Good morning all, guess what? It rained again last night, but it was a nice soft and gentle rain. I see the Nugget is laying out in the rain outside of the dog house, I wonder what goes on in her noggin? But, she has all of the "hair genes" from a Golden Retriever and a Long Haired German Shepherd. Speaking of, the neighbor's guest dog stopped over last night when I was brushing Nim. It's amazing the floof that comes off of her and there will be just as much to brush the next day.
I'm working on a baby shower gift now, made a mistake, time to slow down. I'll leave in a bit to go and get some groceries for Al and take him to a funeral. Then it is back here for-I was told we were going-Bingo as it is FIL's birthday and that is what he wants to do. Please say a prayer for the Yeti's aunt Sylvia as she lost her brother yesterday day, she just lost her husband this spring too. She's a strong lady, but dang....Happy belated birthday to Debbie!
There's coffee, grab a cup and a seam ripper and away we go.....

Good Morning....
It feels much cooler out there this morning compared to yesterday. I hope it warms up some. And it's cloudy and looking like rain. Not suppose to rain, but who knows.
The kids will be here again today. We had a lot of fun yesterday. Teddy is really holding his own when it comes to his sister. He's not a push over anymore...LOL He knows what he wants and isn't going to budge or let her change his mind. I thought we could run through the sprinkler this afternoon, but I don't think that will happen.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's much cooler here too, with wind and light rain. It's just 61 - I had to close the window some as it was to chilly here. I woke up during the night and thought it was stuffy, so turned on the ceiling fan, but by the time I got up, it was too much! I should have a light on too~~
Just got a call from the gas co. and the dryer repair guy is half way between Decorah and here, so should be here before long!
CJ. not much happening here yet either - have fun with the kids and hope it warms up enough that you can get outside this afternoon.
Laurie, how nice to get AL to the funeral today -- He will appreciate the groceries too~ So, bingo is the BD celebration - guess if that is what makes him happy, then it's all good, but I think I could come up with a better choice. HB to him.
It's also Glee's BD - Happy Birthday, Glee, if you happen to peek in today to see if we remember.

Good morning.
Done with our morning outing. Really windy, a bit muggy and already 88ยบ. Another hot one for today. No need to go anywhere today so I'll get some laundry done, change sheets and do a little cleaning. Annie has a lot of work to do.
Rough evening, thinking of the fire, death of two dear friends, and losing Mark made for a really hard time on the nose and eyes. Some days it's just too much for one person. But I will persevere. I always have.
Laurie, good thing you told us it's Friday, just another day of the week for me. Happy Birthday to your FIL. I'm sure he will enjoy Bingo.
CJ, Too bad I can't send some heat to warm your day. Teddy will toughen more all the time. Good for him.
Jane, I do hope that the dryer repair isn't too costly. Mine isn't drying like it used to so I dug around for the manual that Brian and Carol left. The washer/dryer unit is 13 years old as near as I can tell. So is the softener and the dishwasher. I don't care about the dishwasher. I better start saving for all that too. Geesh. With the kind of luck I have it will all go at once.

It's a beautiful day here. It's in the low 70's not cloudy and no sunshine but very comfy outside. I had part of my coffee on the deck and went for a walk. Last evening I was outside and in my back fence was 5 kittens and their mommy. The kitty's scrambled out of the fence and the mommy went to the front, then back again. I haven't seen them since. This makes me furious! I believe someone could have/probably dropped them off. I had put water outside the fence for the rabbits but I believe the kittens/mom have been drinking from it. I will be going to the down town Cabin for coffee this afternoon. There will be just 3 of us. Tonight DD/spouse, DGS will come for games and supper.

CJ Isn't it fun to see the personality coming out in the DGC. Teddy will be a "man's, man. LOL He'll use that to protect his sister in time to come.
GREENBACK Maybe by the time you read this your dryer will be fixed. I hope it won't be anything major. Try to stay warm today.
MAMMA Most of my appliances are getting old too and like you, I'm holding my breath and hoping they don't all go out at once. Hugs to you today!!
Time to think of something to put in my tummy before going to the Cabin.

Christina was here again today I miss her when she's not here. She is the best thing that has happened to me the past three years She ran the sweeper Tomorrow is my turn with dusting.
CJ Beautiful day here too AC is off & some windows & doors open. Tomorrow humidity returns Sunday is supposed to be very humid AC will be back on tomorrow.
Elle It's so nice that your DD & family come over for game night Something to look forward too.

Sorry to be so late when I'm usually one of the early birds. I have just been so tired that all I want to do is sleep! This was food distribution day and I didn't even go there. I just sat here and sept! A beautiful day so spent some time one the patio and some time in here in my chair.
Nothing nothing new going kn in my life just apend most of my time reading and sleeping.
Cj it doesn't take long for the younger kid to learn to push back and make his own space a little larger!
GREEnback seems the appliances wear oumuch faster today. I suppose they do since so many things are disposable. We are having the oven replaced. Its sitting in the garage waiting of someone to install it. Nice that we do have a large counfer top convection oven from our catering time
mamma sounds like it's time to think about some ne appliances then you will be ready to replace as needed.
Elle sad to see how heartless some people can be when disposing of unwanted animals. Hope those kitties find a good home.

I can't complain on the life of my washer & dryer. I had them at the house and moved them here when I came - it will be 19 years in Nov. I know they were not new then, but not real old either, and since I didn't know about the ones that were here, I chose to keep what I had. I think the washer here was pretty new, but not the dryer. I just know I hope they last as long as I need them as I won't be able to get Kenmore again now and I loved all that I had and they served me well. I am not looking forward to have to go to these ones that take forever to do a load. It was an easy fix, so built up lint but mostly he didn't think it alined up as well as it should and moved the washer a bit so he could move the dryer a bit! YAH!

Yeah! Greenback the dryer is working and sounds like an easy fix!! The repairs on the oven were just too costly. Time for a new one

Well, that's certainly not good news, Grammy - - - No sense to put more money into it, so good choice to invest in a new one, but the sad part is that the new one will likely not last as long as the one you are replacing. The life span on anything newly purchased anymore is shorter and shorter.
It's been raining off and on most of the day - - I did get out and it wasn't raining when I picked up my grocery order. Got that in the house, and I think it's going to be frozen pizza for supper. It just seems like a good Friday nite treat!
Ellie hope coffee was a fun time and now the kids will be coming for game night - - A good day for you!!
Mamma, hope you are keeping cool today!
IC, yes, Christina has been a blessing for you in many different ways! How nice that you can spend the time together and she can help you with your chores.
