Hello-our weather is the same as yesterday, gorgeous! These are the days that make up for crazy cold and snow. The other house went on the realtor's website yesterday, we are going over to finish the last of the garage stuff and then to Ann's place too. The roofer is coming over there and we have to go do some stuff first. He'll text when he is on his way. Book club lunch was fun and today is work in my room again, got a lot done yesterday, need to keep at it. Blessed be everyone!

Out and back quickly this moggy warm morning. Towels in the washer, Mandy down for one of her morning naps, and enjoying my first cup of coffee.
Today I have to make a trip to WM for watermelon. I've been out for a couple weeks and that is not a good thing. hehehe I'll pick up some ice cream and a couple tv dinners too. The rest can be delivered next week sometime, I don't need it all yet. But I NEED watermelon and don't want someone else picking one out for me. It will do the car good to get out on the road. I hardly drive anymore and letting the car sit is not good for it. Especially in this heat.
Nothing else planned for the day. I'll see what I feel like doing later. Probably nothing again. |

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's a nice morning here too - Great way to start the day. My day started earlier than I would have liked again, as I just couldn't lay any longer - I moved to the chair at 6 and stayed there until 7:30ish, but then just got up and tried to move. I've had my toast and muskmelon, (the last of that, too) and coffee then had my shower, so dressed and ready for whatever the day brings - - not expecting much. I need to work on a grocery order - even though I have had pickups the last 2 weeks, I ended up getting things that don't go in the cupboard and it's getting to look kind of bear. I took some garbage and recycling to the garage totes and picked up a bag of sugar cookies that was from what dd had given me, so having a couple of those now. I did little yesterday, as I just wasn't batting on all cylinders, and hurt all over. We had a couple of rain showers and that seems to have moved on now, so feeling better for the most part. I will have to see what I can get into today.
Laurie, great that you can get that house on the market while there is still some summer left. Hope it will move quickly and be an easy sale.
Mamma, hope you get a good watermelon - I need to try some of that - It sure would be refreshing in the heat that is in our forecast.

Good Morning...
It is cooler out there but still very muggy which makes it uncomfortable...so the a/c will stay on. Our rain gauge showed 3.3 inches of rain from Tuesday night through Wed.
Finally DMIL will be seeing an orthopedic Dr next week to find out if she will need surgery on her broken ankle. I think she might be adjusting to the new place but is very bored. We haven't been going over there in the evening. I haven't been there since Monday. So maybe DH will want to go this afternoon, I'm not sure. She usually has PT in the afternoon and then is tired and wants to sleep.
Tomorrow Penny & Teddy will be here. I can't wait. It's been 2 weeks since I've seen them. They will be staying for supper too. I think I'll order pizza since I know both of them like that.
Not much news....so wishing everyone a great day..................

A nice day here, at least the sun is shining as it was very scarce yesterday. But the temp is climbing and it's going to be hot for a few days again. Yesterday I got my hair cut then it was Coffee day. A good day and I was tired last night. Today is game day and that will last all afternoon. I had blood work done this a.m. I'm always glad when that is over.
LAURIE Good vibes that your house sells fast.
MAMMA I haven't had watermelon for a couple of weeks either. The last one I bought wasn't all that good. I might give it another try if/when I grocery shop again.
GREENBACK I hear a lot of people who feel the weather contributes to the pain in their bodies. I hope you'll get a nap in and a full, undisturbed night of sleep. Wouldn't that be nice!!!
CJ I hope the adjustment for your DMIL will be easy on all of you!! I bet Teddy and Penny are just as excited to see you as you are to see them.
Time to get something to eat. It'll be light as there's always plenty and good food at card club!

It is 81 here. Went to the store and post office this morning. Stamps are.68 cents now but the lady said they are going to be .75 cents on July 14. Wow. Glad I don't need many these days. I got my gutters put up yesterday. Sure made me smile. They look good too. There is not much news here. I bought another watermelon. My last one was terrible. Got my Money back for it and strawberries. They were bad also. Managed to spend 52 dollars today but at a different store. Don't know if I got everything, left my list here. Good morning grannies. it's morning afew more minutes! A big chsngr from yesterday, the miserable day is gone! Sunshine, blue sky along with warmer temps.The temps is now 78 and will be in the low 80s this afternoon!! I was cold all day long, today is better.
I just finished breakfast a short time ago and dd is here with my lunch already! It will just have to wait till I want it. I do have a microwave if I want to heat something.
Laurie I hope the house is a quick sale. The last one sold quickly didn't it. Maybe this one will go quickly too
Mamma ahh that first sip of coffee is the very best! Better to choose your own melon so I hope you get a good one! We have been getting the very best melons at Aldi's we will surley miss that store while it is closed for remodeling!
Greenback the melon does sound good on a summer day hope you get a good one! Don't you just hate to get all set to eat a good one then at first taste it's a disappointment. I was up and moving about at 5 this morning! Like you everything hurts no matter where I sleep.
Cj I'm sure you will notice lots of new thing the kids do and say they change so quickly!
Strange things happen here! We just has a little blip in the electric and the TV turns itself on! The only one in the house that does that?? Now if I could just teach it to turn itself off!

Not much happening here today I don't plan on doing anything today & tomorrow Christina comes tomorrow She's going to start on the curtains
CJ I'm sure you miss the kids. Two weeks is a long time I hope your MIL is getting used to her new home.
Elle Weather is nice here today too Tomorrow the heat returns for another week. Delores told me this morning that we had a nasty storm 1:30 this morning I always sleep thru them.
Grammy I'm having my morning coffee even though it's afternoon I'll be eating my lunch soon
Jane I usually get my shower early in the evening Then I put my nightclothes on.
Mamma I'll be getting a piece of watermelon next week They are on sale. That watermelon looks so good.
