Good Morning...
There was a thick fog this morning, but is now burning off. Going to be around 80 today and sunny.
I was awoken by the sounds of a lady jogging by my house at 5:45 this morning. She wears a headlamp and ear buds. She talks on her phone while she's jogging and goes around the neighborhood at least 4 times. She does all the talking as I never hear a break in her conversation. I've heard her several times through the summer. By time I heard her second round, I was wide awake.
I also heard kittens meowing last night around 11:30. I got up to look out and sure enough there were two kittens sitting on the rock outside my window. They looked at me and I looked at them...LOL It was too dark to see what color they were.
Greenback...I'm sorry about the setback you had and going to ER. I'm glad you got there and checked out. Hope you are on the mend now.
Grammy...thinking of you and hoping you are feeling better each day.
I'm thinking about going shopping this morning. We'll see if it happens. I can easily talk myself out of it.

Weather is going to be nice today then the cool down starts tomorrow It will be officially fall starting tomorrow It's the weekend so you know my routine I was thinking of making tuna casserole Haven't had that in a long time It will taste good Making a pot of chicken soup too.

Good morning, slept in a bit and now to get a start on the day. The last two days the Yeti has some home from two different aunts and uncles, with a lot of canning jars. Both were clearing out some spaces, so I've got jars that I put through the dishwasher to put away. Best part is there were boxes of new lids in both piles. I had to have him buy me jars when doing pickles, then bought some on FB market place, so this was such a treat! That's first on my to-do list. I talked to Al last night and he would like to go to Polka Mass-it's a regular mass but they do some music before and after the mass, as well as some when there is a break in the service, all very appropriate. Then, they are having their harvest fest chicken dinner after. I'll probably go tonight and spend the night and come back tomorrow. The ILs are having dinner at their house tomorrow, we'll see what time I get back regarding that. Better get to it, blessed be everyone.

Good sunny morning and it's going to be in the upper 80's today and tomorrow then the cool down. We had a little bit of rain yesterday late afternoon. Not enough but thankful for what we got. Rain is in the forecast for the next several days starting tonight so I hope we get it. The grass is really getting brown. DD/spouse came last night as usual. I plan to do laundry, get some groceries and bake cookies today.
GRAMMY'S DD posted last night if someone can/will move it here.
CJ I don't think I would like to hear someone's conversation on their phone that early in the a.m. And kitty's? Did someone drop them off? My sister lives in the country and she seems to have the "drop off" your unwanted pet place. It's terrible how people can do that to the animals.
ICOOK I'm guessing, dusting? today? LOL I got mine done earlier this week. Enjoy your day and stay healthy.

Good morning.
It may be the last day of summer but the heat after today will not be fall like at all. This morning it is a beautiful 68ยบ and sunny. Jacket and shoes this morning but no beading.
Mandy and I went to the big pet area and visited with Emily and Mary. Emily was so happy to see us that she barked and barked. Mandy is more stand offish. Mainly because Emily likes to lick and Mandy will not tolerate that, and neither do I. Emily is getting better at not trying to lick me.
I'm anxious for Oscar to come and see what getting rid of the french door will cost me. I would like to be able to use that door and to have it open more than a foot. A slider will give me that option. Next year I'll have to replace the washer and dryer combo. I'm hoping to hold off until Lincoln comes down so he can reposition my internet router. Mark has so many wires back there, behind the washer and I have no idea what is what or what is even used anymore. Lincoln would know. He could walk me through it over the phone but I prefer him doing it for me. Then I know for a fact it is all done correctly.
Now I think I'll finish my coffee on the porch. ttfn

Good evening, ladies! DD#1 here with the Grammy update. She is somewhat better today, she has been extremely weak and tired all week, but today we managed to get a shower and she has walked (with her walker) to her bathroom at least three times instead of needing the bedside potty. Yay, Grammy! We also rearranged her chairs so hopefully she will sleep more comfortably. She has stayed awake longer this evening, just now getting tucked in. Oh, she ate a little better today, too. All those things kind of go in a cycle--feels bad, so doesn't eat, so has no energy, so doesn't get up to walk, so loses strength . . . and on it goes. Thank you CJ and JustMe for cards, those made bright spots in her days and I put them up on the shelf above her computer desk right by her power recliner. Hopefully tomorrow she will be up to chatting with you ladies herself since no therapies to wear her out on the weekend! Keep her in your prayer--

Thanks Mamma...for moving the post from Grammy's DD. My prayers continue for her to gain more strength and feeling better. Thanks Linda for keeping us all informed. We do appreciate it and worry when we don't hear anything.

Feeling about the same today, but I did sleep well last night.. I was up a lot to go to the LGR, but I could get back to sleep okay. I just am so weak and tired and have no energy. I feel bad for missing Dawson's party but it can't be helped. I did call him this morning and talked to him.

Elle I never get the dusting done in one day I'm not very ambitious today I feel very lazy & tired. Rain is needed here too

DD#1 again, mom slept the day away today, still very weak and moving s-l-o-w-l-y, but I managed to walk her to the bathroom. She did eat a garden tomato with cottage cheese at lunch and then a whole BLT, again with garden tomato, and an ear of corn for dinner, that should perk her up a bit! She is tucked in for the night now, drinking my special recipe milkshake--ensure blended with frozen fruit and miralax, magic formula! HeeHee. Hope she sleeps after her long nap today.
