Good Morning....
A nice sunny morning but, boy is it ever cold. It will warm up some , but not as much as yesterday.
We will have Teddy today. He's sick and the school said he should stay home today. DD has to fly to Washington DC this afternoon...so I'll be picking Penny up from school and taking them both home. Tomorrow I'll go get them in the morning, take to school and pick up and take home. If Teddy is still sick tomorrow, I'll have him during the day. They have one car, so makes it tough when something like this comes up. She'll drive her car to the airport as she gets back in on Wed at midnight. Anyway...it all works out. I like having one on one time with the kids. Teddy still takes a nap...so that's a little down time for me too.
My school lady friends have set up a game/lunch day in December. Should be fun and something to look forward to.
I have coffee and Tim Bits (donut holes) ready for everyone. Have a great day...........

Good morning. A chilly 52º ride to the pet area. The sun had not made it over the mountains when we left here at 6:40. We were early today because my bladder said I had to get up early. Mandy didn't want to stay long again today. So this afternoon she will finish her job. LOL
CJ, I'm so hungry for doughnuts, thanks for the treat. I hope you don't run into yourself with all the comings and goings. Poor Teddy, I hope he feels better soon and you don't get sick again too. Safe travels for your DD.
I'm anxious to see what all will be in the box from the food shelf this morning. I'm out of all my produce and some canned goods. This once a month trip will sure help with my food budget. I could really go for some apples. I know I'm not an apple fan but when you don't have any for a long time....... And I'll learn to eat fish but fried only. LOL
I'm thinking I'll put up Marks icicle lights on the porch today. It will take me awhile to figure out how to hang them and be able to unplug them at night. I'm not sure how to set a Google plug in. Maybe Lincoln can talk me through it, I can figure it out the next time then. Mark always set these up. I won't turn on the lights until after Thanksgiving though. hehehe Or so I say now.
Unless Jill backs out again we are going to go and snoop at Hobby Lobby and Micheals on Wednesday. Not to buy but to look at all the pretty holiday stuff. I do have my birthday money from Barb and David so I could get something if it really is a good deal and I just have to have it. LOL
Enjoy your day and stay warm. I'll be warm at 83º today.

Good Morning Ladies - - - Nice sunshine and 42 - but the nice days are slipping away. It is suppose to get colder, starting Thur. night. I will be on the road on Thur. as it's time to meet up with the HS friends. Only 3 of us, as the one that usually comes here and we go together from here has already left for Fl. I will stop and pick up the other along the way. Well, once again the Fantasy is a wrap. I did bid on one item and I got the call that I got it. It is a picture of Santa with a unique verse that I will share with you after I pick it up today. It is about 9x13 and on a pencil sized stake so that it sits. It was the verse that got my attention. I got home about 5:30 and it was about 5 when I had a chance to look and see how the bids were. I didn't bid on the other thing I was looking at. It was more than I really wanted to spend on that item. It was a flag painted on copper. I thought Daren would like that, but I didn't go for it. I am going to go to coffee today and hope it goes okay getting into her house, and I will pick up my item, wash a load of clothes when I get home and then try to see what I need to make for supper. CJ, sorry to hear that Teddy isn't feeling good - a little grandma love will be just what the Dr. ordered. I know that you are happy that you can help the kids out with taking care and running with the littles. Mamma, good news from the CPA and today the FB - Hey, you are on a roll! Have fun shopping. My problem is that I need nothing more for decorations, but weeken when I see it, so I am better off not even looking. Have a nice day ladies.

Good morning grannies, it's a nice sunny morning with frost and the temp 30* heading for the high 50s this afternoon. This page had a large pop up ad that I can't get rid of. I can make it smaller but it won't go away. Not a good start for my day!
CJ sounds like you have a busy day or two with a little boy who doesn't feel good. Hope he gets over it soon. DGD3 has to go to DC frequently for meetings. What's not to like about donut holes, pass the plate, p l e a s e!
Mamma can I join you on the outing today. I love to see all the craft stuff and wish I still had reason to do those things. I hope you will use some of the birthday $$ to give yourself a present. Something to make you feel good. It doesn't need to cost a lot but it should make you happy to have it! Some of us had to learn to do those jobs that dh always did for us. I had to learn to pump gas! That's a job I still hate to do. DH always kept gas in my car as long as he was able to get to the pump. I know you will get those lights up and they will look good. Hop e there are things you like in the food box. I like anything that looks like food!
DD has a small group of friends that get together for social time only. Today they are having lunch at a ladies house. I have been invited and plan to go. Even thou they are all so young! Prob upper 60s and 70? I can sit quietly and enjoy the food if there is no one to chat with.
I'm sitting here in my nightie and robe must be time to find some clothes

Bill showed me several ways of getting to the food shelf. All roads I’m familiar with too. Next month I should be able to get to it pretty easily. And it’s close to where I can get a Godfathers pizza. He did good as a guide.
After I registered for an account I went to a door and was handed a grocery cart half full of food. It brought tears to my eyes. As Bill and I put the stuff into his car I was amazed at all the food that I could really use and will eat. Watermelon, apple pears, a dozen little muffins, bag of long grain rice, two huge bags of red grapes, three big bags of plums ( would guess about 8 pounds), a rotisserie lemon chicken (from WM that they froze), 4 pounds of frozen haddock, a loaf of garlic bread, pistachios, canned goods ( I gave to Jill), 10 pound bag of russet potatoes, 10 pound bag of red potatoes, and a box of Mac and cheese. I gave Bill one of the bags of grapes since I really don’t eat many grapes and I shared some grapes and plums with Jill. I also gave her some potatoes. I like potatoes but even I can’t eat 20 pounds of potatoes before they spoil. LOL All this for one person. Next time I go I need to bring a utility bill. They needed just my drivers license and utility bill. She never even asked my monthly income. I found that odd. Maybe I looked poor, I sure didn’t look malnourished or underfed. LOL
I’ve gotten most of the goods put away, washed the fruit and am thinking haddock for supper, fried of course. I won’t eat baked fish or chicken. It’s fried or I won’t touch it. LOL Nothing but unhealthy for me. 🤣
Now to get some work done and then have something for lunch.

Mamma...that's quite a haul you made today. Even two of us can't eat that many potatoes in a month. Glad you can share some of it. I love fish cooked any way. Add a little squirt of lemon and I'm good to go.
Poor Teddy's nose is really stuffy/runny. He sure acts happy for a sick kid. He didn't eat much for lunch but then he never really does. He has a hard time breathing through his nose when he eats...so that slows him down. Anyway...after lunch we looked at some books and I rocked him a little..then asked him if he was ready to go in his bed and he shook his head yes. I heard him talking in there a little, but now it's quiet. He is such a sweet little boy.
DH had lunch duty for his mom so he missed out on lunch with us. She had dental work yesterday...a tooth pulled after it was determined that it couldn't be saved. She is on a soft/liquid diet for a few days.
Since the kids school has new people working there this year, I'll need to show my ID when I pick up Penny.
Greenback...sounds like another successful Fantasy. I'll be waiting to see what you got.
Grammy...enjoy your day with DD's friends. I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding someone to talk with.

Quiet afternoon as usual. I'm now frying up some fish for supper and will have left over squash and milk too. I hope I get the fish done this time. I'm really rusty with my cooking since I hardly cook anymore.
I gave a bunch of plums to an old neighbor when she stopped by to say hi. I'm not a plum eater and I really didn't care for the one I did eat. The grapes are quite good so I am nibbling on them. I'm so grateful and blessed for the food I got today. And am sharing because I go so much for one person.
So far it looks like Jill and I will get out and do something besides sit at home. If she changes her mind I'll go alone!!!!!
Have a relaxing enjoyable evening everyone.
