Good morning all! It's early, but someone's Cpap mask isn't fitting right and it sounds like Darth Vader in there, so I got up and moved to the living room. Today is meet the teacher, so we go 10:00 til 6:00 with meetings first, then work in the rooms, then open house. More or less ready, still have two days to tweak things. This all happened pretty quickly, so I am going to look over some documents and a few other things this morning before I go in. I got a batch of pickles done last night, but they aren't cool enough to take out of the canner yet, I'll do another tonight. I should've had the guests help? There'll be coffee in a bit, too early as yet. Blessed be.

It's going to be super hot today Heat index of 100* or more. Tinker goes to the vet for her shot this morning Have to get meds. for her too. Christina will be here to take us. I have to hold Tinker while Christina drives Tinker would be all over Christina if I wouldn't hold her.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's morning already but I guess I was glad to get up, after another sleepless night. I tried the pain patches that everyone raves so much about, but they didn't cut it for me. There were some times when I felt it helped for a little while, but for the most part, NO! And for the price of them, I would expect more. Not sure if they kept me from not sleeping, or it was just the shoulder acting up again. Even my chair didn't help. Sure hope I can get some sleep tonight, as tomorrow we are meeting for lunch with the HS friends. The one gal had surgery so we planned to meet last week, a week later than usual, but she wasn't ready yet, so trying tomorrow.
It's only 67 now, put I am hesitant to open up yet - Maybe wait and see how the day goes.
Laurie, is this job at the school you were mostly at last year? This will keep you busy going every day and having to get the lessons prepared. I know the kids in your room will be lucky to have you.
IC, hope the day goes well for You and Tinker.

Good morning.
This morning it was a tad more muggy and warm so we took the cart to Mandy's business meeting. That and the fact that I felt lazy. It is going to be another hot day, like 110º.
Groomer this morning and then into WM to find either a new coffee maker or a pot to fit the one I have. I will also check and see if Dawn has time to give me a haircut. That will take care of my morning. I have a load of laundry in the washer so I'll have those items to fold and put away today too. Then this afternoon I hope to make some Christmas cards. The one I made yesterday was time consuming so I only made the one. I can only look down for so long. I am not mailing out more than 5 or 6 cards this year so I won't need many for me. On Sunday I'll be bringing some of my cards to church. Ladies have asked to see them. Maybe I'll sell some too.

Jane, do you know the cause of your shoulder pain? Arthritis or something else? I can totally understand how that can affect your sleep.

81 already.
I made it to the porch. Probably won't stay
out here long.
Don't know how long the girls will get to stay.
They both have DH's.
Yesterday they cooked chicken, potato salad
and made coleslaw. It was all delicious
Day before they cooked ribeyes for them, and
I had a burger. And Potato patties,
Today we can eat leftovers . I haven't wanted
much.
I am still in a lot of pain esp, when I try to get up
from the bed. Can't lay flat on my back.
Hope all of you are doing well.
We had internet problems all day yesterday.

Carolyn, it sounds like the family is making you some mighty good eats. Enjoy the visit. I'm not moving, the place needed too many repairs, including the roof. I don't need expenses like that.

Up dates on this computer keep me working to find where all the grannies are hiding! Ladies in our bible study group have agreed to meet at my house since it's so hard for me to get out. This was the first time and all went well. One had a sister who died yesterday so lots of sympathy expressed there. She wasn't found till the end of the day.
Laurie hope the move let you sleep a little longer. Pickles sound good! Yumm just me PB and a slice of bread to make a sandwich
Greenback sorry that you are having so much shoulder pain. Is this arthritis or something else. Seems most of the grannies are in pain most of the time!
Mamma hope you find something to make the coffee pot work again!

I am happy to say that WM had the pot for my coffee maker. They no long make my lovely red coffee maker though. But mine is only three years old and I hope it will last a lot longer. Or at least until I can find nice red one that I can afford.
