It's a chilly 61º this morning at 6:30. I woke up too early again, this time things were on my mind. Yesterday while boiling the pasta for my supper, I heard a pop. Then my burner shut down. So I switched to another burner and that one started up but wouldn't stay hot. The range is still under warranty so a call will be made. I have muffins to make today so I hope the oven is still working. I'll also check the burners to see if they are back up and running. But either way I will be making a call. The range isn't yet a year old.
Not sure if Mandy and I will be walking or take the cart this morning. Depends on if my long pants still fit me. We need the exercise though.
Not going in to church this morning. The newer church is just too big for me to be comfortable and once the birds come I know I won't be happy there. I may just stay at the church I was going to or continue with online service with my MN church until I do find one I am comfortable in.

Good Morning....
It's a very pleasant morning. Was in the mid 50's when I got up and is now in the mid 60"s.
We went to early service this morning and the walls are still standing...LOL We haven't gone much all summer and today was the first time since Labor Day. We need to get back into a routine.
I'll go along with DH when he goes to get DMIL's lunch. She still isn't sure where the food comes from even though we've told her it's the same food she ate when she went to the dining room every day. Somehow she thinks we stop at a restaurant to get it. She's told her boys that she doesn't want that food anymore....that she can cook her own meals. Well, no she can't cook. No way are we letting her use the stove.
Yesterday was a nice day with my mom. I helped her with some things and then we went to Arby's for lunch. Then later for supper, DH & I got a pizza and headed to the park. It was such a pretty evening and 6 hot air balloons came drifting over the lake. So relaxing.
The chipmunks sure are busy running and collecting seeds and such. When we were at the park I picked up a bag full of acorns to put out for them. They've already gotten the ones I put out this morning.
I put my October/Halloween runner on the table that LINY made for me. She gave everyone that attended the grannie meet that year, a runner that she made. I always think of her when I put it on the table. Sadly she and her DH, Frank Eddie, are both gone now.

A rough sleeping night last night. Couldn't fall asleep Got up a short while ago. Tinker needed to go out. A little cleaning to finish today. Making a pot of beef soup. That will feed me for my supper for a few days.
CJ Beautiful fall picture. Liny made me an ELVIS table runner I put it out at Christmas time & use it all winter.

Good Morning Ladies - - It's a beautiful day here and is 78 already.. To bad I don't have anywhere to go, but I most likely wouldn't go any way. I didn't go to church today, as I also didn't have a good nights sleep. Right now, I am debating with myself - - - Should I have more coffee or go to my chair and have a nap??? My neighbor got my TV going for me again yesterday. It didn't work after the cleaning lady was here, so I called her to stop again the next time they were in town - then in the mean time, I was turned it on at the set and then tried to change the channel and think I messed it up even more. They stopped and couldn't get it so I asked my neighbor to look at it when she was here yesterday - - she got it working and then later when I was going to turn it on, all I had was snow again. I messaged her to tell her we didn't have it solved and said we would look at it again next week, but she said she would be over and didn't take her long to fix it this time.
Mamma, you are bright and early today - - sounds like it wasn't a good night for any of us to sleep. I turned the ceiling fan on, so shouldn't have been to warm. What a bummer on the stove - nothing is made to last anymore. Hope it's either working today (for whatever reason none of us would now) or they get it fixed quickly. I have never used electric stoves except for one apartment I was in for a short time, or when I was on vacation. Hope you and Mandy got your walk in.
CJ, it really is a routine going to church each Sunday, and hard to get back into it, once we are off of it. I did get there pretty regular over the summer, but now since Labor Day haven't been so faithful. First it was after my fall and I wasn't feeling so good, and today isn't a good reason, other than I couldn't sleep and didn't want to get up. Your pizza in the park sounded like a nice evening watching the hot air balloon's. They are fun to watch and I also enjoy watching sail boats. Have you ever gone for at balloon ride? MY DD gave me a ride and I wasn't crazy about going but did enjoy it and while I wouldn't be afraid to do it again, I have no desire to do it - been there, done that, but it is something fun for everyone to do once. It ended up with champagne, and then we each got a bottle to take home. what a lovely fall runner - many pleasant memories when you get it out.
IC, you also have those good memories when you get your runner out. I have to look, because I think I have on too that was a gift. I tend to forget about it when it's something I only use once a year.

Oct finally got in the door but brought along some warmer temps for a few days. I still have flannel pants a sweatshirt on. I just get so cold I know it's the meds. Cassandra is the only other one to test positive. That makes 5 of the 8!
This was a day for all of us to stay home to rest and recover. A do your own thing day ,no cooking eat the leftovers. I just had a nice big bowl of minestrone, mmm good soup.
CJI have also fond memories of Liny and dh. I have a winter table runner that she made. The went to the Indy 500 and visited with her brother. Thet stopped to see me two times. Sweet memories of the GN members
I feel so weak and tired so that means I feel a nap coming on

A pretty nice day, not much got done, but it was a day where I could leave the doors and windows open. It’s almost 5 and all are still open. Of course I’m used to the heat so even though it’s 85 in the house. I’ll leave them all open until I need to cool down the house for sleeping. I can’t sleep when it’s too warm in the house, used to the heat or not. It’s kind of partly cloudy now, and a little breeze. And it’s actually warmer in the house than it is outside. The outside temp is 81.
The wind yesterday didn’t blow as much dirt onto the porch as I thought it would. But it was still enough that I had to sweep off the porch, so no slip sliding. Mandy and I took a little tootle around the park this afternoon after her “duty”. I was surprised that no one was sitting on the porches. Tonight we will just walk to the end of the block for her thing. Then I’ll take a shower. I hope to get to WM and have the stylist do a better job on my hair cut. The top is flat like a plate is setting on it and she didn’t thin the right side or cut that side shorter. She still has work to do. It’s under 5 days so she can fix it for free. It’s only been three days.
I’m thinking supper will be either left over spaghetti or cold cereal. I’m not really hungry so it may just be some yogurt. I’m kind of depressed today so I don’t have much of an appetite.
