Hi all, I only expect BIL's kids for T&T and showed the Yeti the stuff and put it on the counter in case they get here before I do. Today is Pajama Day at school, after yesterday, I think I deserve it. I got home from school, took a 4 hour nap and went to bed, I woke up at 11:45, so I didn't get to call Al last night, I'll do so tonight. I best get ready to get out the door, the Yeti made coffee. Blessed be.

Good Morning....
It's 32*. Lots of leaves came down overnight. We have 30 leaf bags out for the yard debris pick up today. There will be more next week and there have already been a lot in previous weeks. Usually we hit 60-70 bags. So far I haven't helped DH but will with the next raking and bagging. Love those trees in the summer but, boy, can they make a mess in the fall.....LOL
It will be very cold for the trick or treaters tonight. I have plenty of candy so I might be giving handfuls away..LOL
My mom needs to take her car in for some repairs, so I'll meet her at the dealer and take her home. It will need to stay a couple days. I think we'll stop at Walmart on the way for a few things. This afternoon I'll carve my pumpkin. I brought it in the garage last night so it wouldn't freeze.

BOO! Don't be scared. It's really Grammy here to say Happy Halloween.
Good morning grannies, Baby it's Cold Outside..... the morning temp was a cold 26* when I got up. The sky is blue, the sun is shining and not a dark cloud in sight! The temp will make it to the 40s then a little warmer for the weekend!
Yea for those warmer days for Friday and Saturday. That will be the big rummage sale days. People have been so very generous some have already donated $$ saying they can't come but wanted to help this family! Our 3 car garage is overflowing so is the carport! More donations are to come. Some ladies from their church will be here to help. I believe the plan is to only price the high end things and other things will be only donation. They could never price all the items that have been donated. Hope lots of people come and buy. One mans trash is another mans treasure! Everyone should be able to find a treasure in all this stuff. I spotted a couple of things I would like to have. The best news is the family has found a house to buy!! They won't need to move here! PTL!
Laurie you are so busy I know you must sleep whenever you have time!
CJ no T or T for us we living in the boonies is a good place to be when the tricker are out. I even had eggs thrown at my house. Just kids having fun??? I loved all of our trees but not the leaves to clean up and we had lots of them also. Enjoy your Mom time today!
This is game day so that's where I'll be this afternoon

Good Morning Ladies - - - Surprise, Surprise - - -The ground is white and it's still snowing. I was to go downtown for coffee this morning, and the gals that had been going with me the last couple of times down there, called yesterday to see if I would go with. I had planned to, but I called this morning and said I thought it best if I just stay home. Here I got up for nothing - - and I had another sleepless night - - It was 5 something before I went to sleep, so I see a nap in my future - or maybe I should just go crawl back in bed! I was looking forward to going, even if it was going to just be 3 of us today.
Laurie, you really needed that nap if you slept for 4 hours. Enjoy your jammies today!
CJ, nice for your mom to have you so handy and able to do some of those runs with/for her. Evidently, your DH agreed with the repairs needed. That's a lot of bags of leaves to get rid of. My neighbor who brought over his garden tractor to put in my garage until they are done falling, took it out yesterday and mulched up what was down before the snow.

Grammy, you slipped in on me - - Glad you have lots of items to sell, and I hope they all go, or you will have a lot to deal with and find a home for them. It sounds like the entire community are supportive of this family and how nice that they can buy the house and not have to worry about moving again.

Gereenback I forgot to say..a resale shop will be here Monday morning to take anything we can't sell! Getting rid of leftovers is always a big problem with these sales. So happy they will pick things up.

Good morning.
Another chilly 54º morning but this time I dressed warmly. In fact I looked like an eskimo. the fleece jacket thingy that my DDIL gave me looks a lot warmer than it is, but it's plenty warm for now and I love it. The hood is really great. We took the cart this morning so the hood on my head kept my ears and head warm. I'm glad it's not as cold as y'all are.
I slept in until 7 and when Mandy saw the table lamp come on she was up on the bed in a heartbeat. She was more than ready to go and see who there was to play with. No one played today and she didn't seem all that interested either. Silly girl. She even had on her Halloween bandana.
The only thing I have planned for today is to get my nails done. We get no trick or treaters but I asked Chris and Regina to bring their grandson. I have a bunch of treats in a baggie for him. Chris is our maintenance guy and a good friend. They live here in the park and the grandson lives with them full time. I feel bad that he has no one to play with here. I always make a point of doing something special for him. Opps, I just remembered, I have to blow the sand off of everything again. The wind yesterday was nasty so everything is covered again. So happy to have the leaf blower. It makes the job so easy and quick.
Jane, I don't blame you for staying home. Lincoln stayed home today because of the drivers that don't think they should drive any differently in the snow. The first snow is the worst.
Grammy, wow, that's so great that what is left from the sale has a place that will pick it up. Best of luck with the sale.
Laurie, wow a 4 hour nap. You must have really needed the rest. Have a good day at school.
CJ, in our home town we raked the leaves to the street gutters and the city picked them all up with a ginormous vacuum. Saved us a lot of money on bags and it was easier for us too. Yep, love the trees, until clean up time.
One more cup of coffee and then my morning chores.

I am back.
I don’t have grannies group on my phone anymore, so have ro write on my I Pad.
I went to the store this morning, rode with my son. I have stocked up on toilet tissue and coffee.
Today I am making chicken taco soup. I am going to put cabbage in it also.
It was 40 this morning and supposed to freeze tonight. Brrrr.
Going to get the gas company to come out and light my pilot in my gas wall heater. I have the electric heat but it isn’t the warmest sometimes.
I could probably light it but they usually check for leaks, etc.
CJay, I have a yard full of leaves, and pine needles.
And, I don’t have any trees in that area. ,,,, The neighbors have a lot. There is one big tree down on my property line, but it does not make the mess. And it is far away from my house.
i hope everyone has a good day. I am trying to get some energy to work some on decluttering.
