Good morning all, still early and just a touch of pink in the sky. If you haven't read back yet, read the post from Grammy's DD#1.

Good Morning Ladies. I was sorry to read of Grammys fall and send prayers for her recovery I am still not feeling great but I'm feeling better than I did on Saturday. I called for a Dr. Appointment and can get in this afternoon. I really think I have a sinus infection and don't want it to turn into something worse. My coffee is tasting a little better today. Yesterday I didn't even finish it. I haven't eaten much but am hungry, but nothing sounds good. Take care everyone

Good Morning...
It's a bit cooler out there today. I still enjoyed my coffee on the swing. I'll keep doing that till the weather is too cold or it's snowing...LOL
Thank you Linda for the update on Grammy. We all worry when we don't hear from one of our grannies in a few days. I will send prayers her way for a good recovery and I hope we will hear from her when she is up to posting. Thanks for keeping us posted.
I have a few errands to run this morning...then a load of laundry. I'm still excited...LOL...with my new washer. Can't believe how much cleaner things are with this washer. We are, also, to get our new storm door installed this afternoon. This has been a long long ordeal. We bought the door back in late May, early June. They came to install in early July but the door didn't fit (their measuring guys didn't do their job). The old frame was already torn out, so we haven't been able to open the front door to let light in all summer. We were upgraded to the premium door, which they said will fit. Well, of course the color I wanted was special order. So it just finally came in last week and we are scheduled for today for install. What a rigmarole this has been.
Greenback...hope you start feeling better and the doc has meds to get you well again.
Icook...hope you get the dusting done today or maybe let Christina do it next time she is there.
Lauriet...thanks for bringing it to our attention about Grammy.
Have a great day everyone....

Good morning. My heart hurt when I heard of Grammys fall and her not feeling well. Many prayers going up for a swift and full recovery. I'm so thankful to her DD1 for letting us know.
(((Jane))), praying for your to feel better too. I'm happy to hear that you are going to the doctor to be checked out and get some help.
Y'all be careful, no more falling and no more sickness. I need all of you to be well. Prayers for all of you.
A really nice morning and I have all the doors and windows open to let some fresh inside. I could've walked to the pet area, but I'm lazy.
Last night I was really feeling down. My shoulders and hands can't do some of the things to make my cards with causing a lot of pain. I mentioned it to my dear MN friend and she suggested an electric embossing machine. She has a friend with RA that is thrilled with hers. I can't afford the one that she has though. I had not heard of them so I looked around. I really don't want to spend the money on one. But it was that or lose a bigger investment on a lot of my card tools. So I borrowed money from my emergency fund and ordered one. It will be here on Friday. I'll have a month to see if it will be a good investment. Card making is the only hobby I have and I really enjoy making them. It's either that or sit and get depressed. Which can easily happen.
Dark clothes in the washer and then a quick run with the dust mop. Nothing else planned for the day, unless I get brave and make a WM run. Birds are starting to roll into the area already. Too many people and too much traffic.
I still have some chili left so that will be lunch again today.

Good morning to all. It is summer again here in mid-Missouri, hot and humid. Our AC went back on Friday night. I just got back from my walk and sweat is rolling down my back as I sit here, talk with you and sip some water.
I am so sorry hear that our beloved Grammy took a fall! My prayers are with her and I so appreciate her DD letting us know. I hope Grammy will feel like talking with us again soon and that she is feeling much better today.
Jane, I, too, am glad that you have a doctor's appointment so you can get a diagnosis and possibly some meds to get you on the road to feeling better very soon. Let us know what the doctor says.
CJ, I love my Speed Queen washer and dryer just as much as you. I am so happy with it and am very glad you like yours.
Mama, I hope the new card machine works just perfect for you and is not so taxing on your arms.
Good morning, IC Cook.
I have a load of clothes on the line, I am going out to weed and will be canning what I think might be the last of the tomatoes t his morning. Drew (7th grade, Junior High) has his first basketball game of the season tonight in Iberia so we will be leaving late afternoon to head to that. Mike has painted the front door this morning and picked a few more tomatoes for me. The yard is in that stage where it could be mowed, but doesn't need it in some areas and is looking rather scruffy in others. So much to do; we ran all weekend, but it was all for the grandkids so that is fine.
Yesterday, we celebrated both Amelia and Josie Mae. Amelia was 8 on August 2 and Josie Mae will be 4 tomorrow. They are such a hoot and it is always a good time with them. They got lots of presents, gift cards and money and a fun time was had by all.
Time to get to work or I will not have anything accomplished when it is time to leave. Praying for Jane and Grammy and hoping for better days for both.

This morning I took something out to the shed and noticed an outlet on the north side of the house with black soot all around it. I don’t know when or why it happened, but it scared the life out of me. I called an electrician and am now waiting for someone to call back and cap off the outlet and any others that I don’t use. God saved me once again. It could have taken another home from me and maybe more. The first, my usual, electrician is on vacation so he can’t come but he didn’t feel that it was an emergency anymore since it’s not burning or hot. The outlet would’ve kicked the power off. But said if I was nervous to by all means call someone else. Dave is so nice. I called the company that put in our Mini split since I didn’t know who else to call. This will cost me dearly I’m sure. But better to be safe than sorry.
