itchy head in the room so far. My cold seems to be doing its best to hang on, if it doesn't get better by tomorrow I am going to go to walk-in as I can't be sick w/ the MP here. My dogs take a while in the a.m. to find the perfect poo spot, so many "poo-sabilities." They've been in their kennel over night so need to move around to get things moving around. They were both so happy to see me when they got home, sweet ol' Kravitz ladies!
Jane, when I had covid nothing tasted good and little actually had taste, I hope you feel better soon. You too Carolyn and Grammy.
