It will be a care ride to the pet area this morning. At 45º I'm not walking. That is too cold for me. Today sounds like it will be a bit windy, as seems to be the norm, and 72º.
I woke up at 5:40, or should I say my bladder woke me up. But I just couldn't crawl out of my warm bed, so I laid there until 6. It makes for a very long day when I wake up that blasted early. And my days seem to be long enough as it is.
The roll out cookie dough is sitting on the counter. I'll start on them today, but the dough has to get to room temperature first. And my golf cart should be here this morning and I know Mandy and I will want to go for a tootle then. That and cookies are all that is on my agenda for today.
Debbie rough days ahead for you and your family and I will keep y'all in my prayers to get through them all with Gods comfort. |

Good Morning...
Debbie.....I'm so sorry to hear about Mike's mother. She was a joy in all of your lives Prayers going out to all your family.
No snow or rain today and the temps will start warming some. I'm thinking I should go shopping today, but not sure I will. If I don't, I need to make cookies for a church event next week.
My tree is up and it will stay up as long as the cats don't bother it...LOL They never have bothered with it, so, unless one happens to jump on the table it's on, it should be okay.
Not much happening yet....Have a great day.............

Good morning grannies, it's a cold morning with the temp in the 20s but warmer this afternoon. The temp will make it to the 40s as we have a few days of warmer weather.
Mamma, hope the golf cart gets there today. What a disappointment to have to wait another day. I wish people wouldn't promise what they can't do. Cooking baking sounds good so glad good things are happening for you. Enjoy the tootle time with Mandy.
Nothing much happening here just the same ole stuff. I remember the days we always had some news to share!

It's now 36* and was 22* when I got up around 8:00. The sun is shining but I'm sure it's cold out there. I need to get the mail so I'll be finding out just how cold in a few minutes. I didn't go to prayer meeting yesterday and I'm not going to the Cabin for coffee today either. I'm still blowing my nose and coughing and think it best I just stay in again today. The tree still isn't up, I need to call DGD and see when they might be available.
MAMMA I hope you and Mandy will be able to breeze along in your newer GC today. I agree, days can be very long especially with it being dark after 5:00.
CJ What kind of cookies will you make for the church event? You're giving your new mixer a good work out.
JUSTME Good afternoon, are you ready for Christmas? Shopping, gifts wrapped/bagged, food bought? LOL I bet you are. Oh, are the decorations up?
ICOOK I won't be doing much today either. It seems I do less and less and I don't like it! LOL
GRAMMY The days of remembering things to report seem to be fewer. But, I still enjoy reading what each grannie has going on in their lives. What are you reading on Kindle?
Time to get the mail.

It’s 10:15 and my cart just got here. And it’s too darn cold to leave the house. It's only 57º. The delivery guy was kind enough to put the charger on the porch where I wanted it. There is no way I can lift that two ton boat anchor. Later I will see how to get the cord to reach the cart and the plug in, if it is even possible. It just can’t sit in the rain. If it doesn’t reach I’ll have to have someone move it for me.

The roll out cookies are done. There will be no frosted ones this year because I had all to do to get the sugar sprinkles on the cookies. I just went with colored sugar and such. Sad, because I like the frosted ones. Oh well, they will still taste mighty good. NOT today, but the next ones will be the cinnamon roll cookies.
I'm so done for today, well I still have the dishes from baking to do. But other than that my arms and back are done.
Mandy is really in a funk. Last night she didn't mooch when I ate supper or when I ate lunch today. She didn't get up with me this morning, I had to wake her to go out to go potty. Just not her usual happy self.  Maybe once it warms up and we go for a ride she will perk up. I surely do hope so.
Now I'm going to rest my back for a bit, then take Mandy out. I'm so tired that I may just fall asleep in my chair.  The dishes will get done later than sooner.

Debbie, my heart goes out to you and Mike . I know it's a hard time for you now you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry, I am just now posting but I don't know where my time goes. It gets dark so fast. I barely get turned around good. I did wrap some things to send to my three girls. Will send those Friday when I go out. I will need to get a few more groceries and also mail their stuff and take back a return to Ryka shoes.
I will try to get here earlier, but just wanted to say hello to everybody. Talk to you tomorrow.🦋🦋

Good Evening Ladies - - - Just a quick stop to say hello and that I haven't had internet for a couple of days, so couldn't come and gather with my friends - - - Miss you all when that happens.
Debbie my heart is so sorry for all of you in your family and I'm sure your DMIL had many friends as well. Your post on FB was the first thing I saw when I checked to see if I had the connection again. I know your family has many lovely quilts from her and equally many memories. Such a shock, but what a wonderful way for her to go so quickly.
My neighbor came over and solved my problem for me and connected me to the outside world again. They were gone to their other condo and came home last night but I wasn't expecting them until today. I had a hair cut this afternoon and picked up a script and then went to the $$Tree and needed some cards and got a few little stocking stuffers for Dawson. Now, what to get for the big kids stockings.
Mamma, congrats on your new ride - I hope it will be the answer to your needs.
I will try to catch up with everyone tomorrow, but just wanted you to know that I hadn't went away mad - just mad I couldn't get here!

Welcome back Jane. So nice to have a neighbor that can get you back to the world wide web, and especially us.
It was so nice to be able to tootle around the park and not worry about the cart. Mandy and I went for a ride this afternoon and again after supper. Tomorrow morning when we get back I'll have to plug the cart into the charger. Why they didn't charge it before delivery upset me a tad. I hope that the cords will reach the cart and outlet from where the delivery guy set my charger. It will be close!!
Elle, I too look forward to reading what everyone is up to. Even if it seems boring to them I find it interesting.
The dishwasher is running, I hope it doesn't go far, and I have a couple things to hand wash. Other than that I'm just going to relax some more and watch Blue Bloods the rest of the evening.
