OH dear at 7 am it is already 86ยบ. Gonna be windy today so I won't be able to pull the sunshades down on the carport.
Church today and I hope to inform Marylee that we will be done with kitchen duties the end of September. I'm also hoping that Lynda will want to go to BK for lunch. I'm hungry for a Whopper meal.
Nothing else planned for the day. Just stay inside where it is cool.
Happy blessed Sunday to all.

Good Morning...
It's a beautiful day here but the hot and humid will be starting tomorrow and last all week. Highs in the 90's. Hope that a/c will work when we turn it on.
I sat on the swing with my coffee this morning enjoying the birds and squirrels. Then I went into the garden to replant my beans. Hope with the hot weather they will come up this time. If not, I'm not doing it again. Then I started pulling weeds and all the vines that grow on the fence around my garden. That Virginia Creeper is such a nuisance. I never can get the roots, so it keeps coming back.
Lauriet...is the snuggle fest still going on at your place?
Nothing going on for Father's Day here. So I'm just gonna grill some hamburgers for DH and me. I have a couple ears of corn, coleslaw and might get some potato salad. I'm going along with him to his mom's, so we'll stop at Walmart on our way back. I can pick some up then if I decide to.
Have a great day...............

Good Morning Ladies - - - Happy Father's Day to all of those in the hood! Not a day of celebration here. It's cooler today than expected, unless that changes. It's 72 now and feels very fresh. It was raining when I went to church, but over with when we came out. Maybe the afternoon will be H & H. I was happy to get to church today as I haven't been there for a couple of weeks. My legs weren't very good, and with the rain, that didn't help, but I made it and stayed upright. It just seems to get harder and harder - but if I could go barefoot, it would help a little - - Guess that wouldn't go over very good! Mamma, glad you are feeling up to going to church today - - I would think a Whooper would be hard for you to eat. It does sound good though. I picked up a 3 piece chicken tenders when I went to KS yesterday, so I can finish that up with a salad today. CJ, sure hope your beans will grow this time. Your potato salad sounds good, even if it's from the store. I have been wanting to make some for awhile now, but haven't. One of these days I will. There is little better than a burger on hte grill.

Good afternoon! It's a beautiful day here but like CJ said, the H&H is coming this week.
Vacation was wonderful but oh am I tired now. Lots of car travel but we saw such interesting things. Went to WV and rode a train. In total it was 4 hours and very scenic, well worth it. From there to KY and we saw the Ark and the Creation. Both were awesome and would highly recommend it to all. From there to northern PA and visited the Kinzua bridge. A railroad bridge that part was destroyed by a tornado some years ago. I walked out to the where the track ended, and it was very high up in the air. That was neat too. Then to NY to donate our money to the casino. Finally, home yesterday. We decided for next year we are going to Maine and stay in one spot. It was a great vacation but too much car traveling time. We are all suffering jet lag today.
The inside of the ark was so massive. I know we didn't see it all. My one sister and I rented a scooter and being crowded we couldn't get into everything. Oh, I guess we could have but I didn't want to run people down. One spot as I was looking at a display and moving, the man's eyes moved. I actually stopped and checked that it was mechanical and not real. Sure looked real. If I knew how to post pictures. I would.
DD#2, DGD, and DSIL were here for a bit. DGD was telling me her wedding details. It's going to be a tearjerker. I'm sure time will fly, and we will be attending soon.
My body is saying 'go rest' as the head is starting to pound. Hope everyone is having a great day.

This morning before church I had a bagel to test and see if I could bite. Nope, it didn't work well. So no Whopper or any kind of burger for me until they fix the front teeth. Tuesday is just a day away. lol My lunch consisted of yogurt and a chocolate chip muffin. Supper will probably be eggs. If I have toast I'll have to cut it up into bite size pieces. Oh well, I won't go hungry.
Mandy and I have made the afternoon potty run. Now to just sit and watch tv and maybe a nap. A nap would be nice. I can remember as a kid a nap felt like a punishment, now it's something special.
