Good Sunday morning to all. It’s cloudy, hot and humid here. On our way to church, but not staying for Sunday School so we can get to the McKim reunion on time.
Mike and I are praying for President Trump and for our country especially hard today. God bless America!

Good Morning Ladies - - - I broke down and turned the AC on yesterday around 2:00 PM. It makes me feel so confined when it's on and I know I can't open any doors or windows. It is nice to be comfortable though. I watched the church service on the lawn before I came here. The grass is no place for me to try to go on, but it looked like the usual group that is there most Sundays. It's a lot of extra work to bring things outside and I'm sure they are glad not to have to do it every Sunday.
You are so right, Debbie, it is a sad state of affairs for our country - prayers for former president Trump and for our nation. Enjoy your reunion, and we all know your food will be a big hit, even the cornbread salad!!!! LOL
Carolyn, it takes a few days for the body to recover after over working it. Rest it today.
I hope everyone has an enjoyable day - even if it will be a hot one for most of us. we had another thunder storm last night - the rain just keeps coming.

Good Morning....
Another warm humid day. It looked like rain this morning while I had coffee on the swing. That passed without any drops. Now it's sunny.
Went to see DMIL after supper and it wasn't good. She thought we were coming to get her and take her home. DH said before that he wasn't going over in the evening and then he did. Won't do that again. She knew us but was still very confused.
I'll add my prayers, too, Debbie. I also fear for what the world will be for our grand children.
I have the washer going and have straightened up the kids room/play room.

I took Tinker out a few minutes ago It is VERY muggy here AC is going non stop. Dusting to finish today. Thinking of making a pot of chicken soup. That will feed me for a few days.
I slept good last night Didn't get up till almost 11 Planning on making a pot of chicken soup. I know it's hot out but it's a quick meal.
Our country is in such turmoil Just because you don't like a candidate you don't have to kill them Trump is lucky he is alive. Our country needs lots of prayers.
Jane It has been super hot here I would be lost without the AC

Good morning on this hot and sticky morning in Arizona. Yuck. It must have rained a bit overnight to make it this humid. Even with the breeze it's hard to breath.
The awful weather put me in a mood so I stayed home from church today. My grandma used to tell us that if we didn't go to church we couldn't do anything else. Opps, sorry grandma....I washed the sheets this morning and connected the Roku from in the craft room to the tv in the bedroom. I never watch anything in here anyway. And I thought some days when I feel like just going to bed early I could watch and unwind in bed. I had to program all the apps too. My DIL had it all set up but for some reason none of them worked. OH how I dislike doing that type of thing. But, patting myself on the back, I got it done. I'm sure I'll have to input more apps, but for now, it's good. I use a lot of free streaming apps as well as the ones the Kids have shared with me that they pay for.
The protein shakes are working quite well, as far as satisfying me and helping me feel "more gooder", as my students used to say. LOL I'm sure the more protein I get in the better I'll feel too. The strawberry one is horrible so I'll have to add some flavoring to it to get the other three bottles down without gagging. The cookies and cream one is great. Now I need to work on curtailing my urges to snack on junk food so often.

It's cloudy and we've had some rain. It looks like more to come and I'm hearing the thunder now too. My BIL and SIL are up here from Florida. Her sister passed away and the funeral was yesterday. They went to church with me then we went out to eat. We sat there for 2 hours but we had a lot of catching up to do as we hadn't seen each other since DH passed over 5 years ago.
DEBBIE Enjoy the reunion. I bet there will be a lot of memories and the best of the best food!!
CAROLYN I hope the aches will leave you soon!! It's not fun to hurt.
GREENBACK We was to be in the upper 80's but it's in the upper 70's now. I just turned my a/c up so it won't be kicking in.
CJ I feel so bad for your MIL, DH and family. Such a hard time but you are doing all you can and trying to help her adjust. Hugs!
ICOOK Is the dusting done??? LOL I absolutely hate to dust! I cheat and use a feather duster some times. Is Tinker doing ok since his shot?
MAMMA You're becoming a real techie!! LOL I hope my kids never move far from me as they're my personal Techies. LOL

Elle I'll have the dusting done before the day is over. Tinker has been doing good since her shot. She is usually very red & scratching like crazy by now She's been getting her allergy pill & Christina gives her baths when she needs them.
