Good Morning....
It's gray and dismal out there. Going to be around 50 at some point today.
Set all the clocks back an hour last night. Still didn't make it to church. I'm making bread instead. Not doing the new recipe yet. Staying with the rustic italian bread again this time. Next time will be the other bread.
GrammyDebbie...sending prayers for your DH tomorrow. I think I missed what kind of procedure he is having.
Carolyn...adding prayers for your sister.
Grammy...is the sale still going on today?
I have a load of laundry to do today and that's about it...except for deciding what supper will be.

Last night it didn't get as cold as it has been. So at some time last night I had to get up and turn the winter quilt off of me. I was sweating bullets. Then around 4:30 I needed it again. But it's still nice to have on the bed when I need it to be there.
Not as chilly this morning but Mandy and I took the cart. I needed it to be moved so I could get the car out for church anyway. We were the only ones in the pet area this morning. And it's the first time in a long time that Mandy didn't just stare into space. LOL
Just church and home today. Jill is coming with me this morning and I'm always so happy when she comes along.
CJ, you guys eat quite a bit of bread or do you make small loaves? Fresh bread is so good right out of the oven.

It is warmer here today also. 50.
I’ve had breakfast and a shower and have some money going. Still trying to organize.
Hope all of you are doing well. I will come back later to see who all has came on.

Good Afternoon Ladies - - - it's 54 here, but a damp, chilly 54 and no sunshine! I have my clocks all changed except for the stove and that one is a beast to change - I have to think on it a little, but have the microwave right above it with the right time. I was having bacon & eggs for brunch, as I had some bacon I thought I should use up, and just got it done and ready to eat and my friend called and said she was coming down. She brought me a container with a couple of pumpkin bars in it so they are in the frig, waiting to be enjoyed at some point. I continued to eat my eggs, as they aren't much good later - I was going to have a banana with it,, but so far I haven't done that. She also came down last night and helped me with a couple of the clocks I can't reach very well. I haven't seen her for a long time as she has been sick most of the summer/fall and they finally took her gall bladder and then she had a bus trip planned, so glad she is finally feeling better.
I need to go in the spare room and dig in the closet there and look for the item I have planned for my silent auction item at the Fantasy next weekend. It seems to have creeped up in a hurry, but maybe it's because I am not so involved with it this year.
CJ, I'm sure your house smells wonderful with the bread baking. I still have leftover meatloaf and squash for supper.
Mamma, glad that you and Jill have each other to go to church today - will you do lunch afterwards. I'm thinking there is no time change in Az., is that correct?
Carolyn, so sorry to hear about your sister - Prayers for her recovery. Are you still planning a trip to SC?
Debbie, hope all go's well for Mike tomorrow - I know you will take good care of him.
Grammy, hope the garage sale continued to go well and there will be a big donation to help your family of friends.

Not many grannies chatting today. I've been busy I always am on weekends. Did a load of laundry & dry swiffed the floors. That's it for me today. Tomorrow is a lazy day.
Carolyn I'll gladly say some prayers for your sister. Keep us posted on how she's doing.
CJ No sun here today, but the temp. is 66*
Debbie I'll say a prayer for Mike. Let us know tomorrow how his surgery went.
Jane I had scrambled eggs & a bagel for lunch. Tinker & I went over to see Delores this morning as always She made roast beef & gave me some so that will be my supper.

Good afternoon.
Jill texted this morning that she was opting out of church today. She is really in a state and I'm worried about her. Still no job and so short on cash. She went to AA this morning instead of church so at least she got some kind of help,I hope this morning. She just wants to do nothing today and I'm so concerned. Please send up a prayer for her. She is such a sweet young lady.
I wished I had stayed home from church this morning. We had a couple from South Africa speaking, yawn yawn. At one point I was ready to get up and leave. Then they passed around the offering plate for them and wanted all of us to follow them on their website, social media etc. by handing out their "business card". Nope not happening and I refused the card. For some reason I had a feeling of not going to church today, wish I had followed that feeling.
The heat is on the rise so I closed up, as soon as I got home, while it was still cool in the house. There isn't much of a breeze anymore either. It will easily hit 93º today.
Jane, you are right, no silly time change down here. I hope your eggs didn't get cold. You made me hungry for fresh squash so I have it on my next WM order. That stuff in the freezer section of the store is not very good. I've tried it but not worth trying again, IMO. Kind of like store bought tomatoes, not the best, but what else can I do.
No cleaning today or laundry, I really just want a nap. Another not so good night for sleep. Ugh! Tomorrow my to do list is rather lengthy. But what gets done gets done, what doesn't get done, who cares. hehehe
Now I'm going to watch the movie, "I Can Only Imagine" for the fifth time since it's been out. LOL

It's late and nobody will probably see this but I'll post anyway. Just an ordinary Sunday. I made a run to get some finch seed and a couple of other things this afternoon. This is the 1st Sunday I haven't taken a nap in a very long time. Maybe the time change? Well, I'm feeling like it's bed time now and it's only after 8:00, EST, but would be 9:00 DST.

Elle, I tried to take a nap today but it just wouldn't come even though I'm really tired. And now it's 6:30 so it's too late to take a nap. Maybe I couldn't sleep because I didn't do anything all day but sit on my tail
