Good Morning....
We are getting ready for early service...so I'm up early and have some time to post before we go.
It's looking like there will be a pretty sunrise this morning. But it will be a cool day with the high around 50.
DH & I plan to go to a cider mill today (I need my cider fix). And then probably to a park for a nature walk. It's suppose to be sunny all day.
I have coffee ready....just help yourselves. I also have some donut holes to have with the coffee.

Good morning CJ and those to come.
Mandy has been out and I'm half done with my first cup of coffee. No open doors or windows this morning, it's way to muggy out there. There must have been rain somewhere to cause this.
Jill will be going to church with me this morning. When I asked her to join me she said yes. Last week it was a no so I was surprised this time. I was going to stay home today if she said no. I just don't feel like going out this morning. But I'm glad she said yes.
Nothing, as usual, planned for today. I should get to the floors today since I didn't yesterday, but right now I don't feel like it. But I will dust off the car before church, it's dirty. Maybe next week I can wash it and the golf cart. It's suppose to be much cooler weather.

Good afternoon, it's sunny and 55*. It got down to the high 30's last night and supposed to get down to 31* tonight. The trees are showing so many beautiful colors. And the farmers are getting their soybeans off, then comes the corn. Fall season, holidays then another new year. Time is going fast. I hope the winter triples the speed. LOL It's Prime time at church tonight so I'll be gone late afternoon until around 8:00 tonight. I'll miss my KC football game. :-(
CJ Enjoy the walk in your favorite park and the pretty scenery. Thanks for the donut holes. I'll take extra and have them for breakfast tomorrow. LOL
MAMMA My car needs a wash, dusting wouldn't do it. LOL I hope you and Jill enjoy church and just being together. I could take about 20* of your temps.

Good Afternoon Ladies - - - It's another nice sunny day - 54 right now. It was a nice day for a road trip yesterday - the sun was shining, so the trees that were showing color, really glowed. Still many of the bluffs were just dull and I don't think there will be much color on them. The red and yellow trees were very pretty though. We met at Perkins this time, so I had breakfast and she had lunch. Then she sent a bunch of baked goods home with me. I really don't need it as she cooks richer than I would do. When I look at a receipe and see to much cream cheese, whipping cream, or sweetened cond. milk, I just skip it, unless for something special. I just had a piece of blackberry cream coffee cake, and it was good. I am thinking about serving that for coffee o Tue. instead of baking something. I was planning on doing something in pumpkin. I left here before 9:30 and got home at 5.
CJ, hope you are enjoying the fresh air this afternoon - sounds like you have a good one planned. I was too late for the donut holes - - Ellie is going to enjoy the extras for breakfast tomorrow! That will teach me to be late! LOL
Mamma nice that Jill will join you today. It will be nice that both of you have each other to lean on. Will you do lunch too, while you are out?
Ellie, I'm sure you will have a good time this evening at Prime Time. There were lots of farmers in the field yesterday and on the road. They have had some nice days to harvest.

The sun is shining but chilly A typical fall day. Two trees are changing color Both yellow. I'm almost done cleaning for the day. Christina will take over during the week. Tuesday will be busy. An appt. with the hematologist for me. I started making pepper pot. I love pepper pot & chicken and dumplings.
Elle I always want winter to go fast. Read another article in the paper about snow for us. Still calling for quite a bit of snow this year.

Jill is so funny. She doesn't like hugs, or people, so to avoid the hugs in church she makes a bee line to a seat. I have to find her. Me on the other hand look so forward to the hugs I receive at church. They are the only hugs I get anymore, and I'm a hugger. Today one of my friends "found" where Jill and I were sitting and gave Jill a small half hug, knowing how Jill feels. I got the giggles and an elbow in the ribs that made me outright laugh. She better get used to it. That church has really become my Yuma family. The only family I have here. It's a small church so it's easy to feel at home there. Now Jill wants to go to the Journey class on Thursdays. That really surprised me. If she gets a new job and has to work it's off. I don't mind if we don't go, I don't really want to go, but will go for her.
I had one frozen entree left in the freezer so that was my lunch today. I really wanted to go out to eat. Jill lost her job and is short on cash and refused me paying for the meal. I didn't want to upset her so said that I really should go home anyway, I had things to do. Oh dear me, lying right after church. Bad Cindy. So I better find something to do. I think I'll have Annie get to cleaning the floors while I supervise. LOL

It's a chilly52 with some sunshine to make it a beautiful day. Lots of trees showing off the fall colors when the sunshine is out. How will I ever make it thru the winter when it really gets cold I stay cold and today it's sweats and the electric heater in addition to the furnace.
Nothing much going on here today church and lunch as usual. Some reading and computer time as usual. What and exciting time it is!
Mamma the church I go to is also a smaller one with lots hugs to share. Lots of hugs not many handshakes! So glad that your friend liked your church maybe she will learn to hug there.
CJ sounds like a beautiful day for a walk and cider to sip along the way
elle your area sounds like this one with all the harvesting going on. Soya beans usually means Asia Beatles but so far I have seen very few of them. Prime Timer sounds like more fun time.
IC I would love some chicken and dumplings! Wish I had some like my cousin made yummm.
Greenback how nice of your friend to share some baked thins with you. That blackberry coffee cake sounds wonderful and nice way to enjoy it and share with your friends. Save a cup of coffee and a nice pc of the coffee cake for me.
