Good Morning....
It is a frosty morning at 25*. Everything was covered in frost this morning. The sun is shining bright but it's not going to warm up too much.
Laundry will be going soon. Have to gather up what's getting washed.
Mamma...DD/DSIL got me the Chromebook many years ago. It has served me well for what I do but now seems to be acting up every now and then. Last winter the FB messenger decided to quit working on it. One day it worked fine and the next the chat box would come up but would not allow me to type in it. After several months, it all of a sudden started working again. Go figure. DD is going to check it out and see if she can figure out what might have happened. Who knows if I clicked on something I shouldn't have. Wouldn't be the first time...lol Enjoy those popcorn balls. I've never been a fan of them, myself but many do like them.
GrammyDebbie...I see you have a whirlwind weekend in store for you and DH. Always something to keep you busy. Glad to hear Mike is doing so well.
Carolyn...prayers for your DSIL. May those injuries heal without any problems. How exciting to see the little guy crawling. They do grow so fast. We will be having cornbread dressing this year. I've never had it...so I'm looking forward to trying it.
Grammy...the pumpkin crunch sounds good.
Didn't get to the Christmas decor yesterday, so maybe I'll do that today...we'll see. Have a great day everyone.....

This morning I got to sleep in a bit longer. It was after 7 when Mandy and I went down. That extra sleep felt so good too. But it has thrown me off I routine. LOL Hey, I'm retired, I can do it when I feel like it. Right?
CJ burrr, too cold for me anymore. I dress like an Eskino at 60ยบ. hehehe The only popcorn balls I like is my recipe. Others are just so bland.
Sheets to get changed, floors cleaned and scrubbed, wash a few rugs and straighten out the craft room (the mess is really bothering me), and make my beef vegetable soup. As with all of grandma's recipes, there are no recipes. Who needs a recipe for soups anyway??? I may see one but I never follow it. LOL

Good morning grannies, it's a chilly, frost morning. I didn't check the temps earlier this morning but it's only 35 now. Sunshine and mid 40s this afternoon.
CJ we like the pumpkin crunch and I've made it for many years.Much easier than making a pie and no crust to make!
Cleaning this morning will include some extra things. All the fall things will get put away and maybe some Christmas things brought out. I have some things stored down here that could be put in place. Next weekend should be Christmas tree time. I know some don't like the early Christmas Season but it's so short! When Christmas is over I'm ready to put it all away. I do usually wait.
The cleaning girl is here and busy dusting so I should do a little supervising.
Sometimes I need to point out something missed or not done very well. She did get the apron finished and was so happy to take it upstairs to show it off! She did a nice job for her first project now she wants to make aprons for mom and dad for Christmas gifts. That will be the next project also good practice for what she learned

Good morning, it's a beautiful day out. I was out with the woofers for a few, they heard me on the deck and came flying around the garage. It's so quiet in the house without Susie, but it is not quiet outside with these two goobers. Today is the Yeti's birthday, he wants to go to Brigadoon at the Community Theater, they were out of tickets, but there were some available at one of their sponsors, so we will be doing that tonight. Neither of us have seen it.
Grammy, I'm so glad that she is enjoying sewing, it's a skill that everyone needs. I'm glad she has such a good teacher too.
We went to Bingo last night, not winners, but it was fun. Got to see a cousin who teaches at one of the schools I sub at. I don't get to see here out of that setting often, she's so much fun to be around. They are foster parents and the kids are at respite this weekend. They had two more for a while, but they are not longer with them. I couldn't have kept them as long as they did-lying, destructive, many more things. The system is not helping them, but enabling them.

A lot cooler today than yesterday. No more nice temps. till next year. Dusting day. That's it for today. My cousin called me yesterday & invited me for Thanksgiving. I'm glad I won't be home alone.
Mamma at this stage in our lives we can do what we want when we want & how we want & don't have to answer to anyone. I tell Delores that all the time. She agrees.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's a nice sunny morning and 45 now. I slept late again, but not real late. Yesterday I got some more time in the spare room, but can only work for a little while and then need to sit for awhile. I was working away and the knock came on the door, and it was my neighbor with the mail. Then just a little while after she left, another knock and it was my porch friend. She stayed 2 hours, so didn't get as far as I hoped, but I am pleased with what I did get done. It's taking longer as I am going through every box that was in there, and have found things I have completely forgotten. I did come up with a plan for a silent auction item for next year though, in my mind at least! I would like to finish up that project today! I also thought I might like to make a run to Aldi's, which is about 25 miles - that's why I never go there. Not that far, but I have little reason to go to that town anymore, and figure with the gas, it's not saving me much - but every once in a while I like to go and look and get some of the basic's! I may or may not get there in the next few days.
CJ, you will get to your decorating when ever it seems right. The best of plans don't always fall together as we like.

Grammy, I have made the pumpkin crunch different times and like it as well, if not better than the pie. I am not a big crust fan. Kathy must be so proud of her apron. Good idea to keep going on them for the gifts. I like to have my decorations up early too, but if not, then I think it's not worth the bother to put them up in the middle of the month - and I am always sad to see them get put away again.
Laurie, hope you and the Yeti have a nice time celebrating his BD - wish him a happy one! Wow! You get to go out 2 nights in a row!!! Sounds like everyone I talk to lately has either hit a deer or the deer hit them! Last Fri. night must have been a bad one as I talked to 3 different ones that had that misfortune.
Debbie, hope the pictures went well, and the games were winners.

Hippity hop, the quilt is done. Thumbs don't appreciate me but not they have time to heal until it is potato peeling time.
I'm going to make some cookie dough up later and bake them tomorrow. Some will freeze and some not. Maybe tomorrow I'll make the other batch of dough. After that, it will just be the tried-and-true cookies.
Since the quilt is done, now I need to finish wrapping and I think I'm 99% done shopping. Feels good. I've got a tree project to do yet but I was so excited to get my candies and pudding yesterday that I forgot to stop and get my paint. Today is ice cream day so I'll stop and get the paint while in town. That project shouldn't last more than a day or two. I'd like to have it done by Thanksgiving but probably won't as I'm going away Monday and won't be back till Tuesday late. Wednesday will be Thanksgiving prep time so there, next week is shot.
DD passed her colonoscopy. Her issues come from having endometriosis and having a hysterectomy. At least the doctor told her what to watch for if she would need emergency care.
Time to get up and move to wrapping things. I think the fire went out too, so I'll get it going. Need something to eat too. But what? ?

Hi everyone! Trying to add two pics and we'll see how it goes. Here is one of the goobers, Nugget-now named Valkyrie and Nim from the snow a few weeks ago. They get along so well, I'm glad to see that. Also, after the Aldi's mentions I wanted to share something I bought this last year for a gift basket-I've gotten it a couple of times since as it is seasonal. I do want to go get more the next time I am at Aldi's. It's kind of sweet, yet kind of tangy. I like it on cream cheese with either club type crackers or wheat thins (the crispy ones) that are the Aldi brand. I googled too and found out that Neufchatel is similar to cream cheese and has much less milk fat in it, I think it tastes the same. I've been kind of busy this morning since I finally feel like I am getting better. I'm super distractible though, went to do something and about 20 things later finally got to it, forgot to bring milk up from the basement though. Oh well, have other stuff to take down there, I just try not to go up or down without taking something to its place. Yesterday's PE classes were chilly out there. Still doing cleanup in the ventilation in the gym, so some kids were in indoor play area and the older ones were outside, but, it included a reminder of "it's only going to get colder, what do you need to remember to bring?"

I did it. It was only Burger King but I ate there by myself. The Whopper was so nice and hot and they actually left off the salt on the fries, like I asked, so I was happy. My meal was only $11, about 10 less than if I went to the restaurant. And I wasn't the only one eating alone either. Win win for Cindy. It sure was nice eating out even if it was by myself. 
The floors are cleaned, sheets changed, and some rugs washed. I got the soup bone in and started the soup before I left for lunch. Now to cut up the veggies and get ready to finish the soup. Or maybe I'll wait until closer to supper time. Who knows, I fly by the seat of my pants sometimes.
