Good morning. Out and back on a warmer morning heading for a hot day and a hot two weeks. Thank God for a new HVAC unit.
Just a few errands to run this morning. Gas in the car, bank and check out the new $tree. Then see if I can get my brain wrapped around making get well cards and no more Christmas cards. I seem to be stuck in holiday cards right now and can't navigate my mind away from that. Holiday cards are more fun I guess.

It's a cloudy and cooler day here too. I'm assuming we'll still get some hot days though. We did get some rain yesterday and could use several more days of it even though I prefer the sunshine. I'm going to DD's this p.m. for a while. And I need to get my mind in gear and start making the knotted fleece blankets. Some will be for Christmas gifts and others to the needy.
ICOOK I haven't got my winter clothes out yet but it's getting close. Hugs as you remember you precious mother. She obviously was young when she passed. November it will be 20 years that my mother passed. She was 91 1/2.
MAMMA You have a busy day and I'm sure you'll get your mind in gear for the get well and other cards. The ones you've shared on f/book are very nice and detailed.
Thinking of Greenback, Carolyn and Grammy with prayers and thoughts of their fast recovery and strength.

Sorry I didn't make it yesterday. I got up and got ready to listen to church on the radio and then just kind of forgot. My mind is still kinda foggy. Yesterday I thought I felt some better but today, not so much. This stuff has sure taken the wind out of my sails. Time to rest more!

Good Morning....
It's a gray day but don't think we are to get anymore rain today. It's also much cooler with a high only in the mid 60's if we are lucky. It rained last evening and a little through the night. We are in very bad need of rain...so any is welcome.
I was a "guest" when I tried to get here, but figured out how to get my name back...LOL Every time that happens I can't remember what I did to get it back.
DH & I went to the grocery store early and got that done. Spent way more than I thought I would but that's the way it is now. Everything cost more and adds up quickly. Good thing for all my digital coupons. Eggs were 2.39, but with my .50 off coupon they were only 1.89.
Since I talked myself out of going shopping on Saturday and didn't feel like it Sunday, I'm going today after lunch.
Elle...you asked how DMIL was when we visited her Friday....she was pretty good, very quiet though. I think she is finally accepting her new place. I don't know if it's just when we are there, but every time we are there she goes through all her drawers looking and examining everything and things on her shelves. Lots of fidgeting goes on. It was a good visit all in all.
My mom was feeling better Sunday morning. I told her it had to be a reaction to getting both those vaccines at once. She's not convinced but that's what I think.
Sending prayers and good thoughts to Grammy, Greenback and Carolyn.
Have a great day everyone......

Goodmorning grannies seems a long time since i've said that. My bump and bruising have almost all gone and I am am now in recovery mode. Nothing was a serious injury just my big clumsy feet! I did go thru a lot of depression during that time. Just too many things I can't do anymore. Just have to change my outlook on some thigs. It is what it is.
A miserable dark and cloudy day with the temp staying near the 60 mark today. Feels like Fall is at the door.
Thanks to those of you who sent cards to brighten my day. The grannies have been together for a long time must be 20 years more or less and we have laughed , cried and prayed together! How could I ever forget the 3 years of taking care of DH when you were all my life;ine to the outside world! When Mamma said I'm crying tears of joy that you can go to the grad. It was
I will always remember the laughter as Just me got off the elevator bowing before the queen! This was the first time we had met. It was at the MiddletownMall! CJ,JustMe and me. We did have lots of laughs that day even tho I had to bring dh along with me. No sitter for dh so I had take him with me.We've prayed for one another numerous times sometimes we got a yes and some times it was a no never the less we continue to pray when we need to.Underneath all this is our circle love that binds us all together We so get annoyed sometimes just plain angry but just like most families it is soon forgotten as love continues t0 regin supreme! We will never get over the sudden loss of spouses, parents or others dear to us us. Once again the call to prayer went out to all the GN as the grannies stopped to pray for the needs of others. This is part of our circle of prayer May we always think of one another with love laughter and prayer
I spent a lot of time just thinking and this is what I wanted to share
It was dgd's college graduation
