Good Morning...
It's a nice sunny start to the day and will be warming up to near 50 today.
I got my cookies made for church and will take them there this morning. Also, still need to pack the boxes. I'm not sure I'll have a box for one of the packages...so might have to go hunting for one. I bought a couple more things to put in one and now I'm not sure I should have as it won't fit in the priority mail box I have.
We picked our friends up at the airport without any problems. Only thing we don't like is driving in the dark but we made it. I'll be seeing my friend on Monday as that will be lunch and game day at one of the others house.
My fluffy tailed squirrel has been here waiting for his/her peanuts. Sometimes it will tap on the glass to get my attention...LOL
Coffee is ready....come help yourselves. Have a great day..........

Well once again it paid to complain. The pet area finally got cleaned/raked, now to get it sanitized. If it is not cleaned at the very least once a week, I will complain again and again. I also mentioned that an email informing residents about happenings in the park is much more helpful than a note on the mailroom door. I'm not the only one that doesn't go to the mailroom several times a day. Not sure that will materialize though. The new manager is clueless when it comes to an RV park. We were told she managed an RV park but at the meeting she said a 55 and older apartment. Big big difference.
Not quite as chilly this morning but Mandy was quick. We were the only ones there too. For some reason she felt that she needed to protect me, from what I've no idea. But she stayed right by me and leaned on my legs. Maybe some noice scared her, who knows. She really has been clingy lately. And I'm not complaining, I like the cuddles or whatever you call what she does. hehehe
All done with the cookies. I shard a picture of my cookie tray last night on yesterdays thread. It feels good to be all done and enjoying the fruits of my labor this morning with my coffee.
Today the tech is coming to put in the new oven sensor and two new burners. It worked kind of ok while making the cookies. The heat was very uneven but at least the temp didn't fluctuate as much as it has in the past.
Today is a day of rest, doing what I want to do or nothing at all. I've earned it. |

Goodmorning grannies,we might get some sunshine today and a little warm up for a few days.Yesterday I was complaining about nothing to do. Would you believe that was the day I was asked if Kathy could read to me for about 30 minutes each day. She usually reads ok but I will need to watch and see that she is reading the right words or needs some help. Today is also sewing time with her,
CJ looks like a bigger box or take something out! Can't do that it's Christmas so find a bigger box or you could fill another one.
Mamma sounds like you might have taken your concerns to the right place. Hope they get taken care of quickly.Other things are getting repaired too. Things are going your way!
Another trip to the Dr today. I seem to have another UTI this last one was in early Sept. This is too soon!

Grammy, so sorry to hear of another UTI. {{{HUGS}}} I take a large dosage capsule of cranberry every day and have not had a UTI in I can't remember when. I used to have a standing scipt for the infection, I had it so often. How nice to have story time. I also hope that the sewing is going well yet. Those aprons for Christmas will be so nice to receive.
Well I've sat here long enough to get a butt ache. LOL time to get up and move around....like to the recliner.

Good Morning Ladies - - - I was a late riser this morning. Guess I was catching up from my sleepless night. Good to see sunshine again this morning and up to 45 already. I think I will go out this afternoon and change the letters on my garage door that I had the cleaning guy do last week. They are to high to my notion. My Dr. appt. went fine yesterday - - my heart rate was down some and BP up some, so she was happy, and said to keep on with things for another month and we will see how things are then.
CJ, hope you can rearrange things and get everything in the box. What do you have going at your church that you needed the cookies for?
Mamma, nice to have the dog park cleaned up and hope it will stay clean and inviting for the pups. Which of the cookies was the receipe from Blue Spruce? Maybe the ones on the left end??? They all looked good, and I would be happy to have coffee with you anytime.
Grammy, I think everyone knows what a calming effect you have on Kathy and what a wonderful teacher you are for her. Had a good time together. Sorry to hear about the UTI. I have never had one, or at least I have never been to the Dr. for one. Hope it can continue that way.

Jane, the cookies from BlueSpruce recipe are in a mini muffin form and also second from the end on your left. I made some as cookies and some as mini muffins. Good to hear your good news from the doctor. Keep up the good work.
This morning I got a call from my insurance agent to come down and sign for the new home insurance company. She does a good job of staying on top of things. The other company dropped mobile homes so on the 14th I would've had no more home owners ins. But I'm now covered with a new company. Great news for me but they don't do monthly only 3, 5 or 6 month installments. Oh well, I'll learn to deal with it. I took the three month.
Just some yogurt and two cookies for lunch. I didn't want to be in the middle of lunch when the tech came. I did make some Swedish meatballs for my supper tonight. First nice meal I've made for myself in awhile. I'm not real fond of meatballs, a texture thing, but for some strange reason I was hungry for them. It must be Mark putting in his order, he loved them. I'll also have cooked potatoes and some peas. Pear sauce for dessert. Not too bad for someone who no longer likes to cook.

have been to Walmart and the bank n the
Credit union. My son drove me.
He didn't have the baby today
We ate lunch at Red Lonstwr,
Hope everyone is good
Need to run up to the dollar store
Hope they h have what I couldn't get at Walmart

Greenback...every year our church does Journey with Jesus. It's a live interactive nativity walk of Jesus' birth and the journey Mary and Joseph took. There are real animals, including a camel. It's well received by the community and beyond. It runs for two days. At the end there is cookies and drinks. So the congregation is asked to provide cookies. Most years it's snowy and cold but this year it will be mild, around 50. That might bring out more people.

CJ, what an interesting and I'm sure moving presentation. I'm sure you will have a good crowd, or at least I hope you do.
I did get out and moved the letters that I have on the garage door down. He had the top row high enough that I had to really reach to get them down. I also got a load of laundry out of the dryer and put away and read yesterdays paper than I just glanced through yesterday. Now another BB game to watch at 6:30.
