Good morning.
Wow, I didn't wake up until 7:03. And if I had not looked at the look, I'll bet that I would still be sleeping at 8. Last night is the best I've slept in a very long time. Not once did I get up to use the bathroom either. Amazing.
Mandy was slow in the pet area this morning. She was more interested in just staring into space than going potty. That so frustrated me. But it is what it is.
Church at 8 with my MN church and going IN to my old Yuma church with Jill. If I go with her then she will go to church. She drove half way there twice and turned around and headed back home. Until she gets used to the church or people I'll go with her. I have yet to find a small baptist church so I don't mind going with her.
Yesterday afternoon Chris came with his wife and he put the softener salt in for me. While talking to his wife I learned that the new manager quit before she even started. So our park is without a manager yet. Poor Regina has a lot on her plate that she doesn't want. She works in the office but doesn't want the manager job. Like it or not a lot of the duties are up to her until a manager can be found. Chris is now the maintenance manager and he is happy. Soon the birds will come flocking in and it will be utter chaos for Regina. I feel so badly for her.
A load of clothes is on the washer and now I need to get to my online church service.

Good Afternoon...
It's a sunny, breezy, cool day.
DH left this morning for a week long camping trip with his friend. His friend has a big camper van so they will be sleeping inside it. They are going to the UP of Michigan. Hopefully they will have a good time and still be friends when they come back...LOL
The birthday party was fun and Teddy did so good. Never got fussy. He was a little apprehensive with the singing, but big sister Penny was right there to help him through it. She put her arm around him and told him it was all okay.
I need to go to Kroger for a couple things. I'm making a pumpkin cheesecake to have when my friends come tomorrow for games. We will meet at a local restaurant first then come back to my house for an afternoon of fun.
Mamma...I think Mandy likes to meditate..LOL

Good Morning Ladies - - - It's 54 but not much for sun, at least for now. Hopefully later we will get more. I planned to go to church today, however, I forgot to set the alarm, and when I woke up, it was all over - - - It is on line, so can watch later. I usually set the alarm before I go to the bathroom at bed time, but I needed to get there, and then when I came back to the bedroom, I just forgot. I did however have a good nights sleep.
IC, good idea to stay in when it's cooler out - not very enjoyable anyway, unless you have some where you need to go.
Mamma, glad you got your salt taken care of. Is there something you could do to help her in the office until they get more help. I'm sure she would never ask, but if you offered it would be appreciated. Nice that you will go with Jill to church - - Nice for both of you, and then maybe you can go out for breakfast or lunch depending on the time.
CJ, glad Teddy had a good BD party. Blessing for Penny to reassure him all was well! I'm sure the boys will have a great time in the UP. It should be beautiful there now. Your dessert sounds wonderful. I need to make a pan of bars for church tomorrow and take up Tue. morning, and I think I have deceided on cherry bars.

GREENBACK This is perfect weather to sleep in. I did set my alarm so I didn't oversleep although the clock woke me up. The cherry bars sound refreshing and good.
CJ Have fun with the girls tomorrow. You can have a good time and enjoy all the yummy food. Where will you eat lunch? It sounds like Penny is a protective and good big sister.
MAMMA It seems like someone who has some inner strength needs to take charge of the park. I'm sure it will take time to work things out. Mandy might be having a lazy day. LOL
ICOOK The sun is out here too and it's only 55* now.
Sunday school and church this a.m. I had lunch so now I need to take care of the kitchen. I think a nap is going to feel good too. And it's my football day. A habit DH and I had and I do enjoy it.

Jill and I made it to church on time. She is one that you always have to wait for even when she says she is ready. My friends there were very happy to see me and I them. Little did I know that I would miss them so much. Jill isn't comfortable meeting new people, in fact she is worse than me. But she did like the message and liked it being a small church. Yes, I am going back. I can get what else I need from my MN church, which I do on line at 8 every Sunday morning anyway. Jill didn't know if she was going again or not. I think the friendliness that my friends showed her made her uncomfortable. Whatever, it's her choice, but she will always be welcome to go with me anytime.
After church we stopped for lunch. Not a place I care for but it was ok. At least I got fed. hehehe Now I really need to give Mandy a bath and then take her out to go potty. My Amazon order will be here today with my quilting pins. Then I can get back to work on the quilt. I'm so out of practice I forgot to add a border, oh well, I'll make the binding bigger. I even had to watch a video to refresh my memory on how to do binding. Geesh.
Jane, because of insurance I could not help in the office, it's a liability thing. Plus no time to train me in on the computer software. Another plus, I don't like people. Good to hear that you slept well too.
Elle, Mandy and Lola are alike in the fact that they get distracted from what they are doing or should be doing.
'CJ, what an adorable picture of the kiddos. We always had to sing Happy Birthday faster so as not to make it sound like a sad song. Then everyone was all smiles. Otherwise it sounds like a song for a funeral. LOL I had a student that would break down and bawl her eyes out from the song if it was sung at the usual slow speed.
Elle, there are two other office girls but no one knows all the ins and outs of all the daily, weekly or monthly duties. Regina has to contact the owners for each and everything. Not a good situation. I learned today that a water pipe broke in our newly remodeled main building. Ruined the floors, walls and electrical. The insurance is slow in sending the money. And snowbirds are filtering in expecting things to be good. Looks like another bad year for activities. I wonder how many will not return. Last year the park had a lot of empty spots. Not good.
Well, I better pay some attention to Mandy and then get her into the tub.

MAMMA You're a good friend to Jill. You seem to understand her. It's nice that you're there for her. Did Mandy enjoy her bath? LOL Sleep well and long tonight.
