1 cup mashed bananas 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice 2 teaspoons lemon juice 3-1/2 cups sugar 3 ounces liquid pectin
Place bananas, pineapple, lemon juice and sugar in a large saucepan. Heat and stir constantly as you bring it to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in pectin. Continue to stir and skim for five minutes.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
Makes 4 half pints.
