Good Morning...
The sun is shining bright. Should get to the upper 50's today. Will be a nice day to be outside.
I'm having lunch with my mom and one of her friends. We've been wanting to meet each other for a while. She lives right behind my mom and they do a lot of things together. She is about 6 or so years older than me. She kind of watches out for my mom and will alert me if she notices anything or whatever. Since they are coming to my town, they will pick me up.
Maybe later today DH & I will do a little nature walk at our favorite place. We'll see. He's making a Salvation Army run in a bit to take all the stuff I have to donate from my closet clean outs...LOL He added some of his own things too.
Mamma...hope the golf cart is running smoothly now.
Have a great day........

CJ Sun is out here too & temps. in the 60's for a few days. I'll take it & enjoy it before winter comes. In a few weeks we change the clocks. Don't like that as it'll get dark earlier.
Now doing much today. A load of laundry.

Goodmorning grannies, a wonderful sunny morning with a very light frost and temp of 36 warming to the low 60s for today then another downward slide.
CJ nice than your dm has a good friend to look out for her daily needs. Enjoy the lunch and meeting the friend.
I am also doing alittle purging. There will be a rummage benefit sale for the family that lost so much in the fire. They have a rental house but a dd wants to move there so they been asked to move. The move was to be end of Sept but the death of a dd it was put off till end of Oct and a must move then! They still have several children at home making it difficult to find a suitable house to buy or rent. We have offered to have them move in here if they don't find something be moving date. This takes some of the pressure off them for now. Can you imagine 15 people living under one roof! These kids have varying degrees of development disabilities. We can make eating and sleeping space for them. More prayers please!
Time to get ready to head out to Bible Study now.

Good morning, I am back to my card sorting today. I need to get to the grocery store. Tomorrow is my train outing. Hope it won’t be as cold. The sun is shining but it is cold now. Going to make this short. Hope everyone is doing good. 👻 Prayers Grammy I can’t imagine that many in one house.

Good morning. Bright sunshine and 66º. It was a rather chilly ride to the pet area this morning. Yes, I took the cart. I was not fully awake when we headed out so walking would not have been safe for me. My feet don't work really well as soon as I get up. Had I not had the cart I would've taken the car. But we are thrilled to have the golf cart back home.
Last night I slept pretty good but slept on my bad arm wrong so it is painful this morning. I have a few things on my to do list that will be on a to do later list now. Such is life.
I'm hungry for a grilled burger so that will be my lunch today. Yesterday I ordered a fresh tomato so that and lettuce will top the burger. Supper maybe something simple and no use of the air fryer. It's gonna be a pretty hot couple of days so no added heat in the house.
CJ, I didn't realize your mom lived in a different town as you. Have a wonderful time with mom and friend and a walk with your DH.
Grammy, That is very kind of all of you to open your home to that family. I don't think I could do that. Too many people in one house for me. God bless.
Blessings to all.

Good Morning Ladies --- Last night when I closed the computer for the day, it was still 48. Now it's 55 - not much sunshine today - - it's is saying light rain, but I doubt that will happen. Not much planned here for the day - I have a small load in the washer and I will do mail duty. The neighbors are gone again until SAT. so I will be getting mine and theirs. It the day for the paper to come, so will likely read that this afternoon. Tomorrow is my outing with the 3 HS friends. The gal that moved up this way, in a little river town, will pick me up. CJ, have a good lunch today - nice that you have another set of eyes looking out for your Mom. Sometimes they open up to someone that isn't in the family about needs and wants and having her looking out for something other than the norm is a wonderful idea - - not to mention the extra fellowship with each other. Sounds like the SA will be getting a bid donation. IC, yes those clocks will be turning soon, and I don't think any of us like the change . I like my daylight on the evening end of the day - morning don't bother me much, since I am a late sleeper. Grammy, your family is just the kindest and most helpful family that I know of. How nice of you to offer your home as a solution for their housing needs, but I would hope it wouldn't last too long. It's really not fair to the DGD's or any of you for that matter, but certainly is teaching them a life lesson in compassion. Hopefully, something will turn up that will fit the needs of their family. Carolyn, I hope you have a nice day for your train ride and will enjoy the ride. Mamma, yay, the cart is back, and put to use right away. Hope all is fixed right this time. I was surprised to hear that the air fryer throws of heat - I wouldn't had suspected that, but I haven't been around any one in use. enjoy your burger - it sounds really good to me, maybe I will have to have one tomorrow - will see. O my, the sun came out - - Hope it stays out!

Sun has disappeared here. Just lots of clouds. Got the laundry washed. In the dryer now. That's it for me today.
Grammy What a nice thing to help that family. I will say an extra prayer for them.

Good evening to all. What a busy day! I had my walk, ironed the valance I had washed for our bedroom window and got it back up, after dusting the blinds--I would have liked to take them down and hose them off, but these are heavy faux wood blinds and I opted to just dust each one instead. Took a while, but I am glad it was done before I put up the clean curtain on the window that got cleaned yesterday. By that time, it was time to go get the new truck and trade in the old one. That took about an hour as they weren't quite through with the modifications we had agreed upon before we got there. Mike then had to get some plumbing parts for his job for the day which was fixing a very small leak on the piping/valve for our underground propane tank and then had to put diesel in the new truck--what gives with dealerships no longer starting you out with a full tank of fuel. Then, it was 1:15 and we were starved so I used my coupons at Subway and got us three footlong sandwiches for $17.99 which we brought home and devoured 1-1/2 of them. Mike ate his whole footlong and I ate half of mine. I usually can get three sandwiches out of a footlong, but I was HANGRY! Then, out to pick up more walnuts. Got the side yards all picked up, although they are still falling from the trees and I am sure there will be more on the ground in the morning. Then, I will go into the field and pick up where Mike mows under those trees. There are some in the unmowed field, but I am not inclined to dig through the tall hay for those--and DBIL is out in the adjoining field right now cutting hay down for a second cutting and he or Mike will get to that field after this one is done. Mike also got the water heater drained and checked this afternoon, so we should be good on everything that utilizes propane this winter. This ol' gal is pooped and I am glad I can just reheat our Hawaiian chicken and rice for supper.
Drew's team lost last night, but they played hard. He got to start, but didn't play his best game. I think he watches too much NBA and he and his buddies try the fancy stuff they see done there when they need to play according to the basics.
Well, it's supper time and I had better get it reheated so I can collapse on the couch afterward. Wishing all a quiet evening and a good night's sleep.
