Good Morning....
My this week is flying by...LOL I'm off a day. Tomorrow is the kids day again.
Going to be another rainy day. I'm getting tired of this weather. Although it could be snow and very cold. We are in for a change soon and then it'll be like it's suppose to be.
I'm meeting my mom at Arby's for lunch. Then I'll finish up the calendar I'm making. I finished up September last night...so not too much more to go. Then I'll check it all out and do some tweeks before sending it off to be printed. I didn't have as many nature/vacation pics to use this year as we just didn't go many places.
I have coffee and cookies for those that aren't tired of Christmas cookies...LOL I'm tired of them....so a lot will just stay in the freezer till we are ready for them again.

Cold and breezy this morning, even Mary had on socks with her sandals. LOL We both had our hoods up and hands in our pockets too. All Mandy wanted to do was watch a lady hang clothes on the lines so after she piddled we went home. Snooze you lose. I have no patience for standing and doing nothing.
A load of dark clothes is in the washer and after that stuff is in the dryer I'll make the bed. Then it will be time to pick up some stuff from the floor and let Annie loose on the floors. Once that is done, I'll have to scrub this time. This afternoon I'm going to attempt to put the covers on the golf cart back seat. A major challenge for one person. I may have to call Jill for some help.
CJ, enjoy your lunch with your DM. No snow yet is a good thing. But the crazy weather is causing quite a few colds and flu from what I've heard. |

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 31 and snowing - - I was waiting for the telephone man and there was a knock on the door and it opened and there was my cleaning lady and guy - they could get me on the phone and were worried, so I told them that will hopefully be fixed by the end of today. They have a painting job in a new home construction and wondered if they could put me off until next Thur. She heard the dryer going so wanted to wait and get the sheets out and make my bed up again, but after sitting and chatting awhile, they weren't done yet, so they left to get to work. I will make it up later, after they get dry - Guess I won't need to rush on getting the Christmas stuff packed up now.
I am hoping that the phone issues are on the outside - I know they really charge if it's inside, but what do you do, it's no good this way!!!
CJ, have a good lunch and I completely understand about being mixed up on the week - Now, it will be good to get back to a routine. Enjoy lunch today and then tomorrow I bet that Penny will have lots to tell you about her new things she got for Christmas.
Mamma, when you listed the names that you had suggested to Jill, Ebony was my choice, so was glad that she liked it too.

Jane, we settled on the name Ember for the puppy. It's not good to be without a phone, but you have a cell phone too right?

Goodmorning grannies, another dark wet and gloomy day in this part of the 'hood. Not really raining just enough stuff to keep it damp and miserable out there. Temp is43 going to near 50 later today. I think most of the grannies are craving something else weatherwise. I want sunshine but Justme wants snow!
CJ back to the usual routine sounds good today. Lunch with mom sounds like a good thing for a day like this. I never did a calendar but it sounds like a real challenge to select a few pictures from so many you would like to use. Why would any one get tired of cookies!
Mamma are the seat covers on? Good idea to call for help if you can't do the job alone.
I have started packing up Christmas stuff today. This will take a few days since everything I do now is in slow motion! I tire so qickly...you know how it can be now work 10 minutes rest fo 30 sure makes a big job out of a small one!
A phone call from my oldest and best friends this morning. A nice long chat with lots of fun memories to share. Friends for more than 60 years our dhs were in the army together we met after they came home.
Times up must get back to work

Christina was here We had a lot of running to do today. Saw the nurse practitioner. She gave me the OK for my cataract surgeries. Gassed up the car. Price of gas is down to $2.85 a gallon. I don't use much gas as my car doesn't always get used, so that will last me a month. A trip to the bank & paid my rent for January. We stopped at Wawas & got some soup. It was good.
CJ Weather isn't nice here either I heard the possibility of some winter weather the second week of January. Just in time for my eye surgeries.
Grammy I'm the same as you. I work a few minutes then sit a spell More sitting than working.

Good afternoon, I'm having the same weather many of you are. I went out a short time ago and there's a fine mist coming down. Just enough to make one use the wipers. I went to Joann's and got more fleece material to make another knotted blanket. I love making them and DD would like one. She's in no hurry for it so I won't need to hurry. The second load of laundry is in the dryer, the decorations, all but the tree, are waiting to be put up on the shelf. I guess I'm ready to say goodbye to Christmas 2023 although, it was a very good time with family etc. Lunch was leftovers and I have no idea what supper will be. There's no NYE plans for me and I don't mind at all. I know it'll happen whether I see it, celebrate it or not. And I don't make resolutions either.
CJ Is there a special sandwich you and your DM enjoy at Arby's? I have cookies in my freezer too. I kind of like that so if company comes, I would have something to put out for them.
MAMMA Mandy has a mind of her own. LOL Does she like Ember? I do like the name too.
GREENBACK Is your phone fixed? I haven't had a landline for many years but there are times that I have thought it would be a good idea. You're cleaning people are very considerate to help with putting fresh sheets on the bed. Talking does take a priority at times. LOL
GRAMMY DD#1 is visiting with her DS in Arlington. Is that near you? She's coming home tomorrow. You're so right, I am anxious for sunshine every day. Spring won't come too soon for me. I love the long time friends. One can go for a long time without contact but then reconnect like you're never been apart. Friends!!
The dryer shut off so I'll get the clothes folded and put away then maybe a nap?

ICOOK Good news that you can get your eye surgery. Gas here is $2.59-$2.79. It was down to $2.49 before that. I'd love to see it under $2.00 a gallon. LOL

For as long as we have lived here our gas prices have been a dollar higher than any of you but way less than California. And our price has nothing to do with taxes on it either like Cali.
I've got the seat covers on the back seat of the cart. But all I had was black velcro so it doesn't look so nice where I had to fit it. So I've ordered some white. It should be here in a day or two. I also ordered one for the front seat as well. They are just blankets with slits for the arm rests, not actual covers like I wanted. But at least the vinyl will be protected from the summer sun.
Jill needed some help this morning. She had a meeting that was running late and asked if I would check on Pookie and Ember. Well Ember tipped over the little play pen she was in and was into everything by the time I got there. I just stayed there and petted Pookie and played with Ember until Jill got home. OMG, what a ball of mischief and energy. But it felt good to be needed.
The north wind is COLD but out of the wind the sun feels pretty good. It's only 63ยบ so not all that warm. I'm done with the outside now until Mandy needs to do her thing.
Y'all can keep your rain. It would just make it even more cold down here. I'm ready for summer....warmth and no tourists. 
Who wants to make a bet on whether or not I get the floors cleaned today??? LOL

Good afternoon! The Yeti is off doing his thing, running his taxi service and I am here doing as little as possible. The dishwasher has run and I need to go and empty the dryer and reload the washer. He bought sheets and I need to get them taken care of. Our neighbors will be back this afternoon to get their mail and I have a goodie box gift for them. I told her to let me know when they'd be here as I'd keep the dogs from jumping on them. It's rainy and misty and foggy and all of that right now, so the Kravitz ladies are a bit gooey. It certainly was different not having Suzie here this fall and over Christmas. My aunt's service has been set for Jan. 4th, I did call my uncle last night, he was at his son's so I didn't talk long. I'd promised her to come back after the trip and didn't, I apologized for that. I better move on to the dryer, there's always something to do, just depends if I want to do it or not.
