Mix in a quart jar:
1 Tablespoon salt Dash of black pepper 1/2 Tablespoon garlic salt 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 cup vinegar 3/4 cup oil (I use canola oil) 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
Cap jar tightly and shake to combine.
For slaw, combine one bag of shredded cabbage slaw with one chopped green pepper and one bunch of chopped green onions. Pour about 1/3 of the dressing over slaw and mix well. The longer it sits, the "juicier" it gets. I don't like it really heavy with dressing, so I add the dressing sparingly; you can always add more, if you need it.
This dressing will stay good for a long time as long as it is kept in the fridge, just shake it well before using as the sugar will settle to the bottom. So, go ahead and make the full batch and you should have enough for two batches of slaw for sure, and I can usually get three out of it.
Enjoy!

Sounds good. I like the vinegar dressing better than the mayo kind.
