Good Morning...
We have snow on the ground. Just enough to cover the grass. The sun is shining and it looks quite pretty.
Had quite a few kids trick or treating last night but not as many in past years. I have a ton of candy left.
Elle...hope you have a wonderful day...Happy Birthday.
I have a couple errands to run this morning then I'll see what the afternoon brings.
I have a question....I got the mat that fits under the mixer and now I'm wondering...when you move the mixer to where you want it, do you take the mixer off it to be more stable on the counter or leave it under it??? I know...I'm not to smart about this. Seems if it moves so easy on the counter, it would move around when you are using it.
Not much happening yet...I'm on my first cup of coffee and I have more to share....help yourselves. Have a great day............. |

CJ, I have a towel under my mixer so it moves or slides out of the corner without me lifting it. Otherwise the mixer doesn't move unless you pick it up. ON the towel the mixer doesn't move when in use.

Goodmorning grannies, it's a bright sun shiny morning with the temp of 31. Only a very light frost last night. The temp will stay in the 40s today getting warmer for afew days. Looking ahead it appears Fri and Sat will be good weather with warmer temps and sunshine so glad there is no rain in the picture for those days. Maybe lots of people will come to buy the stuff that has been donated. Lots of good things out there but at this time of life I don't want more stuff!
We did have some snow yesterday evening! Just some flurries but it was white stuff falling from the clouds! It's not unusual to have a few flurries by the end of Oct.
CJ our mixer sits in a corner and gets lots of use with nothing under it. Not far to move it so it gets lots of use. I know you will find lots of use for yours if you can move it easily.

It was great to have sausage and waffles delivered to me this morning. DD wanted a new waffle maker so now that she has one every Wed. is Wonderful Wednesday Waffle day! Yumm. Kids love it and so do the big people!
DSIL is the only one home today so I think I might clean the ovendoor. It's a glass door and will take some work! Chef used to keep it clean but his new work schedule leaves no time for it.

Thanks Mamma...I kinda thought it should stay under it...otherwise you would still be lifting and it would defeat the purpose...LOL Sometimes I feel so dumb about things.
Grammy...what kind of job does Chef have now? Does he do any catering anymore or anything with cooking?

 Good morning.
A cool morning but nice enough to walk to the pet area. I really should've taken the cart since I'm still a bit dizzy. My vertigo lasted all day and was still not good this morning. Thinking more, I believe the dizziness has to do with my stiff sore neck as well.
My cart almost left me stranded last night so I'm back to not trusting it anymore. I'll give it at try this afternoon and if I have trouble it will go back and I'll see if they can get it to act up this time. I'll have the man that picks it up drive it around before he loads the cart. That is if he can get it to go at all. I just coasted into the carport last night. So I don't know if it will move or not. I really had thought that God wanted me to keep the cart. 
A load of laundry in the washer. Not sure it will go on my lines to dry or not. It's pretty windy again. Yesterday is was very windy too. All this is making a very sandy porch. I'll hang things inside on the clothing rack that I have. It so dry that a little moisture in the house won't hurt.

Sun is shining here but cold. Only in the 40's today. Feels like winter.
CJ I don't have a mat under my mixer. It's in the corner of my counter top Don't have to move it to far to use it.
Grammy Heavy frost coming here tonight.
Mamma I'm doing a load of laundry today. Getting Thanksgiving things out.

Good Morning Ladies and a special  to our dear friend, Miss Ellie! I hope that today will be a special day for you, and you will have lots of fun things that happen! I'm sure you will have lots of company and calls, and I know you will enjoy each and everyone of them!
CJ, I have my mixer in my corner appliance garage and just open the door and slip it out a little ways to do the mixing. No mat or towel and it works good for me that way - I guess trial and error is the way to go and see what works for you - there is really no right or wrong, just what works best for you.
Mamma, glad that you had your little walk to the park - - It's so good for you and Mandy to do that. I wish I could get out and walk - Sorry that the cart is still giving you issue's.
Grammy, what a fun tradition to start with your waffle Wed. - - I had one that was a wedding present and when we redid the kitchen at the house, it went to the basement along with many other things, and I never found it again. I can't imagine what could have happened to it, it remains a mystery. I guess I don't miss it that much, but every once in awhile I think it would be good to have one, but I never order it when I go out either.
Carolyn, I hope you get through your list and am not too tired when you finish.
IC, stay warm and tucked in today.

Wow, where has everyone been this afternoon? The gals at coffee had a cake and cards for me. That was a surprise!! but so thoughtful. It's still cold and the sun did come out this afternoon and is hiding now. I guess it's getting time for the sun to set so darkness is coming. Tomorrow a.m. a friend and I are going out for breakfast. I'll be having supper at a Mexican restaurant with the kids and a few of the DGC.

For all of the fans, basketball has lost a legend - Bobby Knight, former coach of Ind. Love him or hate him, he was an amazon coach. My most vivid memory is when he threw the chair across the floor when he was playing Iowa.
