Good morning all. I'm just going to open the door and sit the coffee out. It was a busy weekend, got to do what I had planned and also squeezed in a visit with my aunt. I'll be back after school. Blessed be.

Good morning
Not quite as cold this morning as yesterday. But there is wind, again. So we were bundled as it will be for quite sometime now. A windy 70º ahead.
I've no idea when the lady will be coming to get the golf cart. But I have the keys and charger sitting by the door waiting. I'll take it one more time this morning to mail some cards. The cart was a little cold blooded this morning but ran good after the first run to the pet area. She does know of the carts attitude, I couldn't lie. Her friends husband said that he works on carts for the Canadians when they come down and the carts don't run from sitting all summer. And he wasn't concerned with the attitude of the cart.
Some time today I do need to let Annie loose on the floors. That is pretty much all I have planned unless I can get to Cars and Carts before they close. I don't want to be without a cart for too long.
One more cup of coffee and then I'l get to my morning tasks. Maybe one more cookie too. LOL

Good Morning Ladies - - - Sitting her with my robe again and enjoying my coffee. I think it's to start warming up again, if not today, tomorrow. I will hit the shower after a bit as we are going out for lunch today.. It will be the YaYa group that use to find it easy to get together and now that we are retired, it gets harder and harder - - We are all retired now except one, she's part time and will retire fully on Dec. 20th.
I had good plans of starting to wrap gifts yesterday, and that didn't happen. All of a sudden, I felt the need to hit my chair and rest my eyes - - - then later, the phone got busy and I was tied up with that for about 2 hours. One call was to ask me to line up 18 doz. cookies and workers to serve coffee and cookies after the Ecumenical concert. We will be doing this in place of serving a funeral dinner, so I think it's a win win as it will be much easier than a meal! Lucky us. So now I need to get busy and make some calls as well. I do the calling, since I am not much help in the kitchen.
Not much happening here this early so don't have much to share - -- Hope you all have a nice day. It's sunny and just 16 here!

Goodmorning grannies, it's another cold and cloudy morning with the temp still at 30 and staying in the 30s today!
I didn't make it here yesterday. I had a hard time staying awake for church, the sermon was a good one but I was so sleepy. After lunch I slept for about 2 hrs! Too much Thanksgiving and it sure takes a few days to get rested. Today is better not much on my list for today.
Laurie, thanks for coffee!
Mamma hope the golf cart sale goes as planned with no delays and you find a better one.
Greenback hope your calls are successful and you get lots of goodies lined up quickly
We have a new puzzle to do before Christmas.Santa in his workshop. I started it yesterday and managed to find a few pcs. DSIl is working on it now I have to take frequent breaks since the chair isn't the right height for me I have to stand while I work. MEN! DSIL complains the whole time he works about the difficulty of the puzzle. I think he just want's to prove that the he can accomplish the impossible!!! Sounds just like dh did when I asked him to build something Telling me it can't be done then doing it so he could show me how good he was !

Don't plan on doing much today. I do enough on weekends. Running the sweeper in my bedroom & cleaning the bathtub. Have some clothes to put away.
Cold & windy weather arriving tomorrow. I got sweat pants out to wear. I see the oral surgeon tomorrow. Have two errands to run too. I want Christina to take me to the grocery store. Pork loin ends roasts are on sale. Buy 1 get 1 free. I make that with mashed potatoes & sauerkraut for New Year's Day.
Have a cute story to tell. I couldn't fall asleep last night so went on the couch & fell asleep. Somehow I rolled off & found myself on the floor I have RLS which makes you thrash in your sleep. Maybe that's why I rolled off. Managed to get myself up.

My golf cart is no longer mine or here. At 1:30 the lady came and paid for the cart as her friends loaded it on the trailer. My heart broke and I cried hard as it headed down the street. Mark loved that cart too and that is what makes my decision so hard to deal with. But I have to have a reliable cart in the summer. I had no others make an offer or come to look at the cart so I had to let it go when I did. Mandy and I will walk or take the car until I get a different cart. Tomorrow I would like to go and see what Denny has at Cars and Carts. I have money saved to replace the French door, I”ll use that towards a different cart. I’ll just start saving again for the door. It’s so cold in the mornings that I won’t walk and don’t like taking the car on such short trips too often. But at least it’s good on gas.
So far I’m feeling better than yesterday but am not doing much of anything either. It’s so terribly windy again and then temp just now hit 70. In an hour it will start dropping again. So when I do go out I dress warmly.
I took out some sloppy Joe from the freezer for supper. I’ll have pickles and chips with it. And some pear sauce.
Not much else happening here.

Good evening to all. Another busy day here. It was chilly here, but I persevered and took my walk; boy those hills seemed extra steep today! Got some rearranging done on the grandkids' Christmas bags as, when I mentioned that I wasn't planning on stocking presents this year, everything would be in their bag, they were so disappointed, I decided to relent and have put some of the smaller things I had for them aside to go in their stockings. Didn't realize how much they enjoyed the stockings. Same amount of gifts, just different presentations, so no problem for me, although I had to go back to some older stockings as the vintage ones I have on the mantel now are so skinny they are hard to get anything in them so that's why I had thought I would forego stockings this year. But, I am flexible. Got a huge sirloin steak from the beef we bought last year seared in the iron skillet and now finishing in the oven. We will have green beans and au gratin potatoes from yesterday's lunch to go with as well as homemade biscuits.
Mama, congratulations on completing the sale of the golf cart.
Laurie, your big trip is right around the corner; how exciting!
