Hi! There is coffee, help yourselves.
Just sitting here, woke up to some geese squawking way too early, I'm sure the Nugget thinks they were talking smack to her. The loons are calling now too. Last night I got most of the rest of the stuff in the ground, some should've been done sooner, oh well-it is what it is, sunshine or rain, feast or famine. There are still some Hosta waiting for me. Now, if you were a trowel-or three-where would you be? Some serious weeding needs to be done yet. I saw a cartoon that said that weeding the the awful cousin of laundry folding, but there was a different words in place of awful. Also, I saw this amazing plant auger that you can attach to a cordless drill, one may just fall in my cart today. Holy cow would things be easier?!?!
I spent some more time up in my space, it's getting there. I did move a shelf up there that I am going to move back to the basement as it's going to work better there. My day starts w/ a dr appt, I need to leave in about an hour, then there are seven stops planned and the farm too, I need to throw some icepacks in the cooler before I go. Some days it feels like the
The Kravitz ladies had a bit of a spa day, they both get snarls easily and I worked on the ones by Nim's collar, it had to be getting tender for her, so scissors it was. The Nugget lost a couple of snarls the same way.
Blessed be everyone!

No idea what happened there, but if I try to fix it it will probably be lost.

Good Morning...
Sunny, bright and warm. Nice morning for the swing.
I watched the squirrel eat the buds off my roses. Now, why is he doing that?? I put peanuts out for him.
Today will be a trip to Costco. I have a short list but who knows what I'll come home with.
Lauriet...I have a couple hosta that need planting too. I think I know where they will go. I often hear the geese and sandhill cranes flying over making their sounds in the morning. I would love to hear the loons.
I think it will be hamburgers on the grill for supper. I haven't come up with anything else yet.
Have a great day.............

Good morning one and all.
Mandy and I ran into Mary and Emily leaving this morning. Just as we got inside the pet area I heard dogs barking and saw that it was the bag lady, her pit and small dog. So Mandy and I quickly left and went up to the tiny area to avoid her dogs and her cigarette. We took a different way home to avoid them heading out. Nice walk though and we got home before they did. Win win this morning. Usually the bag lady goes later in the morning but she must be leaving for the day. Those dogs spend so much time alone, no wonder they bark so much.
Just planning on going to the dollar tree for something to cover the west windows during the excessive heat warning. Not sure it will help but it's worth a try. I've got plenty things to help on the windows now, but more couldn't hurt. No laundry today of any kind. I wonder what I'll do besides the window covers? That won't take all day. But it will do a number on my arms so I'll probably just sit.
CJ, I can't imagine squirrels eating roses, that really blows my mind. I have never seen or heard of that.So sorry.
Laurie, I should spend some time in my space too. Good luck.

Goodmorning grannies. It's a beautiful morning with lots of sunshine and blue sky! No rain in the forecast for today! Temp will be in the 80s today, I have the door open as I sit here with my flannel shirt on.
Laurie no loons here for me to listen to but the Carolina Wren is sounding loud and clear. Just a little bird to have such a big voice! Hope you get all those stops made and have some time to do whatever you enjoy doing. Hope that other house is sold quickly.
CJ be careful at costco things have a way of sneaking into your cart! Love the hosta and I several f them some with huge leaves that are my favorites. Hamburgers on the grill are always a good thing for supper on a warm summer like day!
Mamma good to avoid the dogs that might be trouble! A day to rest your arms is a good idea.
This is game day and my car is still getting repaired. No idea why it kept running but hope they fix it! I might need to see if I can get a ride, one of the ladies passes about 1/2 mile for here. Maybe a ride with her today.

Good Afternoon Ladies - - - Home from coffee - - today I had a 2 egg veggie omelet and toast! Lots of goodies in it. I stopped at our church on the way as it was the polling place for the primary election. I wanted to vote for my neighbor across the street as he is running for reelection as sheriff. I sure hope he wins as he had done a great job and been the sheriff or worked in the dept. for 20 years. When I got home, I called the sleep study people as I received a new new mask and filter in the mail yesterday and they sent the wrong mask. Then I called an electrician as I have been having trouble with the lights in the bathroom and am down to just one light in there, so not very bright and thought I should get it taken care of before I'm in the dark. I just hope I don't need to get a new medicine cabinet as I'm sure there is no place in town to get one anymore. My neighbor lady has been here with the mail, so we had a nice little visit. I should be done with the things that need to be taken care of today and now what ever happens, happens. I don't even need to make anything for my supper tonight as I made tune salad for sandwiches yesterday and there is enough to have another tonight along with the kidney bean salad I made. It was a nice summer meal last night and I'm looking forward to the rerun tonight. Yesterday I went out to the porch for awhile in the late afternoon and was just coming in for the 5:00 news and barely got in when it started to rain and it came down hard, so good timing! Laurie, I hope you get some answers at the Dr. today - hope they check out that GB again, and hope they talk about getting it out of there soon! Good luck with all of your stops today. CJ, AHH - hamburgers on the grill - one of my favorite meals - doesn't get much better than that! Hope you found all you were looking for at Casco today. Mamma, I understand blocking those windows in your desert heat, but it must seem like living in a cave with all of the light blocked out. I'm not sure I could handle that. Grammy, I hope you found a ride to game day - I'm also sure that the lady who is close wouldn't mind picking you up just to enjoy your company! Carolyn, glad your little visitor was over to visit you. I know how you look forward to those visits. Well, this had taken a long time with my intruptions. Someone else has probably came aboard by now.

It's sunny and 85* here. A pretty day but on the warm side. There's also a breeze. I'm not sure if I'll need to water the flowers or not. It's supposed to rain tomorrow. No walking for me yet today and I'm not sure if I will or not. It was Bible study then out to Tim Horton's for lunch. We never get enough talking in. LOL I haven't done much of anything today. I should back the car out of the garage and sweep the garage out but....maybe I will and maybe I won't. LOL Supper will be sweet corn, chicken breast, broccoli salad and watermelon
ICOOK I'm thinking of you on this day of memories you are probably having. Here's a bunch of hugs!!!
LAURIE Many mysterious things happen with our posts.
CJ That little squirrel is a rascal!!! Stop giving it peanuts until it quits eating your roses. Enjoy your shopping time at Cosco.
MAMMA I know you need to keep the heat/sun out of your house when it's so hot outside. My house stays fairly comfortable until late in the afternoon or early evening. I would go bonkers with the darkness all day long. But you gotta do what you gotta do. LOL
GRAMMY I have a sweater in my vehicle and usually take it inside with me, grocery shopping and/or restaurant as it's usually too cold for me to be comfortable. My DD's think I'm crazy but I just smile and say, "just wait, you'll understand some day." Enjoy the heat from the sun!!
CAROLYN I bet I can guess who the little visitor was. Don't they just brighten up the entire day and home!! I hope you get some relief from the pain.
GREENBACK I haven't thought of or had kidney bean salad in years. I do mean years. Mom would make it and I never liked it. But later, I tasted it again and I do like it. We had a restaurant that would serve it with fish and cole slaw and it was very good.

Well I never knew that you could throw out your back just by putting on your shoes. But that's what I did and now my back is in pain. Sadly my cane was in the car so I had to hobble out to the car to retrieve it. I needed to make a trip to the bank but I had to get my back to function before I could do that. After a little stretching and twisting and turning I finally got my back to the point where with the help of my cane I could get to the car and sit up and stand.
Just so y'all don't think I'm closing my self into the darkness. I do leave some windows uncovered because I have a bit of claustrophobia. I don't like all the windows covered I need to see out. So I can see out the patio door just fine from my chair and I have the window on the south by the dining room table with no Styrofoam as well. And you're right you do what you gotta do, so I cover the windows I can and I leave the ones uncovered for me to be able to see out.
Lunch is done, time to do up some dishes, and pull out the heating pad and hope that the muscles in my back will relax and give me better freedom of movement.

Well, I just spent a pleasant afternoon.......NOT! Went to check my online banking and it kept throwing errors at me about my password. I changed it about 5 or 6 times and spent a couple hours with online help to no avail. Finally they said you need to go to a branch office and they can help you. So I did (my branch in my town closed last year). I had to go to another town where there are actually people working in it and you can talk to someone. She worked with me for a half hour and finally said she couldn't do anything either. Said there was a glitch with a small number of people and I must be one of them. She gave me a phone number to call. When I got home I fooled around with it a bit more, changing my password again with the same results. Finally put my regular password back in and it worked. Now I'm afraid it won't work next time I log on. Such frustration and it ruined my whole day. Needless to say my stomach was in knots and I lost my appetite. Good thing DH's buddy called him to meet at the brewery...so he's eating supper there with his friend.
