Not much happening here yet - - another nice day and I guess by the sounds of it, it will be our last really warm day! I think I'm going to try to go to coffee today and see how it works on her steps. Yesterday my neighbor was out on her deck and made rosettes and then since she had to oil going, homemade donuts. She brought me over 4 donuts and 8 rosettes - - she always makes those early an then freezes them for Christmas, so she can do it outside and not have that greasy smell in the house. I sure didn't sleep much last night. Guess my mine just wouldn't shut down and none of the stuff going through it was important - nothing that should have prevented my sleep.
I see Luci has been listing a lot of the jewelry for sale on FB. I'm sure she has lots to share as I often remember MJ saying she bought 3 of this or that, and lot for herself also. Luci sure can't wear it all and I don't know that she goes a lot, unless that has changed.

Good morning.
A cool morning but a warmer afternoon. The rest of October will be in the mid to upper 90s for highs. This morning it was 61 when Mandy and I went out. Love these cool mornings. They almost make up for the hot afternoons. 
Getting my haircut fixed this morning. Debbie all you have to do is tell them that the cut isn't right or done. I thought it was ok until I washed my hair and tried to style it my way. It lays flat as a pancake on the top and puffs way on the the right side. In my case the top didn't get short enough and the stylist forgot to take out the bulk and make the right side a bit shorter than the left. I forget things too. The right side is so much thicker than the left and it grows faster too. If I don't have these things corrected I'ld have to go back in a week and spend another $25.
Two loads of laundry to do today, darks and towels. I'll also try and pin a little more on the lap quilt. The three layers are down and the pinning is beginning. Just a little bit a couple times a day.
Jane, I would like some of those rosettes and doughnuts too. How nice of her to share with you, enjoy. My doughnut recipe was lost in the fire and I've yet to find one that comes close.
Laurie, I agree, MJ, was not treated as she treated. I wonder how Luci is doing on her own now. She really took MJ for granted.
Well I have things to do before heading out so I better scoot.

Good morning, Hope everyone is well.
I put my knee brace on this morning, maybe it will help a a bit I hope.
I got up and showered and scrubbed the bath room and have clothes in the drier now.
I got a lot done while out yesterday. After the dr. I went to the credit union and by the water company and paid that bill. All of the other utilities I pay over the phone. Sometimes I pay the water bill over the phone
but they charge extra . So most of the time I pay it when I am out. It was chilly here but I opened the doors. Need the sunshine.

Good morning grannies, Just made it with a few minutes to spare! Soon morning will be gone!
I think most of the grannies have fond memories of MJ I remember the grannie meeting and her attending some of them with Luci. I always think of MJ when I hear the phrase "Rustle my bustle" and her Miss Kitty stories. Fond memories and still missed in the GN.
Mamma enjoy the cool mornings our mornings will soon be COLD! hope the repair on the haircut is better.I had one waaay too short and nothing to do but wait for it to grow,
Greenback what a nice neighbor to bring the goodies to you! Yumm! Hope yo make those steps ok and enjoy coffee time with your friends.
Carolyn sounds like you have been busy. Does the knee brace help?
I've been out for the appointment with the eye Dr another shot even tho it is better. I'm thankful for the insurance I have, the shots are very expensive but my insurance pays everything.
Lunch time and the leftover Mexican things are calling!

Good Afternoon....
It's another beautiful day with warm temps in the day and cool at night. Tomorrow will probably be the last of the nice warm weather. Shorts are still being worn for a couple more days.
I miss MJ too. She always made me chuckle.
I enjoyed my coffee on the swing this morning and then got to work on making Teddy's birthday card. I have fun making them. He loves trains, so that was what I did. His birthday is tomorrow but we will be celebrating it on Saturday.
 
Guess I'll go sit outside for a bit and enjoy the sun. Have a great day..........

It's been a very busy & enjoy full day Christina was here & cleaned & my best friend Julie stopped by. It's nice to see them & have them to talk too.
I also remember MJ Isn't she the grannie that forgot to pack her wundies for our grannie meeting & had to go buy some.
CJ Nice birthday card. I'm wearing short for a few more days then the fall temps. arrive.

Yep, I'm a happy camper now. Dawn made my bad haircut all better. I left her a nice tip since the fix was a no charge. She earned it. I've got her business card again with her personal phone number so I won't have to have anyone but her cut my hair again.
Two loads of laundry are done, folded and put away too. Also took a stinky bag of garbage to the dumpster. When I got back from my haircut I stopped and chatted with Jill for a bit. So I would say I'm done with most everything for the day. Every so often I will put a couple pins on the quilt. That really hurts my hands so I just do a few at a time.
A small grocery oder will be here shortly. It will have the light bulbs I need. Then Mike will come and put them in for me. I can't reach with my small step stool. He is a good foot or more taller than I.
Mandy is still enjoying her time on the porch. But soon I'll have to close up. I don't want it to get too warm in here, but right now I'm comfortable. It's 89ยบ outside and 81 inside. Mandy doesn't like to be on the porch unless the doors are open. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I'm ok with that....she's happy.

Good evening, it's been a hot, fall day but that will change Thursday. Today was Bible study, then we went out for lunch, then I got groceries. I left the house before 10:00 and got home about 2:30. I put the groceries away, cleaned the fruit and veggies then wanted to take a nap. I was so tired, but guess what, it just wouldn't happen. I did rest though.
GREENBACK What a nice neighbor you have. Yesterday my neighbor brought me a couple slices of very thinned slice steak, all marinated. I ate it tonight for supper and it was good. Maybe you'll sleep better tonight.
MAMMA It looks like you have already done a lot with the quilt. You definitely are a crafty person. How thoughtful of you to leave a nice tip to Dawn. Can you request a particular stylist? I'm thinking you probably can.
CAROLYN Yesterday I visited my friend who fell and broke her knee cap. She is wearing a brace too and not sure how long she will need to do that.
GRAMMY One of my favorite foods is Mexican. I even like some of Taco Bell's food. LOL I'm glad you're feeling better. How is Soraya?
CJ I love the choo-choo train card you made for Teddy. Your family is definitely talented in the art/craft department. Do Penny and Teddy show any tendencies in that department?
ICOOK I remember making a trip to Meijers in Lima with all the grannies and MJ. There, I said it too. LOL Didn't we have fun!!!!
