Good morning Grannies, sitting here in the dark thinking about snoozing some more. It's 17*, feels like 6* and supposed to have flurries for the next hour or so, but I don't see anything quite yet. It's actually. pretty nice out right now, sunshine would be good though too. I'm waiting to go to the hospital, we are still waiting on a bed in Fargo to do the pacemaker defibulator (sp?). They did order breakfast, which they haven't done the last couple days due to uncertainty of procedure times. So, I'll go over after daylight. I may just snooze more as my brother will be going in again today after his rehab, ironically-cardiac too.
#1 is coming up this weekend, he has a job near here Thursday and then will come here, I need to get the clean laundry off of his bed. I fold big stuff in there, as it is easer.
BBL, blessed be everyone.

Good Morning....
We got our friends to the airport. It's a small airport and very easy to get to. It's about 45 minutes away...depending on traffic and weather conditions. It was a little slick to start but soon got better. We stopped for breakfast after dropping them off.
It's cold and breezy today. Got my moms bed frame taken care of yesterday, although it took way longer than expected. Of course any job (at least for us) never goes smoothly. Anyway...it's done and I hope it makes changing the sheets easier for her.
My calendar is supposed to be delivered today. I sure hope so...the month is almost half over....LOL
Lauriet...hope Al's procedure gets done and all goes well.
Have a great day everyone.....

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 24 and cloudy, but with all the snow on the ground, it appears to be bright out. I didn't go out yesterday and I have no plans of doing it today either. It was snowing or blowing, hard to tell which, all day yesterday. It finally calmed down after dark. Now, they are talking another storm for Friday. O Well, I will just stay tucked in if it happens. My neighbor didn't bring the mail in yesterday, as they didn't clean our drive until after 7 last night, and I don't blame her for not wanting to wade through it all. I'm sure she will come today - it's newspaper day, so that can take up up my afternoon. I took some chicken breast out of the freezer yesterday and thinking I will make soup - don't know how good it will be with just the breast - I think you get better broth with bones. Guess I will see. Laurie, I hope the pacemaker go's well for Al and he will be feeling good again soon. Glad that you and your brother can be there for him. I know you will enjoy having #1 visit again. A mother never has enough visits from the adult kids. CJ, glad you could get your friends to the airport without road difficulties. Breakfast out is a nice bonus. Glad the bed got back together, even if it wasn't an easy fix. Carolyn, sorry to hear the crud got to you also. Maybe if you aren't feeling better, you should stay an extra week. Well, maybe I should go wash the pan that I will make the soup in! Just finished the last soup and its in the sink waiting to be washed. I guess that can happen! LOL

It's coffee at the Cabin day. A cloudy, windy day, temp 36*. The weekend is uncertain yet as far as snow amounts etc. It is what it is and we will survive! LOL Yesterday was Bible study day and when we finished there, several of us went to Tim Hortons. I didn't get home until 2:00. We are a chatty bunch and we'll be just as chatty today. I slept in and haven't accomplished anything so there's always tomorrow.
LAURIE I hope they get Al's procedure done soon and without complications.
CJ I'm glad you had descent travel taking your friends back to the airport. Have you decided if you'll visit them in AZ this summer?
CAROLYN Take it easy, get yourself feeling better. There seems to be so much illness going around again.
GREENBACK I'm glad you have such a good neighbor that brings your mail, takes care of your driveway etc. I know you appreciate them too and are good to them. Take care and be safe. It's good to just stay in and watch from the inside out. LOL
Lunch time then to the Cabin.

Good afternoon. Mandy and I went out earlier this morning. It was only 36º too. I almost froze. hehehe ThenI spent my morning at the shop getting the oil changed on my SmartCar. When done I picked up Jill and we went out for breakfast. Boy did it feel good to do something besides take Mandy out to go potty. We just had a senior breakfast, so I'm still hungry. But I'm trying to cut down on what I eat to gradually get back to a healthier weight. Not dieting but being more careful to not over eat and over snack. Too many Christmas goodies, and they are now all in the freezer.
The wind isn't too bad so I'm going to clean off the porch as best I can. The fresh air will do me good too. I've been a house mouse for a bit too long. Maybe a tootle around the park later too.
Stay safe and warm everyone.

Mamma...our Christmas cookies are going down in amounts. Soon they will all be gone...LOL My friend texted me when they landed in Mesa and she said it was sunny. Didn't mention the temp but she had said it should be in the 60's today.
Icook...glad everything went well with the cataract surgery. I had that done in the fall of 2022 and all went well. I was amazed at how fast it was and how clear I could see.

I just realized we are now getting over 20 minutes more of daylight.
CJ, we got up to 63º today, with little wind and bright sunshine. Mesa is 3 hours from me. They could be warmer.
Wild rice soup for supper. I ate too much and now have a tummy ache. hehehe

I noticed the light longer this evening too, Cindy, and I had chicken rice soup for supper. It turned out very tasty even with just boneless breast.
