Good morning, all! The ground is covered with snow here, but just barely. Mike just left to run into Jeff City to check on his mom's house, get her mail, and get something notarized regarding her estate. I was happy to stay home although I put a couple of things on his list of stops to get at the grocery store. He can go to Aldi's to get them and can get some boxes for packing things up at his mom's house at the same time.
No school here for any of the grandkids, they go to two different school districts and both are cancelled for the day. DD#2 will be working from home and she is laying down a bet that Josie Mae (3 years old) will try to make an appearance in the Zoom meeting she has today. She is hoping the older two will keep her busy. The other three will be left at home with Eli in charge--Trinity said she will pack for her upcoming trip!
Not much news yet this morning so I will just wish all a good day and get busy with balancing my checkbook. I am old fashioned, I still print out the statement and reconcile it that way. Hope Grammy and Al are doing better today.

Good morning.
Okay, who is the wise guy that moved Yuma north? ? It was and is only 36º. I could see my breath when Mandy and I went out. Thankful she was quick again today. High again today of only 58º an I'll be staying inside. I'm not made for cold weather anymore. It's not like I ever was. hehehe
Time to clean the floors again, I sure raise a lot of monster bunnies. And I have a load of white clothes to wash. That is pretty much all I have on my to do list.
Today's lunch will be a chef salad of sorts, and supper could be soup of some kind with half a sandwich. It's too early to decide for sure, but so far that is as much as my brain is awake to handle.
This morning the park owner is calling about the fire we had, two years ago. He said since he is new he found some loose ends. I told him to talk to the insurance company or my lawyer for better information. He didn't seem to hear that so he is calling this morning. I'll not say much, he can look up the file or call like I suggested him to do. Those people would have the information too. I don't want to talk about it.
I better get the laundry started, I have such a busy day. LOL |

Good Morning....
YAY Michigan....GO BLUE! Watched the game last night and it was a good one.
Well, the big snow hasn't materialized. It was supposed to start around 5 am but nothing happening when I got up at 7. It is now snowing but it will turn to rain late morning.
I saw my squirrel in the yard a bit ago and put out some peanuts but he hasn't come to get them yet.
Got my glasses adjusted yesterday and they seem much better so far.
I got my mom a new bed frame, so we'll go over this afternoon and set it up for her. She has a head/foot board and I want to get rid of that footboard. She just can't get the bed made easily with that in the way. I've been there to help her and I can't even get my hand between the mattress and foot board to get the sheet on. It's crazy. So we'll set this new one up for her and hopefully it will be much easier.
Debbie...we've been going to Aldi's lately for some things. DH found that he actually likes some products much better than the name brand or store brands of other stores. You'll have fun with a girls weekend at the Mall of America. Another memory maker.
It's actually looking quite pretty out there with the big flakes.
Time to get some things done and then have lunch before we leave.

Good Morning Ladies - - It isn't snowing right now, or at least I think it is just blowing around, but we have about 5 inches and my computer is giving me a message of heavy snow later. Guess it's not done yet, and then they are talking about another storm for Fri. Crazy times in the weather, as a gal I know from here who winters in Panama City Beach, Fl. showed pictures of a tornado on their street this morning. Their building was okay. And then, we have Mamma freezing in her place in hte sun! What is happening these days?
Debbie, you will be close to my DD when you go to MOA - she lives not to far from it, but never goes there anymore. I remember taking my Mom there when we went up and spent a Christmas with DD and she especially liked the aquarium. I'm sure you will all have a great time and hope the weather will cooperate for your trip.
Mamma, interesting that the park owner wants to bring up the fire after all of this time. Hope it is all settled and you can move on now. Crazy how chilly it is for you down south so far. Inside is a good place to be and just where I plan to spend the day. No school and many other places are closed. I think they are finding out it isn't a profitable day and just encourages some to get out and get in the way of snow removal people.
CJ, congrats on the game last night, of course I didn't watch, not being a football fan.. That will be nice for your Mom to be able to get the bed made easier - you are a good daughter.

Goodmorning grannies if it's morning why is it still so dark?? The temp is 39 and it's raining and the wind is blowing. On the good side of that is Spring is one day closer.
I spent yesterday afternoon in the ER. DD called the Dr's office and they said the waiting room was filled with Covid patients and they would send to ER anyway so just go there. I had x-ray and a doppler neither showed a problem. No blood clots and bones are all ok. So it must b just bruising. It hurts I don't know how I could get such a large bruise and not remember bumping into something. I woke up about 1 AM the arm was hurting enough that I couldn't get back to sleep , I took a sleep aid pill and moved to the chair went to sleep and it waa 9:30 when I woke! That's a looonng time for me to sleep.
DEbbie what a great gift for a 9 yr old! They love Barbie stuff and this will be so special for her birthday and the grannie gets to share it with her. Wonderful memories are being made.
Mamma 36 must really fell cold to you after the hot days you are used to. I think you gave the right answer to the new owner.
CJ some good things at good prices can be found at Aldi's I started taking my dm to one many years ago. Then I began to try a few things for myself and found them to be good. Hope the new bed frame works better for mom.
Time for me to move on to the next thing

Grammy, I'm so sorry to hear your sore arm kept you from a good sleep last night. But I am happy to hear it's not broken or any other serious issues. It is frustrating to have such a sore and not know where it came from. Some days I think I'm losing my mind trying to figure out where a pain or a bruise came from. I sincerely hope your arm will heal sooner than later.
CJ, the lack of footboard will be a blessing for both of you. I wish I at least had a head board. My wall is getting messy looking from my arm/hand getting on the wall. No room for a head board though. 
Jane, you stay inside due to the snow and I'm staying due to the cold temperatures. Climate change is really doing a number all over.
Mandy and I are back home from her "outing". Now for some home made hot chocolate like my mom used to make. I made it yesterday for the cold weather. It was so good yesterday and I know it will be good again today.  Sure is better than the packets, which do in a pinch.

Finally got the bed frame set up. Nothing like everything going wrong. But finally got it all together with her head board...4 hours later. Something so simple turned out not to be.
Snow never really happened today, but we sure did get a lot of rain. Tomorrow morning, early, we take our friends back to the airport. They will be going back to a deep freeze in the Phoenix area.

A rather uneventful day here today - - I didn't go out at all and my neighbor didn't bring the mail in either. I don't blame her for not wanting to wade through the snow to get to it. I did talk to my friend and that's all the talking for today. I finished the broccoli soup for supper and took some chicken breast out to thaw, so will see if I want to do soup tomorrow or something else. Right now, I would say soup, but that could always change.

Nothing more than a load of laundry and some putzing got done today. I should’ve cleaned the floors but as usual I was lazy. Too cold to even go for a tootle today. I just took Many down to go potty, check my mail and came home.
Tomorrow I take the car in for an oil change. Ouch that will sting the pocket book, but as little as I drive it doesn’t need to get done often. Synthetic oil isn't cheap. They need to put air in my tires again too. The temperature changes really are often this year and it affects the tire pressure.
Mid to low 30’s again over night. I hope Mandy is quick again in the morning. I’ll be wearing my winter boots this time. I forgot this morning and my feet got cold on the cold ground.
