Good Morning....
Another cold one at 3* again.
The kids won't be coming. DD found out their school will be open today. Usually they follow the public school districts schedule but the kids school decided to be open since they are also a daycare facility. That makes it very hard on some parents to find alternative care. Anyway...we will have them Friday.
The deer was here early this morning. When I got up he was knocking at the bird feeder eating as much of the seed as he could. Once he spotted me and the kitties at the window watching, he took off over the fence and then I saw him prancing down the middle of our street.
Not much happening yet.....have a great day.......

Good morning Mandy and I were up early again today. Not a good idea going to the pet area at that time. It was really busy. Not sure if we need to go earlier or later. Too many larger dogs so we can't share any side of the area. She would get hurt being so much smaller. We ended up going to the little pet area further down, no one goes there. Sadly there isn't much room for her to run. Oh well, in a few months birds will all be gone.
This morning I'll finish ironing the sheers and get them back up. That is all the work I plan on doing today. If Jill doesn't change her mind, we are going to Bath and Body Works today. I don't need much, but am hoping they still have some Christmas sale items that I would use. Just got a text from Jill asking about what time to head there. So I guess she is still wanting to go.

Good morning from the freezer, it is -6*/-17* windchill. I decided to leave this a.m. rather than drive in the dark last night. I'm checking my list to make sure I have what I need. I'll take some out and start the Jeep and repeat. It is a nice sunny day out there, definitely winter in MN, but is actually warming up. I've a few stops to make, so I'll get to that and spend the night at #1's. I was so lucky to get an appt with "my girl" to do a haircut on Thursday. I have to go back through CF, so I messaged her and she did her magic and I'll get in. Knowing her, I'm getting her lunch break, so she's getting white hot chocolate from Cannon Belles-coffee shop near by. I know she likes it. I stopped coloring my hair and maybe she can get rid of some of the extreme ends and do something so it doesn't just hang there. Some mornings I feel like it looks like the old witch from Snow White. My sister was in to see Al yesterday and said he was doing well. I'm so glad that he is feeling better, I do know he wants to go home. Better get myself ready, I need dress shoes, my suitcase to go out, pack up computer and the afghan I may finish, talk to you later from #1's, blessed be.

Debbie sorry to hear that you are not feeling well but still getting a lot done! A lot to be done before the end of the month. So good to hear that dd and dh had a great time with dd memories were made and they last a lifetime. Party time will keep you busy!
CJ lots of deer around here but they don't bother the bird feeders.
Mamma hope you find something good at Bath and Body. A friend gave me peppermint twist handsoap at Christmas time mm smells so good.
I need to war, upmy hands they get so cold they ache. Must be one more thing from the meds. I will use the heating pad for a handwarmer!

Laurie, you are so much colder than us. We are12 degrees up from -2 earlier. Lots of snow. Think they said 9 in. Again I am so thankful for electricity. My house is warm. Not so much at night but I keep it that way. My bed is warm, I warm up the bed with my electric blanket. I also am thankful for all of the windows in this house. I can open curtains and the sun shines in. I made a pot of chili this morning. My grandson likes my chili. I just keep out a bowl for myself. I am going to make some vegetable soup also. They won't eat that. esp . the black beans I use in it. I am finally much better. Took some Mucinex. Just so much sinus drainage Cjay I have not seen the baby. So scared of making him sick. I sure miss him. Debbie, I hope you feel better soon. I have been sick, this is day8. Grammy hope your arm is better soon. Mamma be careful with your little dog around The big ones. My DGSs neighbors little Yorkie was attacked last week from a bigger dog In her back yard. The big dog had the little one in its mouth shaking it n the little one died. The neighbors DH tried to separate them and he got bit and had to be transported to the hospital:(( Jane I thought of you Tuesday, made oatmeal. Sometimes I just need oatmeal Elle, hope all is well your way. ICook, good luck with your surgery. Hope all of you are well. Stay safe n warm. 🥶🥶

It was 4* when I got up this morning and it's 15* now, going to the low 20's*. Tropical heatwave, right?? I woke up a bit early, went to the bathroom and back to bed. It was after 8:00 when I got up and stayed up. I haven't accomplished anything except shower, shampoo and styled my hair and had a bit of breakfast. It's coffee day. A couple of the ladies, sisters, won't be there as their brothers from another state will be visiting them. So our numbers will be down but not the chatting. LOL
CJ I'm sure the parents who use the daycare are thankful it's open. This gives you more time to plan on entertaining Penny and Teddy.
MAMMA You make me feel guilty when I hear how you're doing sheers, etc. I think about it and that makes me tired. LOL An excuse not to do it for me?? LOL
GRAMMY It seems like most things take longer for me too. But, I have more time than money so I guess there's no hurry. I just need to remind myself of that. I'm glad your arm is better even though it's taking time.
ICOOK It seems the floors always need to be cleaned. I don't have as much as I did last year when Kayli was in and out.
CAROLYN My girls don't like beans either so when I made chili, I'd make some without beans for them. My girls are snoopy! LOL

Good Morning Ladies --- Another sunny day and the temp is up too - we are already up to 8, so that's all good. I am going out after lunch time to pick up and order from the store. It's almost 2 weeks now since I got any thing and I ate the last orange this morning - banana's were gone last week already.. I am also getting some potatoes and carrots so I will be making soup again too. Not today, I have some of the leftover tater tot casserole to finish up. I need to go out and dig in the freezer as I think I have a ham shank in there that will be perfect for bean soup. I will look for it and then if I find it, I can soak the beans overnight. CJ, Dawson's school is like that too, with day care also - - They closed last Fri. and had an early out the day before and late start on Monday too. It is hard for working parents, especially like them that have no family near by that can help and not even close friends. They have been able to make things work out, so guess all is good. It helps that both employers realize they do not have back up help. Dawson even went to work with her one Sat. until Daren could leave his and pick him up. Any cookies out? Mamma, hope you find some goodies at B & B. I would guess the Christmas bargains that are worth having are gone or at least very picked over. They usually go quickly. I have enough here to start my own store! Laurie, safe travels for you and I know you will be enjoying that HC! It's good to hear that Al is doing well. Hope you are feeling better too. Grammy, good to see you are making progress and feeling well enough to try the shower and dressing. What a difference that can make for us. Keep those fingers warm - maybe you need gloves, even inside. My feet are cold much of the time - I need to wear slippers, but I only have a basement under 1/4 of the space up here. IC, stay warm and safe too! Carolyn, hope you get to see your baby soon. My DD doesn't like kidney beans so she uses black beans in her chili. I had oatmeal again this morning. Ellie, your morning sounded like a carbon copy of mine, only no coffee for me today - one of the gals called yesterday and said there were 2 of them going out for breakfast if I wanted to join them, but I thanked her for calling but said I would be staying home. Today at least, when I go to the store, I can get in the car in the garage and also get out there too. Sorry to hear your friends won't be joining you, but sometimes a smaller group is nice too. Debbie, hope you get to feeling better, but don't expect it to pass to soon with the pace you are keeping. It's too bad that Mike isn't getting more help from the rest of the family.

Today I cancelled the trip to Bath and Body Works. I had to straighten some things out at the bank and wasn't sure how long it would take. I wanted to go into some other stores since we were in town and Jill didn't want to. So I cancelled the whole thing. I'll go with someone else later.
The sheers are all ironed and back in place, the patio and bedroom curtains are washed, dried and hung. The sunscreen on the kitchen window was so dirty it was driving me nuts. So I took that one off and hosed it down. Well that lead to taking the hose to the front windows and the ones on the craft room. The craft room windows are in front of the car so it got wet and I just had to wash the car then too. And that lead to rinsing off the carport drive. LOL One thing just lead into another.
I wanted to wash down the kitchen cabinets but I had no Murphy's Oil Soap. That is now coming tomorrow with my WM order. I love the fresh clean smell that it leaves behind. So anyway, it looks like I am done for the day.
Later I'll go and check the mail and take Mandy down. I hope there are no other dogs in the pet area so she can stretch her legs. Although I think we will walk to the area under the solar. That would be a good leg stretching walk. Something we both need. After that I can sit and rest for the rest of the day.
