Grammy.I have my electric blanket and it is on and heating up. Am I ever glad I ordered a king and not a queen. A queen, which is the size bed that I have, would have been too short on width and length. There is at least a foot on all the way around that has no coils and that part hangs over the sides. If this one heats up well the larger size should work well and my shoulders won’t get so hot since there are no coils up there. If there were two people in the bed, a queen would not have fit the bed. Which is what I find with all queen size blankets. I have all king and they work better than a queen even for just one person.
And then, I noticed I had to do the blanket all over again. I needed to put in on the top sheet NOT the blanket. The blanket should go on top of the electric blanket. Oh my sore back was not happy with the first time, then I had to do it all over again. 😭 I’m such an idiot. Well it heats up quickly at least.
Since my back hurt so badly Mandy and I walked to the pet area, I was hoping it would stretch out the sore muscle. Nope it was no help at all.. But I did get to visit with a nice snowbird. One of the more pleasant ones, which is rare in this park. He is from Canada, born in California, divorced and his dog is a poodle named Wendy. hehehe Wendy was very friendly but didn't want to run with Mandy. Then Elza brought her dog and Mandy ran and ran and is now covered in sand.....again. She loves to run. Looks like I better go and brush her before I sit on the heating pad. Or she will not be sitting on her new blanket or my lap.
