Good News, Debbie! Now to keep the man down will be your challenge! Probably won't be too hard for a day or two, but then I'm guessing he will be getting restless. Wish him well from me. Hang in there too, as I know it's never a picnic for the care giver too.

Debbie so glad to hear that the procedure was successful! Thank Him for answered prayers. May his recovery have no problems and go well. Those info papers with meds can be very intimating! I have lots of pills now and usually don't read those papers. If I read them I prob wouldn't take the med!

Greenback....I was posting back and forth with Lily on TOH for a while when she told me she was going to start a group and that I was welcome to join...so I did and I'm so happy I did as I got to know so many wonderful ladies who have all become like family to me. At first DH couldn't understand how I could keep talking to strangers every day till I told him they are not strangers...we all know each other very well. It didn't take long for him to see I was right and how much I enjoyed talking with everyone.
Debbie...so glad to hear all went well and Mike is resting at home now. I'm still not sure what kind of procedure he had but glad it's over and he's doing well.

Oh...and I have to say...I went to TOH with a question about some cooking or baking issue and Lily was the first to respond to me. It turns out after talking for a while that she knew some of DH's family from when she & her DH lived in Michigan. Small world. That gave us kind of a connection.

DJ I'm also thankful the procedure went well. I agree with CJ, give him a couple of days and he'll be wanting to get going again. You take care of you too, it's double duty being a wife and caregiver.
CJ And I remember the time you brought me home from Richland when I had a health issue. My DH was very impressed and thankful, as was I.
GRAMMY My DD, the RN, often tells me not to read the "warnings." Take the meds and if there isn't a reaction, you're safe, if you start feeling different, etc, stop taking them and call the Dr. I remember talking to you on the phone before meeting you, Justme and CJ.
