I woke up early today, 7:45 That's really early for me Busy day cleaning & cooking Nasty weather on the way Some heavy rain.

Good Morning...
It's quite gray looking out there. Don't think it will be sunny today. It's also much cooler.
We will be going to the brunch at DMIL's place today. Not sure how that's going to go, but we'll see.
Teddy was fun yesterday...one on one time with him. It will be different this fall when we only have him. He did ask once where Penny was.
Not much news...so I'll wish everyone a great day.............

 Slept in until 6:40 this morning I didn't want to get out of bed then either. Rough night with so many night sweats I had to sleep on the other side of the bed and different night shirts. I finally gave up and slept in the buff. Jammies are still wet too. No idea what brought that on and I hope it never happens again, it was miserable. I got Mandy out quickly and thankful that she was quick too. Now it's english muffin and coffee. As odd as it sounds I don't want a cookie or anything sweet this morning either. Just a butter and peanut butter with an english muffin. 
Church today and then maybe nothing. I should do some dusting and ironing but that remains to be seen.

I hope you are all well. I went to one doctor and facing another Dr. appt. The one surgeon seen me for a hernia. He said I need to get my back fixed first. Oh I hope they can. Now for two weeks I have not sleep good at all. Leaves me tired even though I can't do anything. I managed to put cans of veggies in the crockpot for soup. Had the kids get some cottage cheese. Had some of that for breakfast. I am using my wheelchair and it makes for sore muscles. But I am so scared of falling. Mama sorry I had a bad night. I am not so good but trying to get by. We had a thunder storm last night and hard rain Thankful for my gutters  You all take care. |

Hi all. It looks to be a pretty day, after yet more rain last night. I hung out laundry, so I am tempting fate, but that was the reason for the lines. FIL is getting transferred to another hospital later today, closer that where they'd talked before. FIL's BIL is in that hospital too (stroke) so he'll probably get more visitors there too. Apparently FIL will be starting some kind of dialysis, the Yeti will go over there when he gets there, BIL is going to where he is now for this end of it. Nurse SIL has been and is monitoring everything from FL. I've got my machine out and was requested to patch some shorts for the Yeti and I have laundry to put away. The calendar sure filled up for this week quickly, better get something dome sooner than later. Blessed be everyone!

Good Morning Ladies - - - What a nice morning after having showers, off and on, all day yesterday. I guess it's to warm up and be another hot week - - of course, school is starting, so why not??? I didn't make church today - - I didn't have a very good night and couldn't sleep, even after taking a Tylenol PM - I did get some nice sleep in after 7 but it was almost 10 when I got up then. I am not very steady today, so probably a good thing I didn't go anyway.
IC, that is early for you to be up and about! Have a good day..
IC, Hope the brunch will go well with DMIL - - Nice of them to have that service where you can come and dine with her.
Mamma, what a surprise when you don't want a cookie -- I never liked PB on an EM - - I like it on toast, but it needs to be jelly or jam on a EM! Not a good night for either of us.
Carolyn, you could join Mamma an I with having a bad night -- sure am sorry to hear about how the back continues to give you these issues. What do they think they can do about it, will there be back surgery in your future? Good luck with your appointments.
Laurie, FIL i sure having his problems getting back on his feet. Sounds like this move may be better for everyone, and hope it works out for him. Of course your calendar is filling up, would I expect anything different for you??? You are one busy lady, and always doing for others - - what an example you give!

I've been busy Almost done with the dusting Have stuffed peppers cooking in my crock pot. Dishes to do yet Frying an eggplant & maybe cooking some zucchini
Carolyn I hope you start feeling better soon
Jane Cool temps. coming my way starting Tuesday Only going to 72* I cant turn the AC off.
Mamma I've been getting night sweats every night Change my nightshirt at least once or twice Sometimes I just sleep in boxer shorts.

Well, the brunch is over. The food was very very good but we were the last ones there as DMIL was still in bed when we got there. The aides said she didn't want to get up no matter how much they tried. By time we did get her up and moving around, most all the food was gone. They did try to bring some from the other building, but as soon as they put it out, it was almost gone again. They did require us to reserve our spot, so they should have known how many would be there. Any way, we know the protocol now...so next time we will get there early to make sure she is up. Once we were done eating and went back to her room, she wanted back in her bed and off to la-la-land she went. So we came home.
I've been working on the birthday card for my mom. I think I have it pretty much figured out how I want on it. I just need motivation to do it.
We just had a down pour and now everything is really humid and sticky in here. Looks like the sun might come out.

I have to call to see when my appt is.
Yes I sure dread going but this is the worst
pain I think even worse than my knee,
I never realized when I was up and running
Around just lonely the days are.
My kids live next door but I try my best to
not bother them. My DS fixed me eggs and
toast for breakfast. I had some of my veggies
soup and the leftover chicken.
And honestly my fridge is quite empty.
I have canned goods but nothing just saying
eat me for dinner /))
Thanks Jane and I cook, I am trying to be strong.

Woohoo just one more Sunday of kitchen duty to go. After church Lynda and I went to BK and had the $5 Have it your way meal. Lots of food, one junior whopper, 4 chicken nuggets, 1 small fry and one small drink. Lynda had the bacon cheese burger. Anyway it was a lot of food and we were quite full when we finished eating. We visited until 1:30 and then we both had to go home and tend to our dogs. I just love spending time with Lynda. We have soooo much in common and are so much alike that it's scary. hehehe
Mandy has been out, I have a full tummy so i am going to head to the recliner and hope to get a nap. I'm was so tired in church I could hardly keep my eyes open and I'm still tired. And yes I'm still beading like a rain forest. UGH.

We're getting rain and it's coming down pretty hard. We definitely need it!! My flowers are awful looking and ready to be pitched. :-( ok, I could have done better with tending to them. We had 5 who got baptized at church this a.m. After my lunch, I took a little nap, played on the computer then took a walk in the rain. I had a taco salad for supper. I sure do like "crunchy." LOL Tomorrow is brunch with one of my former patrons. We usually get together a couple times a year or more. Not much more going on here. DD will be calling soon.
I hope everyone will get a nice, restful and peaceful night of sleep and rest.
