We had a thunder storm roll through a bit ago. Was very dark. It's now getting brighter but very wet outside.

Had a great time with my friends yesterday. We all needed a girls day out.
I couldn't wait to try out my new washer when I got home. Did one load. I have more going today.
I have Teddy today as his school/daycare is closed for two weeks to get ready for the new school year that starts after Labor Day. Although Teddy could stay home, it's easier for DD to work when he's not there...and now that Penny is in school (she started yesterday in her district), he doesn't have anyone to play with or keep him busy...LOL I will now get to spend one on one time with him. My new day to have him once school starts is Thursdays. The other grand parents aren't going to have him anymore, so he'll go to school on Fridays, too....besides his Monday, Tues, Wed.
I guess he wants to play hot wheels...so off I go until grandpa is done doing what he needs to do.
Greenback...Happy (bittersweet) Anniversary to you.
Debbie...what wash cycle do you tend to use most often?

Good morning.
Oh what a beautiful morning oh what a hot day it will be! Mandy and I took advantage of the nice morning and we walked to the pet area. Mary and Emily came shortly after we got there. Yes, we went to the big area today too. When we got back I watered the cacti out front and the neighbors too.
Not sure when they are coming to get the golf cart but I better be here when they do. I have the things listed that I want done and checked so I don't dare leave. All the garbage has gone down so that is done. No packages coming today so I won't have to go to the office.
Annie got by easy yesterday so today she has to get to work. I need to call the groomer and my stylist. Other than that I don't have much on the to do list.
CJ, it sounds like the other grandparents want more time to do their thing. I get that. Babysitting isn't for everyone.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It was coffee this morning, so just getting here - -- Had a long phone call just as soon as I got home and changed. Then my neighbor came with the mail so we had a good visit. Now, I need to catch up a bit and then I think I will try to catch a little nap -- I was up every hour and a half last night with the shoulder pain.
CJ, before you know it, Teddy won't be coming anymore either - - Those little buggers just grow up so fast! Enjoy each precious moment while you can. How right you are that we all need some girls time! Time and friends each become more precious with time! Nothing better than time spent with friends or family. Happy laundry time.
Mamma, hope your GC will be an easy fix and you will be up and running again soon. Nice to have a good day to walk too! I sure wish I could do some of that. I need a HC as much as Mandy.
Carolyn, hope you are having a good day and enjoying your time with your girls. Very frustrating when the internet isn't working.

Seems to get later an later before I get here! It's a bit frustrating to run on other people's schedule! \ Sone mornings are for shower time others time to get dressed and others it time for breakfast but not at my usual time. This morning I had to wait while the shower doors were taken off and the curtain up. I don't like a shower curtain but had to get one and take the doors off I must say it's easier to get in and out of the shower also safer to do with the curtain and the help I need. Life sure is different when I now need so much help! I just spilled something and had to call for Kathy to clean it up fo r me. This has been a beautiful day the warm temp and gentle breeze were great till time to come in then I was stuck in the chair!!! I had to make several tries before I could get oou of that chair! Poor grammy a chair stuck on her butt!! I couldn't stand up! finally made it back inside and it was lunch time. I thought I would get to the computer then but wring again it was time for lunch, Then it was time to takt a nap. Now here I am
CJ now that you have tried it out hope you like the SQ ! Dids grow up so fast the kids will be old before you know it
Mamma sorry it's too hor you. I could use a. little heat here/ Hope the golf c. gets fixed this time

Grammy I'm late getting here when I have Christina Today was hair cut day
Tinker goes to the vet on Wednesday for her shot & get some meds. for her Christina & I will be taking her.
Going to be a scorcher on Wednesday Temps. in the mid 90's

My golf cart came back home a half hour before Mandy's potty time. AND the biggest greatest part was that they only charged me for pick up and deliver, $45. They did all the things I asked them to do too. The other place I called would have been more like $300. Quite a difference huh? Now to see if they did in fact fix the head lights. I'll know when I hit a bump in the road tonight. But I am super happy right now and so blessed, thankful, and grateful. PLT.
Annie is still sleeping but she is about to get out of bed and to work. She got knocked off her base so needed to be charged this morning. But she is all charged up now. Mandy won't be too happy. I may wait until first thing in the morning just so Mandy can be on the porch while Annie is cleaning. Mandy hates Annie and doesn't know where to hide. I think I'll be kind to Mandy.
My coffee pot got broken today while washing it. So now to find a red programable coffee maker. It costs too much to replace just the pot. The coffee maker is 3 years old and I love it.  When I drop Mandy off at the groomers tomorrow I see if WM has another one and it just isn't showing up on line. Either way I need a new coffee maker. Ha, maybe they will have the pot that goes with the coffee maker and save me $10 or more.
My lunch was good but as usual I couldn't finish it. So I had Mandy help me a little bit. Supper will be a sandwich or cold cereal. Not sure I want a sandwich.
Grammy, I had the kids take the shower door off and put up a shower curtain for the same reason. It is so much safer and easier for me to get in and out with a curtain vs a door. I don't like cleaning doors or tracks either. The curtains I can just throw in the washer, easy peasy. Which reminds me, It's about time they hit the washer along with the rubber bath mat. Yep, it ALL, goes in the machine.
We just hit 111º but there is a nice breeze and low low dew point. So it's tolerable outside. |
