Good morning, I was up early too. As the wise philosopher of fluff, Winnie the Pooh, says..."I've got a rumbly in my tumbly." I have to gather the stuff I am taking to the farm anyway, so may as well be on time for a change. The low tire sensor went on yesterday, so I have the Yeti looking at it. Next I need to get things together-tote bag for Center, phone charger, clothes, warm jacket and shoes, and chili making things. The chili will get made in the morning. I need to take something to book club on Wednesday so I'm making the cookies that you squish with a glass. They went over well last time. That's my excitement for the morning. It is just too quiet in here, I keep waiting to hear Suzie do her treat trot or or jump off of the bed. The other two are a total mess of mud and I do think they went on a cockleburr scavenger hunt where who ever has the most wins. That, hands down, is Mrs. Red Kravitz. How she finds so many and gets them twisted in so well, definitely an award winner. I see someone who is checking my tire is getting a bit testy. I did mention it in daylight yesterday. Oh well, help yourselves to coffee, blessed be.
p.s. Regarding visiting the 'loo-my niece said her dr told her to do the "lean forward" when done and wait, I think someone mentioned that.

Good Morning....
It's a brisk feeling morning at 44 degrees when I got up. Only going to the low 50's today with a breeze.
I still have to put the birthday gift together. Won't take long as I have it all figured out how it will fit in the bag.
I couldn't taste my coffee this morning but my cold does seem to be getting better. I'm loading up on cold meds so, hopefully, I can enjoy the party this afternoon.
Lauriet...sounds like you will be having a busy weekend.
GrammyDebbie...wow...just wow...how do you do it all? There is no way I could do it and I know DH wouldn't even attempt it. I commend you for it.

Not a nice day today. Cloudy, chilly & rain. Summer temps. are over. Guess it's time to finally put the shorts away. My normal thing today. DUSTING(YUCK) I'll do it but don't like doing that job.
Elle No furnace on yet here, but soon. I was told the med. Metformin(diabetes med.) plays havoc on your teeth & that could be the reason some teeth had to be pulled. Broke two down to the gum.
Jane Medicare paid for my walker. I had to pay extra for the seat. Drs. office did submit claims for my teeth being pulled. I might get some money back. I already paid for my first visit. $800. |

Goodmorning grannies it's a chilly 43* this morning and only going to the mid 50sFall is here! In a couple of weeks the leaves will be coming down looking so pretty.
Laurie hope you don't get a flat tire as you are out and about. That wouldn't be a fun thing to add to your day. Cookies sound good if needed for QC just call and I'll be there.
CJ a great day for you as you help celebrate the 2nd birthday of your littlest sweetie! What fun to watch as he opens the gifts.
My cleaning lady is here and has started work cleaning the bathroom floor she has her method of doing some things. Today a little extra cleaning needs done as we sorta skipped over some things last time since neither of us felt good. She likes to let the Robot run so it will come out today to go under the bed and few other hard to get to places. A little more fall decor coming out for the season then it will be time for Christmas stuff.
I need to do a little supervising!

Good morning
A beautiful fall morning turning into a hot summer day. Sunny,69º and a tiny breeze. Nothing planned for the day except maybe put gas in the car. Or I could wait and do that after church tomorrow. Will see what mood I am in later. Right now I'm just enjoying my coffee and cookie.
Laurie, I always wake up with a rumbly in my tumbly. Low tire sensor light on in my car too. I really need to get that taken care of. But I have to drive all the way into town to get it taken care of. The places right here in the foothills won't do that unless you have purchased their tires. How stupid. I'll never buy from them because of that. Poor service.
CJ, what did you get Teddy? Have fun today.
IC, dusting to do here also. Not sure it will get done though. hehehe
Grammy, don't ya just love the fall decorations? My favorite.
Well, time to make the bed and maybe make a couple calls to see who can help me put the salt in my softener. I messed up and got a 40 pound bag, I can't lift that.

Good sunny cold morning, it was 47* when I got up and in the 50's now. It won't get warm today and possible some rain this afternoon. I don't have a lot to do. I have laundry to do, vacuuming the family room and I think I'm going to make chili. It's soup weather. The girls came last night and DD shared her vacation in Hawaii with us. It sure brought back memories of when DH and I went there 30+ years ago. They went to many of the same places we did. And, I snacked on my macadamia nuts! That's what she brought back for me...very good! My flowers are really looking "sick" so they're soon going to be gone and I took the hummingbird feeders down yesterday. The bee's were really swarming them so I had to wait until dark to get them in so I could clean them.
LAURIE I hope the tire gets fixed so you don't get stranded.
CJ Are you taking something for the cold? I hope you will feel better soon, so you can taste that coffee! LOL Enjoy Teddy's birthday party.
ICOOK I agree, "yuck" to dusting. LOL I think my summer clothes are put away too but we'll see. I remember some years when we had nice days in November. I turned the furnace on today. It was 47* outside and the house was cool.
GRAMMY The leaves here are falling. And colors are pretty. I just don't look forward to all the "black" when they're off the trees. I love fall and spring. I bet you're a good supervisor. You teach as you supervise, and of course, love.
MAMMA I got gas for $2.99 Thursday and yesterday it was down to $2.87. That's the lowest it's been for many months, maybe a year or more. Anyway, I'll keep the tank full when the price is right. I usually don't let it go down less than 1/2 full. I hope you get help with getting the salt in the softener. Stay cool! I could give you some of my coolness.

45 here going to 67. Fall has arrived for sure.
I have had a not so good week. Not wanting to do anything. I haven’t been any place since to the dr. Monday.
but, tomorrow I am going to go to my cousins. I will go to Church with her and then we do lunch. After that I want to stop by Kroger and get a few things.
It is 41 miles to her house. So it is a nice trip. I usually spend the night but just want to come home this time. 😊
I need to get the clothes out of the drier and going to run the little vacuum.
my knee has been a bit better. I rubbed it with pain cream.
I have leg cramps too. Getting old is hard sometimes.
But, glad I have the blessing of age.

CAROLYN I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I think a trip to be with your sister will be medicine! Are the leaves changing color in your area? That might be a relaxing, beautiful drive along the way. I agree, ageing is a challenge but one step and day at a time. Have fun!

Hello! Slow getting here again today - - slept late, then got a load of laundry going and while I was back there, the doorbell rang and it was the guy I had called about doing the new weather stripping under my house doors and the garage door and a carbon monoxide detector. He brought that and then checked to doors to see what kind I had. when I finally got here, Jen had messaged me, so have been talking to her some too. It's only51 here now at 12:45. I caved in yesterday and turned the heat on in the afternoon and then still put my old fleece top on that is so ugly but warm. Think it's going to have to go on again today as I am still cold.
Laurie - hope all go's well on the furnace install and that the tire holds up too! I think we have all been thinking of chili. I know mine tastes good in this cold snap.
CJ, you probably are all ready at the party - I'm sure Teddy will love all his new things and Penny will be more that happy to help him unwrap.
IC, I hope you get some money back from the insurance co. I want to be sure that I have a sturdy walker when I get one, since I am heavier. I would rather pay for it myself if I need to, in order to feel safe and have something that will hold up to me.
Grammy, I'm sure your little cleaning lady is happy to get to those extra places today. I just love how you are teaching here as well as letting her do this.
Mamma, I'm sure you will able to get someone to help you with the salt. SO many people like to help, they just need to be asked. Now that our warm weather seems to have left us, I wish I had some of yours!
Ellie, what fun to hear about DD's trip and them think back on yours and compare all that has happened and changed. Gas her was 3.49 yesterday and that's lower than it was - - I think the last I got was 3.59, but I saved 8 cents a gal. at KS. 3 for having their debit card and 5 for having 15 visits to them.
Carolyn, hope you will feel better going to your cousins and enjoying the ride - should be a nice time to take a little road trip.
Guess it's time for me to do something - I have also been messaging with a friend, so hope this all make sense with all of my inturptions.

GREENBACK Do you think the shorter days make us sleep longer? I've also been sleeping later than normal. But I guess that's ok. You had a lot of calls, messages and workers already today. It's been a quiet day here but I've got a lot accomplished. Well, maybe not a lot, but what I wanted to do. The dryer just shut off so I'll get the clothes folded and put away.

I know I won't get all the dusting done today. I never do. I've been having trouble with my computer ever since the technician was here yesterday. I can't get on to Google. That's the only way I can log on to websites. I'm glad I'm at least getting here. Maybe Christina can help me when she comes on Tuesday.
