Good Morning....
It's a beautiful morning with the crisp feel of autumn. The sunrise was very nice. I headed to my favorite place along the river to get some pictures. I was pleasantly surprised when 5 big swans came out of the marsh and swam by me. Also a muskrat was swimming toward me. I was standing on the bridge over the water, so had a good view.
Thanks for the info you gave me on the stand mixer. I'm still thinking about it and if I really need it...LOL
Suppose to get to 70* today. I guess I'll clean out the veggie garden and get my yard decor put away.
Coffee is ready....Have a great day................

Goodmorning grannies, it's another beautiful morning with sunshine and warmer temps today. The temp is to be in the upper 70s this afternoon. I might spend some time on the deck after lunch. I do like sunshine.
CJ hope you find the mixer that's just right for you.The stand mixer with dough hook sure made bread/roll a lot easier. If you enjoy making and eating the bread then I would say go for it! Time to have what you want if it fits the budget. Love the pictures this morning, what a nice start to the day.
Where is everyone this morning. It will soon be lunch time and only two of us here. Must be a chilly morning and feels good to snuggle under a blanket.
This day is about like the other day with not much to do. The garage is filling up with things for the benefit rummage sale. I keep checking out the donations and can only find some yarn that I might buy. I do have another week to keep looking. Lots of good stuff but not much I want at this time of life.

Good morning. It was sweatshirt and long pants this morning. Mandy and I walked and it was only 61º. Too cold for shorts and a t-shirt.
Cj, I loved the pictures you posted on FB. So glad you took advantage of the nice weather to get those pretty pictures.
Grammy, it's only 8:20 a.m. here. Way too early for lunch for me. LOL Enjoy your warm temps and soak up those sunshine rays.
Nothing planned for today, again. Unless I make the raisin bran muffins (Six week muffins) this morning.
Enjoy your day what ever you happen to do.

Good morning, I have done the laundry and vacuumed the living room. I am not up to doing a lot today though. Think I may be tired. I want to go to South Carolina if I can work it out. I did have a great long weekend. I need to go to the store and post office, if I can find some energy. Hope all of you are well. I bought some apples and am having one for breakfast. They are delicious. CJay, those are some good pictures. My little Elijah is trying to crawl and is sitting up. Debbie, they really haven’t shortened his name except sometimes they call him EL. Be back later

Got the garden space cleaned up and trimmed back my lavender plant. DH burned some sticks and branches while I watched from my swing. It's 70*, so I'm going to enjoy it while I can. I saw that nasty s...flake symbol in my weather app for next week.
Carolyn...sounds like you have been busy and are planning another fun time in SC. What kind of apples are you enjoying? Every year I have a harder time finding the kind I like. I should get some Macintosh and make some apple sauce.
We'll have left over soup tonight with the bread I made yesterday. It sure hit the spot last night and will taste better today.

Six Week Muffins are done and I'm now taste testing one before I share any with Jill. So far so good. The WM delivery order is put away and all the dishes are washed and drip drying in the sink. Too early for lunch so I'll see if Jill is home and take her a couple muffins.
This afternoon I want to make a trip to the $Tree for just a couple things. I think I better put on my blinders before going in the store. hehehe
Sunny and 75º and loving it.

Good Afternoon Ladies - - - I was busy getting things together for the gals this morning and then sitting and visiting with them and eating and drinking the coffee. Things are put put away again or in the dishwasher - Then my neighbor came with the mail and we deceided to go to the cemetery and put the angels in the ground before we have a freeze and bring home the summer flowers. Will wait a bit yet before taking the evergreen arrangements down, but they clip on the stones. Then when we got home, he brought his garden tractor here to put in my garage for awhile, as they want to put their deck furniture in their garden shed but keep the tractor until the leave are all done shedding. This is a late shedding tree, so they don't want to put the tractor in the storage shed they rent yet, and won't have room for it once the furniture is put away. Now, I think everything is done that needs to be done for the day - don't know what supper will be - more than likely left over egg bake or frozen pizza - well see, by that time, what sounds good. It's 72 and sunny some of the time and then cloudy some of the time! CJ, what a beautiful start to your day. I'm sure you are happy to have the garden put to sleep for the year! I finished my soup last night and there wasn't much juice left so more of a stew. Grammy, Fun to watch what builds up in the garage for new owners. Little I want or need in my life now also. Still, there are beautiful things I like and wish I could have, and I could, but what am I going to do with them and where will I put them! Mamma, A sweatshirt?? I haven't even gotten to them yet. I am looking forward to my flannel sheets later this week though. Nice of you to share your muffins with Jill. Hopefully a little visit when you take them to her. Carolyn, sounds like you did have a nice weekend and now looking forward to another trip. Will you go to be there for something special or just to visit? Maybe you can celebrate Thanksgiving, either while you are there, or an early celebration. Go while you can, you never know when you won't be feeling up to it and then enjoy the time while you are there. Well, I have a couple of other things I want to check out on here and then I want to spend some time with my feet up.

Good evening to all. We made a whirlwind trip to Oklahoma and had such a good time. We had thought about going to either Blake Shelton's place or Reba's new place about 3 hours south of Pawhuska, but by the time we got done with everything we wanted to do on Monday, we decided to head back to Joplin, MO, and met up with Mike's brother Russ and his wife Pam for dinner at Cracker Barrel. We thought about spending the night there, but just decided that we have enjoyed being home so much after being gone that we wanted to come home. We got here about 11:30 last night and slept in a bit this morning (7:00 for Mike, 8:00 for me).
I picked up the walnuts that had fallen in our absence and, with the threat of rain, Mike decided we should take them off to the huller today. So, we went about 1:30 and when we got there, we found they only hull from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays! Drat! So, back home we went and then went back to California again around 4:00. I had picked up 504 pounds (hulled weight, it's at least double that weight before hulling) and made $80.80. Nice to get paid for exercise and getting them off the yard.
Grammy, if we were closer, I would have lots to contribute to your rummage sale. Some of my friends have been having Facebook closet cleanout sales and I am thinking about doing that, but haven't gotten but one rod cleaned out yet.
CJ, beautiful pictures! I have a KitchenAid pro mixer with a 7 quart stainless steel bowl and the lift. I love it.
Mama, I sure would be willing to sample one of your raisin bran muffins.
Carolyn, I agree with Jane, go while you can. Your Elijah is growing fast.
Jane, tell me more about this delicious sounding blackberry cake from your daughter!
Time to put supper on the table. Love to all.
