Wow, a chilly 56º this morning when Mandy and I headed out for our walk to the pet area. A long pants and light jacket morning. We met Mary and her dogs as they were leaving so it was just Mandy in area.
This morning I have every intention of making chocolate cupcakes with butter cream frosting. My favorite combo. After that I will let Annie hit the floors while I do some dishes. I finished the quilt yesterday so I may start on a diamond paint project on Monday that has been in a drawer for some time now. I may even order a Christmas one.
Time for the second cup of coffee and a cookie or two.

Phone woke me up this morning. A scammer It was almost 10 AM Good thing as my Meals On Wheels would be coming soon. Sun is out brightly Tomorrow lots of rain. I have a few things to do today.

Good morning grannies , another beautiful, sunny morning with some wind to make it feel like coat weather even with the temp at 60*
Mamma hope you and Mand enjoyed the morning walk. Coffee would taste mighty good when you got back home. Your quilt was so pretty I'm anxious to see your next project.
IC so nice that you get the meals on wheels. No cooking for one meal and still a good meal!
Kathy did a great job with her first session with the sewing machine. Nice straight lines. She is easily distracted from her work but I explained why she should focus on her work and not on things around her. I did stuff in the room while she did some sewing and was pleased to see her eyes always on the work. At dinner time I made sure to tell the family what a good job she did!
I finally do some shopping, found a few things I needed and some I wanted. I needed socks. My shoes have so much added to them there is little room for socks! I finally found some lighter wt. ones and got several pr. Today they feel good.
Greenback it was great to hear that you got a good report from the Dr then off to enjoy some time with your friend. Sounds like a super good day for you!!
I'm not doing much today a little "take it easy" time after my shopping time. The cleaning lady will be here to take care of things tomorrow.

Good morning, it's cloudy but the sun did shine earlier. It's a fallish feeling day. The time changes in a few weeks too. It's been a good but busy week. Nothing extraordinary but busy. DD is in Columbus with her son and she'll be home Sunday so probably no Friday night company. I need to get some laundry and cleaning done today. The morning went way too fast... LOL
MAMMA Your early morning temp wasn't that much different than ours. But, I'll take your afternoon temps. LOL
ICOOK The scammers just keep bugging everyone. I hope they get paid well. LOL
GRAMMY What a great teacher and influence you are to your family! Your legacy will live forever. And also in the GN! You're still our Queen!!

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's a dark and gloomy day - - - 51 and they say heavy rain, but it's not doing it now!! I placed a grocery order, so will probably pour when I go to get that. They had those little cuties on sale for a bag for 3.98 - hope it's not to early for citrus stuff to be good. The last ones I got in the spring had no flavor.
Mamma, a nice morning walk for the 2 of you-glad you got to at least say good morning to your friend, since she was already leaving. Nice to have that pretty quilt to curl up with when needing a little extra warmth. It will be nice for you to try your diamond point picture again and then have a tasty cup cake when you need a break.
IC glad you made it up before the meals on wheels came. I slept last too, as I sure can't seem to sleep when I should!
Grammy, happy to hear that the sewing lesson went well. Nice that you could step back and observe how she was doing without you right beside her. Sounds like shopping went well for you!
Ellie, happy to hear you have just been busy - I have missed you. I know you will miss your Friday night company, but maybe it will give you a chance to rest up.
It's probably later than what I should have another cup of coffee, but I think I need it anyway. Guess there's no reason I need to stay on the clock!

GREENBACK We was supposed to have rain yesterday but it didn't happen. It did rain some through the night but nothing yet today. I hope you're feeling well and thankful your report from a few days ago was good. That's always a relief.

I'm busy washing my bedding. My bed was a little wet this morning. I think Miss Tinker dribbled in her sleep last night.
Elle I'm not looking forward to the time change. I hate it. It'll be dark by late afternoon. As soon as it gets dark the night clothes will be on.

Oh my goodness. This morning I checked the Fry's add and they have lean hamburger on sale for $3.77 a pound. So i quickly ran to the store to grab 6 pounds. Well, as usual I wasn't paying attention. What I thought was one pound packages on sale, ended up being two pound packages. So I ended up with 12 pounds of hamburger!!!!  I had three pounds still in the freezer. So I now have 15 pounds of hamburger. Good thing I eat a lot of that. It's so versatile. I had so much hamburger I had to run to the store for more quart freezer bags. NO MORE shopping in the store. OMG, it was a zoo with the flocks of birds stocking up. I was lucky to get the bags, the shelves were almost bare already.
After the meat was packaged up into one pound bags and put in the freezer I took two cupcakes with candles over to Jill for her birthday. She isn't feeling well so didn't go go work. I gave her a little gift yesterday. I was also going to make taco's for us but with her not feeling well, we will do that another time. She had tears when I gave her the cupcakes and sang happy birthday.
Well now I need to get my rear in gear and get the dishes and the floors taken care of.
The doors and windows are still open wide.

Hi all. I've been home for a bit and it was just starting to sprinkle when I pulled in, I looked out and saw a pillow on the deck from one of the rockers-well, it's wet now and I'll get it tomorrow or when I have shoes on. The Yeti took his mom to the dr, she thinks she has carpal tunnel again, as well as arthritis in her C1 and C2. He told me how bad it was the other night so I asked what her dr said. She apparently didn't call. I tried to point out that if you don't tell them they don't know, it's not a Vulcan Mind Meld (Star Trek reference.). So, I told her to call, she said she'd wait, I tried. I am home this weekend and am doing a survey for the Arts board when I get done here and tomorrow I am doing a zoom presentation on cultural competency. I'm planning to renew my license one more time, but, after the two days I worked this week, maybe not.
It's cool and rainy, I took a shower when I got home so I've got a fuzzy blanket on me and sweats. When the Yeti gets home we'll eat. He wants to have company on Sunday. I work Mon and Wed of next week, so maybe I'll get stuff done in between. I see people out harvesting boughs right now, they must sell to the wreath people. I'll go out in a few weeks and get some, the count right now is 13 wreaths, need to be done before we go on our trip.
