Good morning to all on the blustery day and add cold to that.
Thought I'd open to say hi and I'll set some fruit on the table. Pineapple canned in coconut water (oh my goodness, so good), bananas, grapes, and oranges. And how about blueberry muffins too. Hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
I'm going with DD and DGD to get her dress for other DGD's wedding. I sure hope the weather is nice for that long week. This is Jordan's wedding. People coming from England, Hawaii, California, Oklahoma, New Jersey and who knows where else. I'm going to travel with DD early in the week and hope to see all the kids and have time to enjoy them all. I need to contact DGS and DGD and see if they want to go with us. We are hopefully going to rent an airbnb. I found a nice one that is close to the wedding venue. Gee, that time is going to go fast. She is getting married on leap year day, a Thursday.
Time for me to go get ready, I guess. Hoping you are all well. Grammy, keep healing. Debbie, hope you and Mike get better fast. And hugs and prayers to all.

Good Morning...
It was 0* when I got up at 7. It's now 3*. Brrr....
It was a busy day of playing yesterday..so I never made it here. Once they were gone, I was too tired to come here...LOL...although I did read last night I saw all the goings on in the GN.
Penny was so surprised to see the doll and we had to change all her outfits. She carried her around most the day so the doll was where we were. Even Teddy liked her. Here's pics of the clothes I got for the doll....

GrammyDebbie...you and Mike sure have had your fill of not feeling well. Hope you can get some rest so it all gets better.

Good morning. A chilly but pleasant 54º this morning. As soon as I got up we went out. It was so dark I thought I had read the alarm clock wrong. I'm not used to getting up and moving that early I guess. It is a bit cloudy so that doesn't help matters any.
The washer is doing it's thing and I'm now having my first cup of coffee and cookies. When the dryer is done I plan on heading out to put gas in the car. I just don't like to leave the house when a dryer is running. When done I may make a pit stop at Frys and get a couple steaks that are on sale. I've not had a good steak in quite awhile. It's about the only meat I like anymore. But I can only buy any if it is a really good sale.
Wanda, I hope y'all have a great time today. It sounds so fun to me. Thanks for the goodies this morning. Mmmmm
CJ, thanks for sharing the pictures of the doll. How cute.

Jane, the kids always see if I need anything and
sometimes they just bring stuff they think I will
use.
I may get to see Elijah today.
It was 5 this morning at 7. Not warming up
until sometime tomorrow. Then not much.
We still have a lot of snow so you know who won't
be getting out.
Thank God, I don't have to get out and that
Is a good thing. And, I love all the conveniences
of home. Don't we all?

Goodmorning grannies, another cold morning 7* whenI looked about 10 am! I thought it was to warm up!! No more snow though. I will prob skip church again tomorrow still not a good time for me to be out in the cold and snow

cleaning girl is busy dusting.I'm trying to teach work is done first then if there is time it can be chat time. DD and all herfamily will be here soon we are having our delayed Christmas get together today.Christmas gets too busy when you are this far away

It was 3* this morning when I got up. It's 13* now and it's sunny. Yesterday the neighbor shoveled my driveway for me. I never asked him, he just showed up. How thoughtful and I so appreciated him. Then, DSIL came later, just showed up, and did the sidewalk for me...Again, I am blessed. DSIL texted earlier saying he is coming to do my driveway as we did get more snow yesterday. I have laundry and cleaning to do to today but it's not a super busy day. I'll just take my time and do what needs to be done.. I did the "spring cleaning" in my main bathroom yesterday. Now I need to stay motivated and get the rest done.
JUSTME What an exciting time!! And I remember all Jordon has been through and I am so amazed and thankful for her...and you and the family!!!! Thanks for the yummy food. The pineapple canned in coconut water sounds wonderful. I don't know if it's around here or not, what brand is it?
CJ It sounds like Penny wore you out!! LOL It's so much fun to see them enjoying the things we once enjoyed. The doll and clothes are beautiful.
MAMMA I hope you find the perfect steak and a great price on it too. Do you tenderize/marinade your steak? Stay warm today.
CAROLYN I hope you get to see Elijah today. I bet he'll be happy to see you. And you will see how much he has grown.
GRAMMY Every young learner needs a "Grammy" to teach them like you're teaching your GGD. Did you sleep well last night and was it in your recliner?

Sun is out today but very cold out. I'm staying inside. Only going out to take Tinker out to go potty & go see Delores She's putting the drops in my eye for me. My normal thing this weekend Cleaning Christina didn't have time to do any when she was here on Thursday We were on the go all day.

Good Morning Ladies - - - I slept in this morning - I was up at 7:00 to go to the LGR, but crawled back in and didn't get out again until 10. It's up to 6 by now, heading into noon. 2 more inches of snow on Tue, so probably won't be going to coffee again, unless they are wrong. I am on the fence about about church tomorrow - normally, I would just stay home since I know what the lot is like, but since I am down to greet, I feel I should try to go, but don't want to put myself in harms way and end up on the ground.
Wanda, it's always so good to see you stop in. Can't believe Jordan's wedding is so close now - it seemed a long time off. I am so very happy for her and I hope you will be posting pictures. If anyone deserves a nice day for her wedding it is her! So I thought the pineapple sounded interesting also. I'm sure it's wonderful combination.
Mamma, the doll is in really good shape for being around so long - love the clothes you chose. I'm sure Penny felt like another little girl came to play with her!
Mamma, you have another busy day planned. Does Happy like the new home? Enjoy your steak. I have some I have had in the freezer for a year now - I guess I should use it up!
Carolyn, hope you get to see Eli and he will be so happy to see you again too. I'm sure you will see lots of changes.
Grammy, I'm sure your company is there now and you are enjoying your meal together. I'm sure there will be some creative dishes to share. Wise choice to stay home again tomorrow.
Ellie, so nice to have your willing helpers - - I know they are most happy to help you when you are good to them as well.
IC, glad you have Delores to help with the drops - I think I got as much outside of my eye as in it when I was doing my own.

OH what a busy morning. Y'all know how it started. After getting the gas tank filled, I just came straight home. I just didn't feel like being by any people this morning. So I quickly put the clothes in the dryer and started on a project of heavy proportions. hehehe I rearranged the front room. There are only two ways to move things in the front room and I needed it changed to the other setting. The way it is now gives the whole area a more open feel but the stupid french door is more of an issue. I keep wanting to call and get it replaced and then think I won't be here long enough anyway, so why bother. Then again, only God knows how long. I've saved up enough money, I think, to cover the cost, but......
It's been mostly cloudy today but a pretty comfortable temperature. I have the doors and windows open and Mandy is so happy to be able to go in and out and in and out..... And I like the fresh air. My nightshirts are still hanging to dry. Not much of a breeze to help with that. It's pretty quiet in the neighborhood for a change. Everyone must be in Mexico. And I am really enjoying the quiet for as long as it will last.
Since I didn't buy a steak I've no idea what I'm having for supper. I'm not really hungry for anything else. I may end up digging out a scrumptious tv dinner. LOL
Elle, no I don't do anything to a steak, just some salt and pepper. I don't like to cover up the flavor, just enhance the flavor.
Grammy I always worked faster when I talked. The faster I talked the faster I worked. LOL
IC, yes, I think it's time to get rid of your car. It's sending you to the poor house with all those repairs. wow

I got a lot accomplished today Most of my dusting is done. Have to finish tomorrow & do some dry swiffing.
Elle Christina is a lot better Still getting physical therapy. If she wasn't better she couldn't have helped me much on Thursday. She rested at the garage when we waited to hear what was wrong with my car now. $1,300 worth of repairs this time. One thing can wait till next year.

ICOOK I'm glad Christina is better and hope she stays healthy. Wow! that is a high repair bill, but we need our vehicles.
MAMMA I really related to your comment about your patio doors, but it's carpet for me. I absolutely hate my FR carpet and in fact, was just scrolling the net. A carpet place here is having a sale this month. But like you, I keep saying, how long will I be here. LOL I'm tempted though and might go looking this week. The carpet is showing signs of wear. Time will tell. I haven't moved furniture since shortly after DH passed. I think moving it around just refreshes the room. But I can't do it myself...
Now the other dilemma, what's for supper? LOL

EllE if I had carpet I wouldn't be able to move the furniture either but I have wood laminate floor so they just slide across the floor quite easily.

I have the laminate in several rooms but the FR is on a slab, and the floor is colder than the other rooms. They're one step up from the FR. The laminate is nice and easy to keep clean. I don't think carpet is all that clean. And there was a time when I had it in every room, including bathroom and kitchen. What in the world was I thinking? LOL It was "the thing" then.
