Wow, I didn't roll out of bed until 7:30 this morning. Not sure if I had a rough night but a bad night sweat had me awake for quite some time. No need for the electric blanket. Then I woke up at 3 and it took me awhile to fall back to sleep, then awake at 6 and decided that was too early. Low and behold the next time I woke up was 7:30. I wish I could sleep in that late every morning.
A mild 55º but windy out there this morning. Looks like a bit of clouds now and then today but the high will be 77º. Tomorrow just as warm.
This morning I'm going to clean the shed, toss and bring some things to the cabinets on the porch. Mark no longer needs it so I'm going to make room for me to store some things from inside the house that I don't use and will work on selling. Tomorrow I'll tackle the cabinets on the porch and put some things in the shed. The stuff will be in totes to keep them clean. I'm not sure I can get all that done in two days, but it's a start. The dusting I can do in the evening instead of sitting and watching tv. Mike won't be too happy that he will not have access to things that can be depleted anymore. I'm not replacing what he uses so I'll move those things to where I want them for when I need them. I told him Mark said he could borrow tools! Eventually I'll be selling them as well. I could use the money and the space in the shed. Most of the tools Mike wouldn't use and I know I won't. I'm tired just thinking of all the work involved. But I'll be careful and take it slowly.

Good Morning....
It's a sunny day with mild temps.
I'm making the last of the cookies, then I'll start plating them. I'll fix a small plate of cookies for DMIL today when we go see her at lunch time.
I didn't sleep good last night and then around 4:30 I felt sick to my stomach...got up and sat in the lazy boy for a while till that passed. Didn't get up till 7:30 which is late for me.
When the cookies are done I'll get a load of laundry going. I would like to make bread too...but not sure I'll get to it. Just depends how I feel.

Good morning, it's a nice sunny day here too! 48* and going to be in the 50's again today. I am not complaining! I also plan to make cookies today. I have a gift to wrap then the gifts I have are all under the tree. I still have a order to get so I hope it's sooner than later. I have a load of laundry to do too but the cleaning is done!
MAMMA Doesn't it feel good to sleep in!! I've been sleeping later too but I don't worry about it. I seldom have morning visitors anyway. I always was working with appointments so even now, I have a hard time getting over that. I am a scheduled person! LOL
CJ Your DMIL will appreciate the cookies. How close do you live to her? I'm sure she's very thankful to have you near her. Enjoy the sunshine today.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's a dark, wet, and gloomy day here at 38. I don't think the rain is to amount to anything other that making it a rainy day - I was up at 7, but thought that was to early to stay up and went back to bed until nine. I have a load in the dryer and and a grocery order placed. Other than picking that up, and both the gals and guys have BB games today, but later, I have nothing planned. I should try to fill the stocking and see if I need to get anything more for that. I wanted to go to the drug store when I picked up Jen's rings yesterday, but knew I was also going to the store, so didn't think I had better try both. My fish and cole slaw was good last night - a treat for a change that I haven't had in some time.
Mamma, sure sounds like a busy day for you, just don't over do. I remember getting rid of DH's tools and stuff in the garage. Of course, there was very little I wanted or knew what to do with, but between Daren, my BIL and a good neighbor, we got it done. They each took a little and I don't remember what happened to the rest, but doesn't matter.
CJ, what's the cookie of the day, today? I'm sure your DMIL will enjoy those you bring and it's good to keep it to a small plate so she doesn't overdo with them. Maybe more a little later.
Hope everyone has a good day - It's a little lighter than it was, but I still have the lights on!

Good Morning Ellie - we hit the door at the same time but both managed to get through it. Seems to be a cookie day here in the hood - - What kind are you making. I maybe get the notion next week and maybe not. I am not worrying about it. Have a good day..

I'm still not feeling good but pushing myself to get some things done. Started the dusting In the process of making chocolate chip cookie dough. Don't know if they'll get baked today. Want to make one more cookie next weekend, Chocolate Bon Bons
Jane Rain coming my way tomorrow. Maybe up to three inches Have to take my ELVIS flag & wreath down again.
Mamma I'm still enjoying your pictures I got up at 9:30 this morning. Never get up at seven unless I have to.

GREENBACK Doesn't it feel good to sleep in! It was almost 8:00 when I woke up. Things that matter will get done and those that don't, oh well, who cares, LOL.
ICOOK Your cold seems to be hanging on. It seems those things don't go away as quickly as they used to.
OK I got another gift wrapped then I really did a stupid thing. I have a fitted cover on my recliner and I put it in the washer. This has 3 pockets that I put the remotes in. You guessed it. I washed them. Well, I had an unused one for Dish so I got that going. The other 2, roku and main TV one wouldn't work. I changed the batteries and put the hair dryer to them. With a little nurturing I did get one working but not the roku. The one isn't 100%, a little testy so I'm hoping it dries more and works for me. Wish me luck. Anyway, I'm behind getting the cookies started because I was trying to get them working. I have one load in the dryer and another to put in the washer and dryer.

This day is moving on with me standing still! The is trying to shine but the clouds are winning just a little weak sunshine peeking out. It's 51* rain heading this wary for tomorrow then the cool down. That's the weather report from the little farm!
I was another grannie that stayed in bed this morning? That seldom happens, it was 7:30 for me also! That's late for me to be in bed, I'm usually up around 6:00. DD#2 called and I spent a long time talking to her so the morning was gone and it was time for lunch.
Not much going on here today. DD foun liver in the freezer as she was cleaning it to get ready for 1/2 a beef that will be here next week. She did save some for me the dog and cats will be well fed for awhile. I had liver with onions for lunch.Yummy, yum. I'm the only one here who likes it so it's never on the menu unless they are all gone and I fix it for me.
Mamma go easy with the shed cleaning that can be a big job. I remember all the tools dh had to have for his work plus lots of other ones too. Some things that had belonged to his grandfather! A few of those are hanging on a wall with the family history. just try to remember that it doesn't all have to be done in a day.
CJ oohhh,an upset tummy hope it's all better now. There's too much to do this is no time time to be sick!
Greenback no rain here till tomorrow just the clouds sucking all the energy from my body!! Hope you found that stocking filled to overflowing and nothing else to buy. The fish and cole slaw sound like a good choice! Of course I like most food, some is just better than other!
Elle sounds like you will soon be ready for Christmas. Such good feeling when the house is clean and the shopping all done. Very little shopping of cleaning on my list now.

Oh NO< Elle!! So sorry to hear that you washed your remotes. I hope that once dried well, all will work again. Make sure the batteries are out of the remotes as they are drying. I'd be lost without my Roku.
Jane, I really wish I liked fish. It's so good for a person. I'm happy that you enjoyed your meal.
IC, I'm so sorry that you still aren't feeling well. When I post a picture I'm thinking, "I hope IC likes this one too".  hehehe
CJ, I hope by now you are feeling a lot better.
The wind is just too cold to be outside for too long. I did make some progress in tossing some things in and by the shed. Lincoln is not happy that I'm taking away the use of tools from Mike. Mike still have the option of taking what he thinks he will need, but I am selling the rest. No more use of my shed. Mike has a huge new shed he can put stuff in. My shed is a punny old dilapidated aluminum shed. But it's all I have and need storage for me not Mike, no matter how good a friend. My hot water heater is in there, as well as a work bench and some rickety shelves and Marks big tool box (which will be sold). There is no room for anything else at this time. Maybe once it warms up I can start work on the porch cabinets. They are a mixed up mess. I had plans on organizing them last year, but not a good year.
Lunch was a bowl of Strawberry Special K cereal. Not the best lunch but at least I got milk into a meal.
I have to remake my bed. The material that the electric blanket is made of is slippery and nothing stays tucked in the foot of the bed. Grrrrrr, not making me very happy.

Still not feeling very good. Laying low for now. Just finished a cup of tea and watching the MI State basketball game.
I got the cookies made....Raspberry Cheesecake cookies. The recipe is from a friend that used to own a restaurant and always had these there. I make mine smaller. They are really good.
DMIL really shouldn't have a lot of sweets as she is diabetic, but she seems to eat more sweets as of late. I didn't go with DH to see her today, but I told him to tell her not to eat them all at once...LOL She lives about 6-7 miles from us and my mom lives about 12-15 miles from us.
DD sent me videos from the kids Christmas party yesterday. It was so cute watching Teddy do the things he learned when singing the songs. Of course his version of Jingle Bells is......."Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells....." Those are the only two words he was singing. He was doing all the movement though. And Penny looked so cute singing and acting out the parts. Next year she will be in Kindergarten.
I'm a morning person..always have been. So sleeping anywhere near 8 is too late for me...LOL I'm usually up at 6:30.
Elle...oh no...hope you can get those remotes to work again.
Greenback...you have me hungry for fish now. I love fish fixed any way.
Icook...sorry to hear you are still under the weather. Seems it's been hanging on for quite a while.
Grammy....eewww...not a fan of Liver. My dad liked it but he was the only one. Did Kathy get the aprons done?
Mamma...hope you can get the tools sorted and Mike takes what he wants. Then you can have the shed all to yourself.
I printed out a guide of what setting to use on my mixer for different things. I'm always wondering what to use, so now I have a handy guide when in doubt. The bread will get made tomorrow...I'm done for today.

CJ Seems we're both under the weather Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I think most of my problem is my sinuses They are draining constantly That's where all the mucus is coming from.
Elle Don't you just hate it when crazy things happen to us. We all do it Doesn't make us feel any better when it happens.

The two cabinets on the porch are all washed out, organized and a lot of stuff tossed. I’ve got one cabinet that is primarily stuff to be sold, once that is done I’ll have room for some of the things piled in the house.. I didn’t make much headway in the shed. I just don’t know where to start. Maybe I’ll just say the heck with it and let it be someone else’s problem down the road. I really would like it cleared out though. The shed itself is in terrible condition but it houses my hot water heater.
The wind has been terrible today so I really didn’t want to be outside. But I’m so pleased with what I did get accomplished in the cabinets. I even moved around the tables on the porch. I tossed the plastic shelf that was out there. It served no purpose, was filthy and stained, so out it went. There were two coolers outside the shed that had stuff in it that was never used and would never be used so I hauled them out too. There is still more junk back there yet and on the other side of the back of the house. Some of it I can’t lift so will have to do a little from those totes at a time. Everything in them is ruined from rain. The stuff had no value anyway. Just stuff Mark didn’t know what to do with. My loving packrat. My new golf cart really came in handy for hauling. The fold down back seat worked great for hauling all of the junk. My other cart would not have been able to do that. And I wouldn’t want that stuff in my car.
Jill took off for urgent care again today. She said she is still really bad and not getting better, just worse. Whatever is wrong, I’ve no idea. I’ve not heard from her since she left her place. She doesn’t eat well, dress well and is always run down. She listens to no one or at least not me. I just hope it’s nothing serious with her.
Early supper tonight, sloppy joes, baked beans and of course cookies.
