Good Morning....
We got some snow through the night. Looks quite pretty on the trees.
I've been out to fill the bird feeders and put peanuts out for the squirrels. They should be happy now.
Need to go to Kroger for a few things. The kids will be here tomorrow, so need the things I know they like. Maybe we'll be able to go out and play in the snow. Although, if it rains, it will all go away. Another winter storm coming tomorrow afternoon/evening into the weekend. So we'll see how that goes.
Not much happening yet.....have a great day. Coffee is ready with an assortment of cookies. Whatever you favorites are, they are here.

Goodmorning grannies, it's 32* out there but I hear the weekend will bring really cold weather with it.
Nothing much going on here today so this will be very short. My arm is quite painful so I think I'll spend the resting it. Getting dressed and bathroom are the biggest problems just try using the left hand for all those necessary things!

It sure felt good to sleep in this morning. And it's warmer outside when you don't get out there until 7:45. Mandy was all business and didn't even want to run with the two other dogs that were there this morning. Fine with me, then I could get home and have my coffee.
The other day I got a virtual $50 gift certificate from Walmart for being a member of WM+. So I sent in my grocery order early while I still remembered I had the extra money. I've been so forgetful lately.
After my groceries come I need to make a UPS run. Jill has some things also so we will go together. I'll let Annie loose when I get home. Or maybe wait until after we turn the mattress and change the sheets tomorrow. That usually stirs up some dust. Jill said she would help turn the mattress so I'll see when she can help. I'm hoping tomorrow.
Woah, a big jet is flying over and shaking the whole house. The sound is deafening.
Yesterday Mandy got her new sweaters. These are also too big. I don't want to send back a third set, so I did some altering and we will keep them. They are really nice too. It's really hard to fit her body shape and this time there is no cutting under her front legs. Yep, I'm keeping them.
As much as I like sleeping in it sure shortens the morning. My normal is all turned around. But I feel so rested so it's worth it.

While Mandy was eating a treat I could catch her for a picture in one of her 12 new sweaters. All 12 for only $17 and of good quality, they all just run so big no matter the size. It's not the best picture of her, but she doesn't always stand still.Grammy I'm so sorry that your arm is getting worse and not better. I'll pray harder.

Good Morning Ladies - - - I don't think we got anymore snow overnight, even though they were talking about that. Now we are under another winter storm warning for tomorrow night into Sat. Another 5-7 in. with wind and then when it's over, the temp is to bottom out. Guess we are making up for that nice early winter. It will be, what it will be, and the only thing I can do about it, is to stay in and look out! I don't have anything planned for the day, so will just see what I can get myself into. I'm sure I can come up with something. Yesterday it was making the chicken rice soup and reading the paper. Real hard, right??? CJ, yes, get those things that the kids will be looking forward to at Grandma's house! Hope it's warm enough that you can play in the snow. Grammy, resting that arm is a good plan - isn't it amazing how much something can hurt when you don't really know what happened? Reading would be a good plan. Mamma, wow, Mandy is all dressed up. It's really hard for me to wrap my head around a dog needing a sweater in southern AZ., but then we all know that the weather is changing, where ever we are at. My coffee is extra good today too, and I'm sure you are enjoying yours. Nice that Jill will help you turn the mattress. You can help each other with some of those 2 person jobs. IC glad your eye surgery went well and hope the checkup this morning is also good news.
Hope everyone is doing well and that you will all have a good day.

Jane, your soup sounded so good that I thought of making some myself. But my freezer is soooo full now that I need to start eating what is in there. Poor Mandy has such very thin hair, her tummy and under her neck is almost bald. Not only fine hair but not a lot of it, quite thin. So she gets cold easily. And when it's only in the 30s and 50s with the wind, yep it's cold! In the summer she wears a t-shirt to protect her from the intense sun on her thin black fur. As long as she doesn't mind wearing the clothes, I'll keep her protected. I do understand it sounding silly to dress warmly down here. But a desert does get cold in the winter. Not northern states cold but cold none the less. Stay safe my friend.
Our sun has disappeared but no rain showing on the radar. And the wind has really picked up. I had to tie my big wind chime, Big Ben, so he wouldn't get hurt.LOL He was really banging.

Christina took me to the eye Dr. this morning. She said my eye looks good & it is healing A little swollen I should wear the eye shield when I go to bed & no heavy lifting or bending over.
Grammy So sorry to hear that you are in a lot of pain yet.

PTL the sand storm by passed us. But the wind did not. It's just so terribly windy, and a good thing Mandy is on a leash.LOL There will be a lot of us blowing sand off of our porches when this is all done. Wow!
This morning Jill and I got our UPS run done and she got her gallon jugs filled with water too. Then home where it is warm. I was happy that I had her help and I helped her with her water too. Good friends.
Tomorrow Jill and I are going to Frys'. I see that they have butter on sale and I've only got one pound left. Plus WM was out of sugar snap peas, and I really enjoy snacking on them along with my sliced english cucumbers. Much better than what I usually snack. Afterwards she will help me with the mattress.
I've got mock crab for supper with fresh squash and toast. Lunch was a chef salad. Soup would have been a better choice than the salad though.
Time now to grab the dust mop and hit the floors where Annie can't reach.
IC< I'm so happy that your eye is healing well.
Stay safe and warm everyone. I turned the heat up in the house.

Maybe I should quit watching the news - every time it seems to be more snow. Now we are up to get 9-13 between midnight tonight and mid Saturday. Said this would be a storm that would be hard to measure because of the extreme wind. Guess it will be what it will be!

Wow! Greenback, that's not a good thing to look forward to. We're not expecting a lot of snow, but a mixture of rain/snow. For us, the wind will be a factor, up to 50mph. So I'm hoping and praying we don't lose power. Praying for your safety too. Weather sure is unpredictable! Mother Nature is on the warpath. LOL
