Good morning! I need to dress to go in today, it's only to be a high of 50, so it's sweater weather! I wore my bite guard last night, oh my gosh, it helped so much. I don't know why I waited so long. Book club went well, lots of good food and friends and visiting. The next one will be at 12:30, as they are in the winter months, back to 3:30 in the spring to keep people from driving in the dark. We do this as a potluck, the main dish was a black bean soup with Famous Dave's cornbread with some chilis in it.
Today is 1st grade and tomorrow is to be music, then I only have one day scheduled for ext week. It is also MEA next week in MN, so no school Thurs and Fri as it is the teacher conference on Thurs/Fri.
Blessed be everyone.

My day yesterday was good. The food at Shoney’s was very fresh and delicious. Especially the fresh tomatoes. I got my melaleuca order. I especially like the dish soap. It is a bit warmer today. I started laundry and coffee. Hope all of you have a good day. ☕️

It was so nice and cool this morning that Mandy and I walked to the pet area and back. Because of the walk Mandy was quicker with her duty. She actually took her time going back home instead of thinking it's a race. I don't move real fast in the morning. And without my first cup of coffee, no way was I in a hurry either way. hehehe
A load of dark clothes are in the washer while I enjoy my coffee and doughnut. Next I'll make the bed and see why my golf cart was in a snit last night. No other plans for the day.

Sun is out & Christina is here. Two good things. An appt. with the oral surgeon. Two more stops after that. Bank & drug store. Two places we're at often. That will keep us busy till mid afternoon.

Goodmorning grannies, another sunshiney morning and not as chilly as it has been. It was 50* this morning and going to the low 70s. A little warm up for a few days but not much.
Laurie, the book club sound like a nice gathering to eaet and enjoy some time with friends. Must be chili weather, we had chili a couple of days ago. Sure was good on a chilly day.
Mamma hope the golf cart gets over it's hissy fit and is behaving well. Morning coffee is my start for the day.
IC hope all is well when you see the oral surgeon and you can get on with the things that need to be done.
This is the day that I start Kathy's sewing lessons. I will be showing her how to use the sewing machine. Today she will just use the unthreaded machine to do some shapes on paper and learn to operate the machine. Lots to know before real sewing begins. I do hope she can do it. She really needs something that she can do well that the other girls don't do. A developmentally challenged kid stuck between two super bright sisters can't be a good thing for her. She has been begging to use the sewing machine so today we will give it a try.
Finally finishing a prayer shawl that was started sometime ago and not finished?? Then it needs the fringe added to finish and all that can be done today. A few minutes on the treadmill should make a busy day for me.

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's just 48 and lightly raining - think it is suppose to rain today & tomorrow. I even have the light on in here. I chose red today, because it's a red letter day for me. I had an excellent report yesterday, and I can now go off of the Letrozole and if my local provider is comfortable doing my breast examine I do not have to go back to La Crosse again. She said not many Drs. can say I hope I don't see you again, but I love it when I can! I know my local gal will, because she has before, one time when I thought something didn't feel exactly right and I wasn't scheduled to go back to her for awhile. I feel great about this! A reason to celebrate, so I did the red today.
Laurie, we didn't go to the Hungry Peddler this time. That street is under construction, as they are putting in round abouts along there. Thid time we went to Houtin's - not sure if I spelled that right, it's on Jackson St. and across the street from the Mayo clinic parking lot. The parking lot on the right is gone now, as there is a large building going up there in front of the cancer center. Not sure what is going into it.. I went up the Minn... side and crossed the bridge so I could avoid the construction and then coming home, I went down to Losey Blvd. and took that over to get on 35. I always think of you when I go by Genoa and the fish hatchery. Carolyn, I have probably told you this before but I have horrid memories of Shoney's - I have only been to one, once, and it was one of the worst meals I have ever had. I remember fish being not cooked enough, and I probably would only eat at one again, if it was the only choice. Mamma, nice to have a little walk to get your day moving - I wish I could walk, although morning wouldn't be my choice of when to go. I see yu have graduated from cookies to donuts - always a good treat. I should go out and get some more cider donuts - the season for them is short and they are so good. IC, enjoy your day with Christine. I hope all goes well for your appointment. I have little reason to go to the bank these days -- it goes out faster than it comes in! Grammy, I just love how you take it upon yourself to teach Kathy and spend that one on one time with her. You always teach her the proper way to do things and not just to get it done. No wonder she likes spending the time with you. I hope you enjoyed your coconut cream pie - a favorite of mine too. Debbie, good luck with the move home again.

Jane, I am sorry about the bad experience at Shoney’s. The vegetables are what I usually eat. I don’t eat out often. Thinking of making some chicken and salad for lunch. So happy to hear your good news. Thank God 🌺

This morning Denny called and said that they will pick up my cart. Well Arnold is now on the truck. I told the gentleman that it has been hesitating and left me on the end of the road last night. I let the cart coast to a stop and then off we went again. I took the garbage down and came straight home. It was nice enough for Mandy and I to walk. Looks like we will be walking a lot for awhile. There will be couple days next week where I’ll have to take the car since it will be too hot on the tar for Mandy’s feet. I do hope they can fix the cart right this time and not take so darn long. This is so frustrating.
This morning I got the binding sewn on and pinned. I’ll finish it tomorrow. I’m done for the day. Unless I get a wild hair or bored. Heck, I’m always bored. But I won’t over work my arm. At least the hardest parts are done....the quilting is the worst for my arms.
The new neighbors have moved in last night. I hope they are better than the previous ones. She smokes like a steam engine so that will be an issue when I want the windows open. At least today the wind is out of the north blowing her smoke away from me.
Laurie, I loved MEA, no school!!!!!! In fact the last couple years, I loved any day there was no school. Those were my worst years.
Grammy, I hope that Kathy exceeds all expectations and does super well.
Jane, I still much prefer cookies with my morning coffee. But yes, it was a nice change. Although I am a creature of habit and still had to have at least one cookie. LOL I am so super excited about your good news "red Letter" day. How wonderful. I'll tip a wine cooler for you later today.
Time to do up some dishes and see what I can avoid doing today.

A very busy day. The oral surgeon said my gums are healing. Have to see him again the end of next month. Probably won't get my dentures till next year. Got to the bank & the grocery store. Grocery Outlets prices are cheaper than the regular grocery store. With winter coming I'm stocking up on nonperishable items. Local paper says we might get some snow next month UGH
Jane Great news on your check up yesterday. I'm so happy for you.

Good Evening...
YAY Greenback...so happy to hear your good news.
It was a very pleasant nice day today. The sun was shining and the temp was in the low 60's.
I decided to go shopping today and not clean a closet...LOL Had a nice time looking around. I did buy a few little things. I sat outside on the swing for a short time and it felt nice. Rain isn't suppose to move in till Saturday, so it should be a nice enough day to play outside tomorrow when the kids are here. DH is still on his camping adventure. Might be home Saturday or Sunday night. He wasn't sure yet. He and his friend have seen a lot and enjoyed it.
Hope everyone has had a nice day....see you tomorrow sometime when I can get here.

Ordinarily this simple jelly roll quilt would've taken a day to make. But with my arms being what they are, it took me three weeks from start to finish. And it is the worst sewing I have done. It was to be a lap quilt but as you can see, on my queen size bed, it is much larger than a lap. hehehe It's done and the last quilt I'll make. Without Gods help I never would have been able to do this. It's the only quilt I have anymore that I made myself.
