Good morning and TGIF! It's seeming like those TGIFs are really close together. It's to be a nice sunny 74* today. I couldn't sleep as I kept thinking about my to-do lists, so here I am. There's coffee and a full dishwasher to unload, but I'll wait til it's a bit lighter. Our field trip went well yesterday and today will be a review and then a math test. I'll also need to get things together for the new student who arrives on Monday. When I talk to Al tonight I'll see if he is wanting to go to the polka mass and fall dinner at the other church on Sunday or to his church. I may go up Saturday night and stay over as I will have company here next weekend. It's up to him. There's a bunch to try to get done here tonight and tomorrow, all stuff I have to get to sooner than later, it'd be nice to dig out my fall decorations too. Anyways, I know it'll be a long day since I decided 4:37 am was a good time to be awake. There is coffee and there are English Muffins and yogurt it the fridge. Hugs to all who need or want one, blessed be everyone.

Good Morning....
Sunny and bright after the fog burned off. Will be another warm day but cooler weather is on the forecast for next week.
I might head to JC Penney's for a quick look. Haven't been there in a while.
Might go see DMIL. DH's visits have been longer in between as the anxiety builds fast when we go there.
Lauriet...I feel the same about how fast the weeks are going.
Not much news...so I'll wish everyone a great day.

Good morning. This is the last nice day for over a week now. We will be back in the 100's starting tomorrow. At least the mornings will be nicer.
The cart is plugged in even though it's not quite that low. But I want to test the new charger before the end of the return time. I also have the sheets in the washer. Not much else on my to do list that I feel like doing today.
Last night I slept good and only woke up at 4 to use the bathroom. Getting out of bed at 6:30 is much better than 6. Mandy is in no rush so why should I be in a rush. Too soon the pet area will be taken over by pets of the birds. I hope no one will want to use the little one like we do.
Jane, I hope you are feeling better this morning and 100% soon.
Grammy, thinking of you and hoping that you are getting better too.
Tomorrow my handyman, Oscar, is coming to look at the french door and give me an estimate to remove it and replace with a slider. Having a slider will make the door much more useable and free up space in the tiny living room. I hope I have enough money in my special account for the job.
CJ, nice of you to visit your MIL. I hope the visit goes well. I can understand how hard it is for your hubby.
IC, you are in for a cool down and we are heating up again. Geesh. Crazy weather.

It's a bright sunny day and like many/most of you, the temps are climbing. We are in desperate need of rain!! It's been over a week since my grass has been cut and it doesn't need it now either. I think my hummingbirds have left me. I haven't seen one for 3 days. This is the earliest they've left, it's usually the first or middle of October before they would leave. I saw a bunny in my back yard and the finch are keeping my bird bath empty with drinking and bathing in it. I have a load of laundry going, the kitchen is clean, and I might vacuum the family room. That can wait until tomorrow. I want to bake some cookies but not sure what kind. Something different would be nice. LOL DD/spouse will be here tonight for/with supper, (brought in from Mexican restaurant) and games.
LAURIE Thank you for the beverage etc.
CJ I remember how hard it was to visit my dad. But I would do it all over again! I know you and your DH are doing your best and that's all you can do. I hope today's visit will bring encouragement to your visit.
ICOOK Why, oh why do we have the "little" sleep nights? LOL It can't be age, can it? LOL I try to tell my self, I can always take a nap and hopefully will sleep better tonight. I feel bad that Christina isn't feeling well again.
MAMMA You've done a lot to your home. I hope it's really feeling like a fit for you now. You've had a lot of changes and challenges. And Mandy is your companion through all of it. She's a keeper!! LOL
GREENBACK I hope you're feeling better each day. It sure makes us appreciate the good days when we are well. Hang in there!!! We miss you.
GRAMMY And we miss you too!!! Our Queen is going through a hard time. One none of us want to go through. I'm thankful for your family and for your determination and attitude. Hang on!!
Time to decide what to make etc. I do think I'll go to the grocery store. Sunday night is Prime timers at church and I need to get some groceries to make corn casserole. The last time, we had a lot of desserts and not as much of the other food. So watch, this time everyone will bring a side dish and we won't have dessert. LOL

Annie vacuumed the floors and I scrubbed. The sheets have been washed, dried and put away, bathroom cleaned as well as the kitchen counters and sink. I think I've done enough for one day. Time for some fun things. hehe
Elle, I don't think this place will ever feel like home. I don't like it no matter what I do. I'm just trying to make it bearable for as long as I am here. There is hardly room to turn around except in the craft room and I don't live in there. This is more of a seasonal cabin than a full time home. I'm still looking for a different place to live. Have a wonderful time with your daughter and her hubby.
Which should be lunch, left over pizza or sloppy joes? Such tough decisions.
Doors and windows still open, too bad there is no breeze this morning. But I have a nice fan now. The ceiling fans don't draw air in from the outside, they just move it from floor to ceiling or ceiling to floor. And it's nice and cool outside yet. Warmer inside.

Most of my left over pizza went into the garbage. I choked down 1 1/2 pieces and that is all I could do. Guess I just wasn't in the mood for left over pizza. hehehe
It's getting too warm in the house so very soon the a/c will go back to ON and the windows and doors will get closed. It's 87 outside and 84 inside. The inside is too warm for me.

I spent thte morning in the ER, I didn't sleep last night, and couldn't breathe and was whizzing and coughing constant. If I hadn't needed a shower so badly, I think I would have called 911. Needed the shower first, and didn't want to take it in the middle of the night in case I needed someone to help me. Had Xrays, breathing treatment, oxygen level was okay. At least the lungs weren't filled. Just resting this afternoon.

Good evening, ladies! DD#1 here with the Grammy update. She is somewhat better today, she has been extremely weak and tired all week, but today we managed to get a shower and she has walked (with her walker) to her bathroom at least three times instead of needing the bedside potty. Yay, Grammy! We also rearranged her chairs so hopefully she will sleep more comfortably. She has stayed awake longer this evening, just now getting tucked in. Oh, she ate a little better today, too. All those things kind of go in a cycle--feels bad, so doesn't eat, so has no energy, so doesn't get up to walk, so loses strength . . . and on it goes. Thank you CJ and JustMe for cards, those made bright spots in her days and I put them up on the shelf above her computer desk right by her power recliner. Hopefully tomorrow she will be up to chatting with you ladies herself since no therapies to wear her out on the weekend! Keep her in your prayer-- Linda
