Good Morning...
Not as cold this morning at 19* but it is snowing lightly.
I was thinking of going shopping, but not sure yet. Yesterday I got my big walking doll out. I got it either late 50's or early 60's. I cleaned it up and she looks pretty good. I've been telling Penny about it. She needs clothes, so thought I'd see what is on clearance at Meijer or maybe even Salvation Army. Penny will be surprised to finally see it tomorrow. I hope I can find some clothes and shoes. I did some research and from what I read, these dolls can wear a size 3 or 4T. I've taken measurements for when I go to the store. I think I'll check with DD, too, if she has some of Penny's old clothes I can look through.
Not much happening yet.....Have a great day. I'll check back later. And, yes, there are still Christmas cookies for anyone that wants some to have with your morning coffee.

Good morning.
Mandy and I have been out and back. As we pulled up two huge black labs, that were not on a leash, met us at the cart. I reminded the lady that all dogs have to be on a leash at all times. I was kind when talking but fuming inside. Her comment was they don't like being on a leash. Some people just don't think rules are for them. Grrrrrrrr Those are the kind of people that come to this park.
Yesterdays rags and towels are in the wash. I forgot that I'll have a few more after I clean wood cabinets. Oh well, there will be more sooner or later. At least the dirty ones are no longer lying on the floor or on the porch.
It is 50º this morning heading to 75º by mid afternoon. The days are getting longer too.

Good morning grannies feels like a heatwave! It's 23* but snow is on the way with the warmer temp. Only an inch or two is all we are to get. Very cloudy this morning no sunshine today.
CJ I remember those big dolls! Can't remember which one had that one. The popular $$ one was Patty Play Pal! We certainly couldn't afford that one so she got a cheaper one and liked it just as much. Penny should like seeing the doll in the doll in some of the things that she can no longer wear.
Mamma make rule and there is always someone who thinks it doesn't mean them!!
Not sure when I will ever get back to ky bed! I have tried it a couple of times and had to get up and move to the chair! Not a bad place to sleep.
No plan to do much of anything today.Just continue to rest my arm. It's much better I can now get my pants up without very much pain.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 5 now and did you notice that there isn't a minus sign in front of it? The sun is shining too!
I had plans to make the bean soup today, but I got a call last night and was asked if I could help audit the church books in preparation for the annual meeting. I was afraid the ham shank wouldn't have time enough to cook before I left, and didn't want to leave it cooking during that time. I have the beans soaking, so will either do it tomorrow, or tonight, depending on when I get home again. Two of the gals on the committee couldn't do it, one was leaving on a trip today and had forgotten about the audit and the other is spending time with her DM at the NH in the end stages of life. I agreed to help the other gal, I worked with her years ago, but then I called her back and asked if she would meet me at the parking lot door to let me in. I would have to park in the street if I went in the door she told me too, and of course, you know how I dread walking in the streets.
CJ, how fun for Penny to get to play with your doll. I have my last doll, the one I got when I was 7, and my DS had it restored some years ago. I just have her in my doll buggy and no one gets to play with it - of course, that would only be Dawson, and he has never looked or asked to get her out.
Mamma, if those lab's are anything like Josey, they would love to play, but not harm a flea. She's big, but not as big as many labs. So no trip to Bath & Body yesterday - - Hope you get your trip in sometime. 75, or even 50 for that matter, sound heavenly!
Grammy, I hope you can get back in bed soon - the chair is good, but nothing like your bed. I'm sure it is much easier not to bump it when you are in the chair. I was in my chair from 2:30 until almost 6. Haven't done that for awhile, but just needed to last night. I have no plans for the day either, other than the audit. My soup plans will change as needed.

While it is still morning I will say hello.
Yes. It was very cold and today much better
even though they say another storm on way,
It helps to open the curtains warmth wise.
And, to see out.
I have 3 bay windows.
I was awake earlier but got back in bed.
Found a
movie to watch but of course fell back to sleep.
I made chili yesterday and soup and cornbread.
Today I am going to use a bag of frozen chicken
And make sweet n sour and rice.
Keep in mind that my kids next door and I share
food a lot.
My groceries are dwindling though as I made the
soup out of canned food. And the chili.
I miss seeing the little baby. Have some great
pictures they send to me. They can't get out and
neither can I. They live about 30 miles from me.
I still have a cough here and there and stopped
up sinus but feel a lot better.

Had fun at Salvation Army going through the toddler clothes. Came home with one dress, two skirts and one long sleeve top that will go with either skirt. Found a pair of shoes that I thought would work, but I can't get her foot into them.
Mamma...there are always those that don't think the rules apply to them. Sad but true.
Grammy...this doll isn't the Patty Playpal that I had asked for. My mom said it was way to much $$$ for them to spend. This one is just as good, well made...has lasted 60 some years. I even saw a picture of mine when I was looking them up online. My mom found the picture she took of me on Christmas morning with her next to me. Glad your arm is finally starting to feel better.
Carolyn...hope you are feeling better and will see the little guy soon.
Greenback...that was nice of you to help out when the others couldn't be there for the audit. Hopefully your soup will get made soon.

A warmer day here with temps in the mid 20's. The air was still cold and we have snow, about 1'-2 inches. They're predicting 3"-5" tonight. I got some cleaning done and got groceries. My streets aren't the best, but the main roads are good, just wet. I made ham and bean soup for supper and it "hit the spot." I have enough for one more meal of it. DD came over on her way home from work. She had placed an order for me and they sent the wrong thing. So we got the return and new one ordered. Tomorrow will be laundry and more cleaning.
CJ It will be fun to see Penny's reaction to the doll and the clothes on it. Maybe you can video it? A very special time.
MAMMA I've also noticed the days are longer and I am thankful for that. I'm looking forward to it staying light until at least 8:00. I'm glad your temps are warming up.
GRAMMY Doesn't it feel good to feel good!!! LOL I'm glad you're finally feeling less pain. I hope it continues.
GREENBACK I don't like walking or driving in ice! I'm glad you have good friends who help you. It definitely helps to keep us safe.
CAROLYN My friend who lives about an hr. from Gatlinburg, texted me a picture of her place and they have about 14" of snow!! I also saw a picture of Gatlinburg on Facebook and they had snow. Crazy weather.
Nothing new or exciting here so wishing all a relaxing evening.
