Good Morning....
It's a much much cooler day today. Only going to be in the lower 70's. And much drier air, too. I need a sweatshirt this morning.
We will have the kids today and tomorrow. The other grandparents decided they were going up north on their day to have the kids. Okay.....well don't know why they couldn't wait till tomorrow...but whatever. This grandma came to the rescue and we will have fun.
DMIL will have another test before she can move into the assisted living. A TB or chest x-ray is required. So that will happen today. DH & his brother are hoping to have her moved in the next couple weeks.
Best get a move on....almost time to go get the kids. Have a great day............

Good morning.
I slept in by 15 minutes this morning, but it was not a good nights sleep. But I'm up, dressed and Mandy has been out. Second cup of coffee is poured and this morning it is a blueberry pop tart. The generic doesn't have blueberry so I have the name brand, which I found is smaller but more money. No more name brand.
This morning I will pick up Karen from WM where she dropping off her car for an oil change. From there we will go into town for breakfast at what is called "The Broken Yolk". I will put gas in the car before I pick her up since the gas gauge is close to half.
CJ, the in-laws seem to go quite often when it is their turn with the kids. Good thing you can take over. Have a fun day.

74 today. We had a welcome rain last night. Thunder too. I am finally getting gutters on my house next week. Have been waiting on these people for two years. They kept saying they would be here but never showed up. So, another opportunity showed up and I am going with them. I am going to make some stir fry today. Guess I will get that done. Hoping all of you have a good day. Stay safe π¦π¦

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's another beautiful morning here today - - It just hit 70, but has been hovering in the upper 60's until now. The sun is shining and the air is fresh and it was another nice night to sleep with an open window.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Debbie! I know your day will be filled with activity, as they all are, but I hope there will be some special things happening today and that your heart will be happy with all of it! Enjoy your special day!!
CJ, I'm thinking the ILaw's probably think they may as well make the trip worthwhile when they head north. I guess that's what retirement is all about, but it is so nice that you and dh can and do step up to the plate and help out extra! I hope your kids realize how lucky they are to have grandparents that do this and how it takes much of their stress away along with helping the budget out! Day care is certainly not cheap these days! Mamma, the broken Yolk sounds like the perfect place to go have breakfast. I hope it will be as good as it sounds! You can have all of the pop tarts! Don't even sound good, and along the same line, I saw a post on the grocery store page when a gal had been getting Fareway waffles and they were out so she got Eggo's and said they were not nearly as good as Fareway's. Carolyn glad to hear that you are getting your new gutters after all of this time. My DN has a gutter business so when we needed new ones, we had him do the replacement. Grammy, I hope you are feeling more stable today - I know how it feels to be worbely and not a good idea to be in the shower then! I hope that all of you are enjoying a day as nice as it is here!

Happy Birthday Debbie....hope you have an awesome day!
The other grandparents have a place on a lake and like to spend as much time as possible up there in the summer. I can understand that, but they could have waited one day to go in my opinion. The kids will be up there all next week for the 4th of July. So they probably figure they will have the grand kids all week. It doesn't matter to me, but I did have plans with my mom today and changed them to Saturday. I'm taking her to the cemetery to put flowers on my dad's grave and others of the family. It's now looking like Saturday could be a rainy day...so it might have to happen Sunday...we'll see.

Hello grannies, it's a beautiful day out there. Warm sunshine, low humidity but it's partly cloudy with a little wind. I was up at the usual time this morning but this is a lazy day for me. I was just taking a shower when it was lunch time. If I was still living alone this would be s jammie day! Then I went outside to soak up some rays and recharge my solar batteries. The sun was so nice after the rainy, gloomy day we had yesterday.
CJ sorry the other GP aren't more considerate of you when making their plans. Some people just don't think of anything other than what they want to do. You will enjoy the time with the kids.
Mamma the Broken Yolk sounds like a good place for breakfast hope it isn't a disappointment.
Carolyn finally new gutters! 2 year wait! Some people don't seem to have much consideration for the customer!
Greenback I vote for Pop Tarts tho I seldom buy them and they don't seem tp get on our shopping list!Sugar cereal is on that list so what's different.
IC Christina sure does have her problems to deal with.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBBIE HAVE A BIG PIECE OE YOUR FAVORITE PIE! wISHING YOU MANY HAPPY DAYS AHEAD OF YOU

It's a weather perfect day in my opinion. It's 78*, low humidity and hardly any breeze. I did do some extra walking this afternoon. I want to take a nap but it's too late now. Anyway, I'm sure I'll survive. LOL Went out for breakfast with a friend this a.m. We always have plenty to talk about and we worked together starting in the mid 70's. We've seen our kids grow up and give us grandchildren. I did some laundry today and a little cleaning. DSIL should be here shortly to cut the grass. It's been 2 weeks but with the heat, the grass didn't need it. I have brownies in the oven...That's about it.

Good afternoon to all. Thank you for the birthday wishes. After a busy day yesterday, I wanted to stay home today, at least until supper time so that is what we have done. I had my usual morning routine of walk, watering flowers, weeding, etc., and I have done all the bathrooms and dust mopped and wet mopped the floors. Also still dealing with the insurance company about Mike's ER visit last year.
We are getting ready to head out to get an early supper and then we are going to the local radio station's debate watch party at a new place called Lakeside Ashland and they will be showing tonight's debate up on the big screen and having booths, vendors, etc. They are also having a best political t-shirt contest and I am thinking Mike's just might win--LOL. My DD#1 told me happy birthday this morning and then said "may I never get so old and boring that I want to go to a political debate on my birthday"! LOL. Just wait, I am fascinated by politics and have been since my career with MO Farm Bureau. I am thinking something must be in the works for celebrating with the girls this weekend, just some vibes I'm getting and texts to DH's phone, etc.
Time to go, thanks again for the birthday greetings and stay cool!

Well we won't be going back to that place again. Don't get me wrong the food was good and the presentation was very appealing. The amount of food wasn't enough for a 3 year old and the price was crazy high. We both left hungry. I've been eating watermelon since I got home. for a $20 breakfast I should have been at least content if not full, not leave hungry and a still empty tummy.
Supper will be early tonight but not sure what I'll have. Right now I could eat a cow. LOL I'll take out some hamburger and figure out what to make later.
Shortly I'll be taking Mandy out and then strip down a bit and cool off. It's 110ΒΊ and the dew point is 61, too high for me. My joints are paying for it too. No more outside until tonight.
Before I left this morning I washed a load of towels. Tomorrow a load of clothes to be washed. I hope I have no place to go tomorrow. It will be nice to not have to go anywhere one day this week. I so like to hibernate. It was nice spending a little time with Karen but she got a phone call and rudely spent 15 minutes on the phone. I take no calls when with friends. But I guess that is just me.
